Crossy Road Cheats and Tips

As of the Pac-Man update, there have been four new secret characters. These characters, by their shadows, are obviously the four Ghosts. Here is how to unlock them.

Inky: Play as the free purchasable character, Pac-Man (last on the list). With him, score 2500 points by eating pellets over the span of multiple runs. You will then unlock the blue ghost, Inky.

Blinky: Play as the other free purchase character, Pac Chicken. On an occasion, Pac Man will zoom by with a flash of yellow light in the same way as a police car. Try to get hit by Pac Man. After being hit, you will unlock the red ghost, Blinky.

Pinky:Play as Pac Chicken. Some time during your run, you will encounter a pair of cherries. Pick these up as you would a pellet or coin. After finishing the run, you will unlock the pink ghost, Pinky.

Clyde: Play as Pac-Man. Grab one of the Power Pellets (the bigger pellet) and the Ghosts/cars can be consumed. Eat 7 of the Ghosts. Losing your power pellet will result in breaking your chain. After achieving this, you will unlock the orange ghost, Clyde.

The best strategy is to try and stay near the middle of the screen as doing this gives you more time to avoid traffic cars that materialise from the edges and logs which can easily carry you off-screen and to your death if you hop onto them near the edge.

Keep an eye out for the cop car that occasionally passes through the streets twice the speed of any other vehicle and is impossible to dodge. You will hear the sound of a police siren and see red-and-blue flashing lights to indicate that it is about to zoom past you.

Whenever you see a red crossing light on it is to indicate that a train is about to go by. If a train has just passed through you are safe to move forward as there is normally a few seconds break between trains.
