Hey everyone, whats going on? This is my second complete FAQ, and this time I'm
writing for another random and obscure game (if you can call this a game). I'm
covering the first volume of the SpongeBob SquarePants Gameboy Advance Video
series, er compilations. Before all my dignity is torn to shreds, I'll just
like to point out that I didn't purchase this game. My friend's mom found it
sitting in a shopping cart at Wal*Mart and gave it to my younger brother. See,
I'm still cool. Right?

SpongeBob SquarePants
--------------------
SpongeBob is the main character, which is pretty obvious since the show is
named after him. He's a skilled and obsessed fry cook who works for the Krusty
Krab. Hes constantly with his friend Patrick (when he isn't slaving over the
oven) and the pair always seem to annoy their neighbor Squidward,
unintentionally, of course.

Patrick
--------------------
Patrick is a pink starfish and SpongeBob's best friend. He's fat and lazy, but
that dosen't stop him from participating in his favorite sport, jellyfishing!
He is also really, really dumb. Seriously, he has the IQ of a, well pink
starfish.

Sandy
--------------------
Sandy is a squirrel from Texas. Since she dosen't have gills, she always wears
a bowl over her head when shes not inside her dome-house. Shes really strong
and often outshines the local muscle-freak Larry.

Mr. Krabs
--------------------
Mr. Krabs runs the Krusty Krab, where SpongeBob and Squidward work. Hes really
greedy, but thats what happens when your a crab. His success comes from the
Krabby Patty, whos secret formula only SpongeBob and him know.

Plankton
--------------------
Plankton is Mr. Krabs arch-rival, though he dosen't have too many customers
visit his restaurant. To bring in more money, he tries to steal the Krabby
Patty secret formula.

Episode 1: Bubblestand
--------------------
Number of Chapters: Six
Short Description: SpongeBob decides to start a stand dedicated to the art of
blowing bubbles. Patrick joins in on the fun and the
SpongeBob teaches him the secret technique to blowing good
bubbles. Of course this aggrivates Squidward who attempts to
show the pair how easy it is to blow bubbles.

Episode 2: Ripped Pants

Number of Chapters: Six
Short Description: SpongeBobs enjoying a nice day at the beach with Sandy until
she joins Larry to lift weights. SpongeBob attempts to join
in by lifting a stick...with two marshmallows. While he
struggles to pick it up his pants rip, and everyone laughs.
Seizing the opportunity to impress Sandy and the rest of
Bikini Bottom, he goes on a pants-ripping rampage until he
goes too far.

Episode 3: Jellyfishing

Number of Chapters: Six
Short Description: SpongeBob and Patrick prepare to partake in their favorite
past-time: jellyfishing. To try to get Squidward to join,
but he refuses and goes on a bike ride. While riding his
bike, Squidward has a nasty encounter with a jellyfish which
leaves him severly injured. SpongeBob and Patrick try to
cheer him up, much to the dismay of Squidward.

Episode 4: Plankton

Number of Chapters: Six
Short Description: It's just a usual day of work for SpongeBob, until the patty
hes making attempts to run away! Mr. Krabs stops it and
reveals that Plankton, his arch rival, is inside. Mr. Krabs
gets rid of him, but SpongeBob runs into, er steps on him
while heading home from work. Plankton tries to convince
SpongeBob to give him the Krabby Patty formula as a birthday
present, but SpongeBob doesn't buy into it. Plankton isn't
through yet, though, and he attempts to take control of
SpongeBob's mind.

Q: Hows the quality of the video?
A: Pretty bad, actually. You can see a bunch of large pixels pretty much at all
times. Sometimes its even hard to makeout certain objects.

Q: Hows the quality of the audio?
A: Also pretty crappy. The character's voices sound really off and the sound
effects are also odd.

Q: Can you play this on the Gameboy Player?
A: Nope.

Q: Does this work on all Gameboy Advance units (GBA, GBA SP, GMB, DS)?
A: As far as I can tell, yes.

Q: Would you suggest buying this game/video?
A: If your an avid SpongeBob fan that likes to travel a lot and don't own a
portable DVD player, yeah. Go for it. Otherwise, I'd pass. The video quality
is simply too bad for any casual fan to really enjoy without already seeing
the episodes on TV.

Q: Are you a SpongeBob fan?
A: I used to like the show as it was a good way to bond with my younger
brother. While I'll still watch the new episodes with him, the older stuff
dosen't keep my interest as many other shows do. So yeah, I guess I'm a fan.
