Spend the crystals you have earned at either of the two shrines (normal and super) to get potions, coins, and other useful goodies.

Make doing the golden quests a priority whenever they become available. These short mini levels give you the opportunity to earn plenty of coins. If you successfully finish a golden quest you will be rewarded with even more coins.

Remember that when you beat a level the dragon you used will gain EXP.

Use coins whenever you have some available to upgrade dragons and increase their stomping power or maximum health.

Once you reach the second world onward the levels will start to have crystals and keys in them. You will need to collect the key if the level has one as they are needed to open secrets later in the world.

Resist the temptation of rushing through a level if there is no time limit and instead thoroughly explore it as each world has a hidden gem for you to find.

Whenever you stomp on an enemy your double jump will be refreshed.

Always look for an opportunity to jump on enemies without landing as doing so will earn you a combo bonus that will increase the amount of coins you get from defeating them.
