How many egg fertility fruits do you have to give your chao to make it lay an egg?

You need one, then flowers will bloom over it. Bring a evolved chao to it then it will kiss and lay egg.

Yes that is true, but if you give the second chao a fertility fruit as well, then it will increase the odds of it wanting to mate

only 1 but i think you should wait until it can walk and is good in stats i gave a newborn a fertility fruit and it wouldnt mate and when he started to walk i gave him another and he mated
