Soon, you will run out of profitable space on the map. The area marked in darker green is somewhere that you can venture into, to collect resources for example or to attack trolls, but you can't build any structures there. To buy an expansion, which allows you to build in part of this larger area, click on the for sale sign to buy it. The game has certain restrictions on when you can buy these, but it will quickly become necessary to progress in the game as you level up.
Expansion 1 costs 5,000 Coins or 20 Cash.
