If you hold '5' you will charge your characters special move. Tapping '5' will also make the character do something.
You can jump directly up by pressing '2'. This is useful if there is a star to collect and there are obstacles either side of you.
Learn the special powers of each of the characters as this knowledge will help you get out of tough situations.
