Agorian Battleplex Skills

Interception!
15

Catch an Agorian Bomb out of the air.

Start the "Return to Sender" Challenge in the Bonze Tournament. When you see an Agorian throw a bomb at you, perform a Comet Strike before the bomb hits the ground to catch it in midair and get the Skill Point.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Impatient Champion
20

Finish "Gone in 60 Seconds" in less than 45 seconds.

Acquire the RYNO V and do this challenge again. Run around the arena and use the RYNO V the whole way through to help you defeat the enemies faster and get the Skill Point. You could also use the Chimp-O-Matic if it's upgraded a bit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lifted and Gifted
35

Complete a Battleplex challenge entirely on Hoverboots.

"Start the "Fun With Fusion Turrets" Challenge in the Silver Cup and equip your Hoverboots on as you start the challenge Jump on the turret right away and at the end of the challenge you'll get the Skill Point" (thanks to Johnathan Nichols).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Master Blaster
30

Keep your blaster in the hot state for 60 seconds in My Blaster Runs Hot.

Go to the hallway in the Agorian Battleplex and play the "My Blaster Runs Hot" Holo-Game. Play a 2 player game, regardless of whether you have 2 controllers or not. Defeat the first wave of enemies, but leave 1 alive. He'll go over and attack Rusty Pete. In the mean time, fire your blaster until the red bar is in between the last and 2nd last bars on the thermometer.

Fire bursts of 2 or 3 shots every so often to keep the bar in between those 2 bars. To be safe, do it for 2 minutes, and then continue playing the game, letting Qwark and Rusty Pette die once the enemies with guns arrive. Once you run out of lives, leave the game to get the Skill Point.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Praetorian Guard
40

Destroy the Hydra Tank using only your wrench.

Start the "Triumvirate of Terror" Challenge in the Silver Tournament. You can only use your wrench, so hold L2 and R2 down, circle the Hydra Tank and mash Square. You'll keep doing Comet Strikes, so you can keep your distance a bit to avoid any attacks (it won't attack you much because you're close, but it will still periodically attack). Go through the battle as you did before, jumping over the shockwave and pulling the versa-fuses out when they appear, and then you defeat the Hydra Tank you'll get the Skill Point.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flawless
55

Finish last challenge without getting hit.

This is a toughie, but if done correctly this isn't too hard a Skill Point to attain. First of all, acquire the RYNO and level it up to Level 5. If you wish, acquire the Chimp-O-Matic and level it up to Level 5. It'll be a nightmare doing this without the RYNO V, and the Chimp-O-Matic helps out a great deal if you have it.

Next, unless you still want to get your trophies for beating the game on Normal or Hard, change the difficulty to Casual (finish the game first if you haven't, this is almost impossible on Normal or Hard). Go to the Agorian Battleplex and start the "Overkill" challenge in the Raritanium Tournament.

Stick to your RYNO V and/or Chimp-O-Matic the whole way through. Keep moving at all times and never stop firing. If you're using the RYNO V, be sure to navigate your way around the arena so you go past ammo boxes. Fire at them to open them rather than using your wrench.

The worst enemy here is the shielded Agorian, especially when you're using the RYNO V. The shields they use can somehow block hundreds of rockets, and yet are movable by attaching a kinetic tether to them and yanking them away. As soon as you see one of these guys run towards you, get rid of his shield and blast him. It gets worse as you progress, as there will be tons of them surrounding you.

This wouldn't be a problem if they weren't throwing small bombs at you. When firing the RYNO V, you may not see or hear the bombs, especially in the later waves. Strafing alone isn't good enough, as the Agorians aim ahead of you when they throw. It's too hectic to know when to change direction, so your best bet is to remove their shields as soon as you either seem them run at you or after they throw a bomb. You can also opt to throw a Groovitron at a group of shielded Agorians, remove their shields whilst they're distracted and then kill them.

Once you reach the War Grok, use your RYNO V to take him down with ease. Remember, he'll throw out some smaller enemies once he's down to 2 thirds of his original health, so blast them before re-focusing on the War Grok. Once he's down, you'll face the Hydra Tank. So long as you jump over the shockwaves each time the tank activates its shield, you've got nothing to worry about.

Here's tip from Thanatos2k:

I found a rather cool bug to get that annoying Skill Point "Flawless. If you get hit during your run you can try to use this glitch instead of  quitting. Round 19 is the War Grok. During wave 18, whittle down most of the enemies then toss out a Rift Generator and make sure it will kill the rest off.

When there's 1 or 2 enemies left, quit the arena match by goig to the Pause Menu and selecting Leave Arena. If things go according to plan, the next round will start before the quit gets registered, and the cutscene for raising the War Grok will play. Quit and quickly restart the challenge again.

In addition to the wave 1 enemies (if any)....the War Grok will still be there. Kill it. The Hydra tank will then appear, and the round will claim to be 2/20. Kill the hydra tank and the challenge flags as finished. If you didn't get hit for the easily defeatable War Grok/Hydra Tank you'll get the Flawless skill point!"

Here's a tip from Matt Wilson regarding the shielded Agorians:

"Whilst firing the RYNO V, simply jump towards ot over the shielded Agorians, and they will move their sheild to try hit you. But, they will miss because you are airbourne, and from there your rockets should kill them."
