Information - A and B are confronting each other in a game of 10-
round card game. The rules of this game are simple:

water twice, while Player B drew fire twice, wood
five times and water three times. There were no ties.

the bar, covers up one of the caps and asks you, "Is
the logo on this cap facing up or down?"
With this situation shown in the diagram above, can
you answer her question?
Solution - The answer is "B". The cap is facing down.

There are three colors and each tile is a solid color
Use the available tiles and stack them on top of each
other to construct a top hat like the one above.
How should you layer them? Take the tiles from the
right and place them inside the border on the left.

Puzzle 040 - Crossed Connections

Information - You have four cables plugged into four sockets, but
as they run through pipes you have no idea which
cable connects to which socket. You only know part of
where cables B and C run through, shown above.
The length of cable inside the pipe is 6m for each
cable and each section of pipe is 1m long. However,
while the vertical pipes can hold as many cables as
needed, the horizontal pipes can only hold one cable.
Can you work out which cable is connected to which
socket?
Solution - Cable C connects to Socket 1; Cable D to Socket 2;
Cable A connects to Socket 3; Cable B to Socket 4.

miserable. Where is the best place to put it up
without harming the cheerful ambience of the cafe?
This is a special photo so you can't cut it up.

Information - You want to cut this unusual 6x6 chessboard into four
pieces that are the same shape, have an equal area,
and each contain one white pawn and one black pawn.
Can you work out how to do it? Draw lines on the
board to show where to cut it. Keep in mind solutions
may be rotated but cannot be mirrored.

Puzzle 044 - Suit Crates

Information - Four large painted crates are sitting here. When
stacked in a certain way, these crates combine to
create one of the four symbols of a card suit: either
spade, heart, diamond, or club.
Use the crane to move the four crates and place them
on the dais on the right, so that they form this card
suit symbol. You can rotate the crates horizontally
in midair.
Solution - Arrange the crates so that you form a suit of clubs.

Information - The museum has received a letter from a mysterious
art thief. It reads: "Your precious queen is all
mine!" The curator awash with panic has rushed off to
see whether his prize statue really has been stolen.
Since he keeps it well-hidden right at the back of
the warehouse, however it is rather difficult to
check. Move the crates around to open up a path and
get the statue from the far left of the exit on the
right.
Solution - For this solution, when I say a color of a crate,
I'm pertaining to the outline surrounding a crate.
01. Move yellow square box all the way right.
02. Move blue violet rectangular box right and up.
03. Move sky blue rectangle box right.
04. Move red rectangle box right next to yellow box.
05. Move sky blue rectangle box back left.

Puzzle 046 - Toppings Up!
Picarats - 30
Information - A reknowned but clumsy chef prepared this
mouthwatering margherita pizza and cut it into eight
slices. Unfortunately, he somehow managed to flip all
but one of them in the process.
He tried his best to flip the slices back up, but the
cheese is spread so thickly that everytime he flips
one, the adjacent slices turn over with it.
Can you find a way to flip the slices so they all
face the right way up?
Solution - Starting from slice 1 (the one that faces right side
up), count the slices clockwise. Flip slices 2, 5,8.

and ended in draws.
Much to her surprise, E managed to win a match
despite being a tennis rookie. Can you work out who
she defeated?

Information - The ringmaster is having a word with the man in
charge of lighting -- an angry word.
"Hey! What do you call this mess?! Put those lights
in order on the double! Leave the top left and bottom
right ones -- they're all right. You need to move and
rotate the rest. And they need to be in order from
top left to bottom right!
Solution - Swap the lights so that they form the numbers 1 to 8,
with the color order of white, red, blue, yellow for
1 to 6 and yellow, blue, red and white for 5 to 8.

4. Since my view was blocked, I took to looking at my
ticket and noticed the seat number and row number
were two apart.

sitting on a 5x5 board. Both Lucky and the kittens
can jump over any kitten that is on a horizontally,
vertically, or diagonally adjacent square. Jumping
over a kitten removes the kitten from the grid. Lucky
is safe though as the little kittens can't jump
over her.
Can you jump and bounce the cats around so that only
Lucky is left sitting alone in the middle.

4. From the west, the sapphire is on the far right,
the ruby is on the far left, and two jewels lie
between them.
