Coins:

Coins are the main currency in Car Town. They are used to buy new vehicles, items and all of the generic things that keep your town ticking over. For anything more unique, exotic, or potentially game-changing, you will need to use Blue Points.

How to get Coins:

You can earn coins by completing jobs, playing the game regularly, thus earning you Daily Bonuses (which can include other items as well as Coins), and through purchasing Functional Items to place in your Garage. These earn you Coins over minutes or hours and require no action on your part once you have positioned them.

Try to complete some of the game's Car Collections, which you can get the details of by clicking on the left-hand side of the screen, to get an extra influx of Coins upon completion. Levelling up wil also net you a healthy stash of Coins most of the time.

You can also purchase Coins with real money or Facebook Credits.

Points/Facebook Credits:

Also in Car Town is the Points Currency. This is calculated as a combination of Blue Points and Facebook Credits. As mentioned above, they are used to purchase some of the bigger and more influential items on offer to try and earn money for the game's developers. The game will always choose to spend your Blue Points before Facebook Credits, as the latter can be used in any game and so are a bit more valuable.

How to get Blue Points without earning them:

You can convert any Facebook Credits that you have into Blue Points, or purchase them directly through the Add Coins and Points Tab in Car Town. You should also keep an eye out across Facebook for ways to earn Facebook Credits, and in Car Town itself for contests and promotions. Look out below your Fuel gauge as this is where a whole heap of ways to earn Points appear - normally you have to pay for Points, so being able to watch videos or complete surveys to get them is a great idea. This section is called Watch and Earn.

You can't send Blue Points to friends or gift them, unfortunately. They are a premium currency, like real money, so they have to keep them hard to come by.

New players get Blue Points at the start of the game, while old players get 1 point each level.
