Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

I have two questions.

1.Sometimes my character won't move and then I get beaten up.Is it a glitch? It only happens when I do a classical Mode.
2. Who do you think is the best character you start out with? I think Sheik is the best because she is fast, acrobactic, and cool.

1.It could be your joy stick it could be a glitch to.

2.I would have to say Link because he can jump high by useing his sword and do down A and it will do a lot of damage.

This is for the first question.Maybe try blowing in the gamecube and controller wire,if not then clean the game.Question 2:I think link,although he's not super fast he does have many moves.

1) it could be a problem with your controller, but it maybe a glitch in your game.

2) Sheik is good, but I prefer link.

Probably a glitch.
I think fox is the best. Hes fast and got good moves.
