The FINAL Battle. First off head out to the Salt Flats. We have to fight through 3 full levels before we get to The Vault. There are fast travel terminals at each level so we can head back to New Haven for health and ammo if need be. There are going to be a LOT of Crimson Lancers and Guardians to go through. The Guardians are generally easy as they hover in place but they can do a LOT of damage so have cover. Do not get tempted to try to run forward. You don't want anyone shooting you in the back so just work your way forward slowly and surely. Once in The Vault the boss batle is pretty straightforward. Just unleashed everything you have into the glowing blue eye are. You can shot the purple spots on the tentacles to make them blow up, but it's really not needed. Stay away from being directly in front of the Destroyer so you don't get hit by the tentacle that shoots out. Keep moving to avoid the barbs and the Destroyer should go down pretty quickly. You've just won the game. Fast forward through the credits and there is one final small mission to complete after this.
