If you add friends you will be able to send gifts back and fourth. To add friends you need to find their player ID by looking at the reviews page on the Google Play, App Store review pages, or on Facebook fan pages for Curio Quest.
Spend your gems at the store on buying premium discs. Then to level your new Curio up quickly take it to older nodes and direct all of your team's Experience for that battle towards your new Curio.
If you need to get more Experienc points to level up your monsters you can always return and replay an older stage to grind it for them.
Keep an eye on the direction of the arrows during the 'Wheel of Elements' as they show you which elements have an advantage (follow the arrows) or disadvantage (follow the arrows in reverse) against other elements.
