Question for Metroid Prime
Does anybody know of an easier way of killing Boss # 4 (Flaakgra) in the sunroom !
This boss has got the better of me everytime!!!
I face it The Walkthrough makes it sound easy but when I stun Flaahgra I seem to run out of time and can't make it to the dishes in time before it's unstunned and swatting at me again.
I can make it all the way to three dishes but I'm a gonna by the time I make it around to the fourth dish plus I am just about all out of energy.
One swipe from it's claw and seeya.
I have to start over again... I've been at this for a long time I feel like just giving up.
A few of my friends have tried to beat that boss and have too failed.
So is their a way around it?
Or an easier way to beat it that somone may know.
I know I need that suit to continue with the game...
If someone can help please let me know.

Well - all I can say is that it IS possible.
Many other people - including myself - have done it.
I suggest - once he's stunned - just run straight for the "dish" - or you could try running a part of the way shooting some charge up shots at Flaahgra again and running the rest of the way.
But there should be enough time to make it to the "dish"...
Either way - all Flaahgra can do is knock one of the "dishes" back down at a time - just keep stunning him - eventually you'll get them all up.
It does take some practice - but don't give up - you've only just started the game - there is still a lot more to do!

A really good idea that got me through Flahhgra is to move towards the next dish while shooting him.
That way, by the time you reach the dish, he will be stunned.
Oh, and do you know how to dash? Lock onto an enemy, then tilt left or right on the Control Stick and rapidly tap B.
This is EXTREMELY helpful to me. I hope it's helpful for you, too.

Well.....
What I did was when I stunned him I turned into a morph-ball and rolled to the mirror and then turned back to normal and shot like MAD.
When you shoot out every mirror that you can he falls down(don't get squished!) and his roots will diserpear leaving a hole for you to Roll into and lay a bomb.
Do this until he dies.
P.S. Each time you hurt him he will turn one more mirror.

For one thing it helps if you have the charge beam.
Start off by looking around for a ciclr like thing that hangs down from the ceiling.
Like a sun plate.
Then get near it and shoot flagra till it is stuned. Then charge and shoot the sun plate up with a charged shot and make flagra fall down.
Look around for a small morph ball route.
When you find it Lay a bomb.
REPEAT.
REMEMBER: It gets harder every time because there is always an extra sun plate.
