Free Gold

You can earn free gold by leveling up and collecting ALL the skulls in campaign missions.


Grenades

Grenades are capable of damaging multiple (including covered enemies) at the same time. If you run out of grenades, RPGs or drones during a mission you can always purchase moore by going to the 'Pause' menu.


Explosive Barrels

Keep an eye out for explosive barrels and use them to your advantage by detonating them when an enemy vehicle is within it's range.


Switch Weapons

Make a point of cycling between the two weapons you have equipped so that the weapons while reloading will reset the reload counter for when you change back.


Headshots

Try to score headshots when you are fighting a boss as this will earn you lots of cash when you are successful.


Promo Packs

Avoid spending gold on the promo packs as they are not worth the gamble.


Move

You will find that enemies that launch rockets or throw grenades will have a tendancy to use them soon after they have switched cover so when you see a rocket-carrying enemy who suddenly runs befhind something you need to move quickly.


Squadmates

Make collectiong squadmates your priority because they become essential to completing certain missions due to their max firepower which is 11 when they are fully leveled up. This is particularly true when you reach Episodes 6, 7 and 8.


Starter Weapons

Save up for a machine gun or a shotgun quickly by getting through the first several levels without upgrading the starter weapons. You will find that certain missions though will require the use of a specific weapon to earn ALL the rewards.


Elite Spec Mystery Crate

It is more beneficial if you save your gold for the Elite Spec Mystery Crate as it contains rare squadmates such as Ozzie, Ace, Gunner and Scourge.


Snipers

Try to take out snipers before they are able to hone their laser sights on you so it becomes a dot, until this happens you will have a clear shot at them so take advantage of this time.

Gold Weapons

If you opt to pay for weapons, even regular ones (no gold borders) with Gold instead of cash you will get the option to upgrade them several levels higher making them when fully upgraded mmore powerful then the weapons brought with cash.


Reload Button

There is no restriction on the 'Reload' button which is located in the top-right of the screen so use it as often as possible to keep your clips full and make your character take cover. This tactic is usually more effective than just tapping the 'Cover' button as it performs two actions.


Weapons

Make sure you select the different weapons you want to use before going on a mission otherwise they will not be available to you.


Elite Missions

You have nothing to lose if you fail trying the 13 Elite missions, although the are extremely difficult to complete you will get big rewards if you do manage to win.


Upgrade

When you get past the first few levels it is vital that you make a point of upgrading regularly, although the changes may appear to be only minimal they will add up.
