I have tried the cheat gnome code thing so many times, and it NEVER works! What does the L(2) and A(2) mean? Hit them twice, cause I already tried that!!!!

You're right that L2 and A2 mean to hit them twice. But sadly, it only works about half of the time. Just keep trying, and you'll get the cheat gnome eventually. But you're doing it right, believe me.

press b and hold then press up, left , down , right in the arrow keys wich loook like this
this one last as long as you play if you stop playing it will dissapear so reapeat the cheat .
