You enter them at the Title Screen or in the Options/Sound Test.
If it is numbers then enter them in Sound Test. If it is words like the disable cheat; XXXXXX you enter them in Ristar (Secret Game gained by playing EVERY game 20 times I don't know where you enter these cheats I am guessing options--Cheats)
