Following this magnificent achievement, Xavier and the X-Men return to the X-Mansion to recharge. With Magneto out of the picture, the X-Men finally have a chance to relax. However, Xavier's mind is still unsettled. During a routine exercise with Cerebro, Professor X detects some strange activity in a remote area of Egypt. Unfortunately, Xavier is unable to investigate this disturbance further because of an obligation to speak at an International Convention for Mutant Awareness. Instead, he assembles a team of X-Men to investigate. While Cyclops leads a group of X-Men through the oppressive heat waves and vicious sandstorms in the Egyptian deserts, a message comes in from Beast. "Return to the X-Mansion ar once! Revealing three PRISON GUARDS that have ALTERED GENETICS which will make them more immune to mutant abilities. There will also be one SOLDIER OR FORTUNE who is a bit more difficult then the guards. Once all enemies are cleared out of the room approach the force field in the room with ladders. View the GAME TIP to learn about using your mutant powers to get past obstacles. This force field happens to be one of those obstacles. With all the packs collected. Destroy any barrels left in the room to get some more packs, items, or tech points. When ready go through the door that the three PRISON GUARDS and the SOLDIER OF FORTUNE. This hall has two laser trip wires that you will need to destroy. At the beginning of the hall will be a GAME TIP telling you to destroy the targets. The first two are along the top of the screen. While the last two are at the end of the hall. I recommend you switch to Magneto and lift the crates up so that your teammates can get some good hits in. Fight your way to the end of the hall and enter the next room to find a SOLDIER OR FORTUNE with ENHANCED SPEED. There will also be three PRISON GUARDS whom you should be use to dealing with by now. The only major threat is the Soldier. Try to focus your attention on taking out the Soldier and then the Guards. When the room is cleared you should have some of your teammates leveled up. Go to the TEAM MANAGEMENT screen by pressing SELECT and you can set points to stats and skills you'd like to update. When ready go through the door in the top left corner of the room. There will be a GAME TIP here. View it to learn about finding alternative routes past obstacles. Kill the three Guards and then take out any boxes in the room. When ready go through the door in the top left corner. This is the final room. Defeat the SOLDIER OF FORTUNE and PRISON GUARDS. With the area clear take the moment to break open all the crates for some last minutes HEALTH and ENERGY PACKS as well as some TECH BITS. When ready accept to go to the X-JET from the top right garage door. Magneto and several of his people were able to escape, but the rest of the populace was trapped. After helping to rescue me, Magneto requested the X-Men's aid in freeing Genosha. I could hardly refuse. ACTIVE HERO: Is this really a good idea? Having the X-Men and the Brotherhood team up? PROFESSOR X: Apocalypse is far too strong for either team to battle alone. I realize this is a stressful situation, but remember thousands of lives are depending on us. We must learn to work together. ACTIVE HERO: How do we find out about missions and breifings? PROFESSOR X: Talking to people around camp will activate your objectives. To receive briefings, activate the mission computer here to my side. Veterans from the first Legends game will remember going to the X-Mansion in between levels to talk with teammates, view unlockables, view mission briefings. You will now be able to do this at The Sanctuary. After talking with Professor X you can take your time and do some of the activities in the area. To the left is the X-Traction point. This is where you can save your progress and switch out teammates. Always use these when you come to one during a mission. It never hurts to save. To the right of the starting point is a Trivia Game. Once again Legend vets will remember this. It will ask you a series of X-Men Trivia Questions. You will gain EXP for each correctly answered question. The Questions and Answers will be added to the CHEATS section. To the further left side of the screen is Beast. You can talk to him to learn about his current duties as the Shop Owner. Come back to him whenever you want some new equipment. Behind Beast is the Danger Room Computer. This is a simulation device to let you gain EXP in a safe enviorment. More information for the Danger Room can be found in the DANGER ROOM section. Next to the Danger Room Computer is the Review Computer. This is the same as the Review option on the main screen. You can view Comics, Screens, Cinemas and all other date here. Below the computers is the Hero Stash. Whenever you get overloaded with equipment that you don't want to part with you can store it here for later use. Always try to store equipment. You never know when you may need it for selling it later on. You can also talk to Professor X to learn why the X-Men and Brotherhood are working together. Who Apocalypse is and any other information to keep up to date. To the right of Professor X is the Mission Computer. You can view the cinemas that go over the missions here. For now there won't be any missions listed yet. You must first talk to Sabertooth. From Professor X turn around and head towards the bottom of the screen.
