I am still fairly new to writing FAQs, so I may make mistakes, so please bear with me. This FAQ is designed to help you find and capture all 15 Blue Ghosts in the game, by giving you the locations of each one and the tips you'll need to know to make successfully capturing blue ghosts easier. --------------------- 2. About Blue Ghosts --------------------- Blue Ghosts are phantoms that hide in not-so-obvious locations. Sometimes you must bang on stuff or use your Poltergust 3000 to suck at stuff before the ghost reveals itself. If you can successfully suck a blue ghost into your vacuum before it gets away, you can have the massive amount of cash it leaves behind. Yes, that's correct. Each blue ghost leaves behind a huge amount of money when you successfully capture it, making it that much easier to achieve A-Rank at the end of the game. Some blue ghosts even drop colored jewels, which are worth between 500,000 and 1,000,000G! ------------------------ 3. Catching Blue Ghosts ------------------------ There are several methods you can use to making catching blue ghosts easier. But if the blue ghost is accidentally revealed and you don't have a very quick reaction, the ghost could fly away and disappear for good. THAT is one of the reasons why you may want to save your game. That way, if a blue ghost gets unfortunately gets away, you can reload the game and try again. Here are some tips to make capturing blue ghosts a little easier: Clear the Room - Sometimes if there is a green, banana-throwing ghost around, he'll throw peels all over the ground that can cause you to lose a blue ghost if you slip on one. This is when you clear the room of any and all peels so that you have nothing but solid ground to walk on as you attempt to suck up the blue ghost. Capture Some Ghosts - There are plenty of rooms in the mansion that are filled to the brim with pesky phantoms. These ghosts will attempt to attack you while you are trying to suck up the blue ghost, and if you get hit by an attack, you will likely lose the blue ghost. So suck up SOME of the ghosts in the room, but not all of them. Because once you suck up every ghost in the room, the lights turn on, and the blue ghost cannot be captured. Go to Open Space - Some rooms in the mansion have lots of furniture in them, and if you run into one while you're trying to suck up the blue ghost, it may interfere with the current from the vacuum and you'll likely lose the blue ghost. If you drag the ghost over to a more open space in the room with less furniture around, you'll have a better chance you successfully capturing it. React Quickly - If you do not shine the flashlight on the blue ghost the second it reveals itself, it will start darting around the room and really fast speeds. You must then chase it and stun it with the flashlight, then suck it up before it gets too far away and disappears for good. It's a lot easier if you shine the flashlight on the ghost once it reveals itself, then all you have to worry about is successfully sucking it up. Reload and Try Again - As mentioned above, saving your game can really help if a blue ghost manages to escape. Just turn off the game, then reload your file and attempt to capture the blue ghost again. It make a difference in your score at the end of the game if you manage to snag all the blue ghosts, so don't give up! Remain Persistant - The pull of the blue ghost is strong, and it will attempt to drag you around the room as you try to suck it up. But blue ghosts don't have that much HP, and if you point your vacuum nozzle at them using the C Stick, it may help suck them up faster. Just don't give up and pull back on the control stick as much as you can. ------------------------ 4.
