They don't have a gender.
A dark chaos chao will have to big horns on his head going upwards, and to bigger horns on his head going downwards, almost to the ground. They will also have a flame instead of a spiky ball.
A neutral chaos chao will have one big horn goind up, and one going down to the floor.
A hero chaos chao will have to things his head that grow all the way to the floor. They look like hair.
To see what they look like, you can see them in the chao races, or chao karate. The last race of the Dark race series is against a hero chaos chao.
The last race of the Hero race series is against a dark chaos chao.
The last race of the Challenge race series is against a neutral chaos chao.
The last three fighters in the super series in chao karate are chaos chao. The first of the three is a hero chaos chao, then a dark chaos chao, then a neutral chaos chao.
