I'm stuck at the part where the riddle goes beyond beyond beyond complete all seven before before.

Go past the palace and beat up Hooktails older brother (Gloomtail). He has about 80 HP and pretty high AP. Once you beat him, get the star key and go back. Beat the other seven palace rooms as well. The hit the far block three times, and them the block by the door twice. Or maybe it's two and three. Try both.
Hit the block farthest from the door 3 times. (beyond, beyond, beyond) then hit the closer one two times. (before, before). Hope that helped. Any other times you get stuck, Goombella is very useful. I used her on almost all those riddles - her tattle ability is more useful than you think.
ok but my "3 times far from the door, 2 times close to the door" DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!
