In chapter 2 I'm in the arena trying to kill the 2 big skulls what do you need to kill them? It also says not 2 use any of you badges if you can't use them, what do you do?

Unless you're referring to the Armored Harriers. You can't defeat them at all, the first time you fight them.
let them defeat you the first time then the egg will hatch and youll have a new partner he can swallow one then spit him at the other then finally they will die
