Wher's the train? Well, if you just want to see it for fun, you'll have to wait until it just shows up randomly. Since that takes a long time, I just talk to the monkey at the train station when I want to see the train. He'll tell you that you've got to save you game, and after that, the train will come. Once you get on, and it rides out of you town, you just go back to the starting screen for this game. (It has the same result as telling your gyroid to save your game progress!)
If you want to visit somebody else's town, you'll have to have a memory card with Animal Crossing data in it, in slot B. Then talk to the monkey at the train station, and get on the train. It'll show you on the train, and tell you when your arival time will be and what the date is in the town you're going to (days, months, and years will varry when traveling between towns, unlike in real life. Then again, this is a video game!). While you're on the train, you'll have to talk to either the cat you met in the beginning of the game, or a different, white cat, whose got no face! (You get to draw it for her! It's really fun!) Once you're done talking to either cat, it will tell you that you have arrived at your destination, (whose ever town that may be) and you get off the train.
Here's a few more helpful hints about going to other people's towns: when you in a different town, look around for the police station, and talk to the officer outside of it. Since you're a visitor, he'll give you a map, witch will be helpful during you stay. Also, if in the town you in has Nookway (the store level after Nook's Cranny and Nook n' Go) and if you buy something from the store, Nook's store will be upgrades to Nookingtons! It has a cool upper level for furniture, clothes, wallpaper, and flooring. Best of all, the second floor is run by his Nooklings, Timmy and Tommy. The same is likewise for if someone visited your town.
Also, if you don't like the people in you town (or animals, whatever!) or if you don't care if they move away, then talk to the people (or animals) in the town you're visiting and become friends with them. This will result in them moving to your town, and some people moving out of your town!
Hope this helped. Sorry if I didn't answer your questions, or if this answer was too longSmile. Next time you post a question, try to be more specific!!

In the front of the town to use the train you need a seperate memory card in slot B with another animal crossing town to travel to on it
