Version History [VER] _________________________________________________________________________________________ I. RAYQUAZA [RAYQ] Moves Learned at Capture: Rest Fly Extremespeed Hyper Beam Shiny Colors? Yes. (Does not mean it's shiny all the time.) Level at encounter: 70 Type: Dragon, Flying. Moves Needed: HM03 (Surf), HM08 (Dive), optional HM02 (Fly). When you return to the surface from the Seafloor Cavern, you discover the climate has gone haywire. The sky is split with fierce bolts of lightning and a horrible torrent of rain pelts the land. Head to Sootopolis City to see if you can make sense of this disaster. After Kyogre has been released, return to Sootopolis City to see what Team Magma and Team Aqua have done. Kyogre and Groudon are in the center of the city, engaged in a ferocious battle that threatens to tear the world asunder. Is there perhaps a third Legendary Pokemon that can calm the waters and break these two apart? After witnessing the terrible battle in the bay, head for Steven near the Gym and speak to him. He leads you to the entrance to the Cave of Origin. Inside, you are to speak to Wallace, the former Gym Leader of Sootopolis City and an expert on Legendary Pokemon. Wallace will ask you a question about what could possibly be done about the great conflict between Groudon and Kyogre. Perhaps there is something at the Sky Pillar that could end their fight? Surf all the way to Pacifidlog Town. Then surf a little bit to the right of it until you see an opening of rocks then go left, then up. There should be a cave opening on some sand. Go in the cave and check it out. Now we're in the Sky Pillar. Keep going up the stairs until you get up to the sandy part. Hey, there's Wallace again! After he exits the room, go in part 2 of the Sky Pillar and keep going up. You'll see a weird green Pokemon there. Go up to it and press A. It will fly away, but thats OK. Go back to Sootopolis and you'll see the Pokemon that flew away. It's Rayquaza! After he breaks the two apart, go into the Gym. Moves Needed: Mach Bike After you beat Juan, the new Gym Leader, go back to Rayquaza's resting place. Press A up to him again and you will battle him. HAVE PLENTY OF ULTRA BALLS AND GREAT BALLS PEOPLE! ___________________________________________________________________________________________ II. LATIOS/LATIAS [LATI] Moves Learned at Capture: Latias Dragonbreath Water Sport Refresh Mist Ball Latios Dragonbreath Protect Refresh Luster Purge Shiny Colors? Both Yes. (Does not mean it's shiny all the time.) Level at encounter: 40 Types: Dragon, Psychic. Moves Needed: None After the credits roll when you beat the Elite Four, your Dad gives you a S.S Ticket. Then your Mom calls you for a TV snippet about a strange Flying Pokemon over Hoenn. After that, your Mom asks you if you know the color of the Pokemon. If you choose RED, you will have a chance to get Latias. If you choose BLUE, you will have a chance to get Latios. You should find Latios or Latias in grass or water. Make it run away from your first battle so you can track it from Area in your Pokedex. My recommendation is having a Trapinch so it can't run away most of the time, lots of Ultra balls (or Master ball if you saved it for this battle), or any pokemon with a status attack (Hypnosis or any sleeping status attacks). ____________________________________________________________________________________________ III. GROUDON [GROU] Moves Learned at Capture: Fire Blast Rest Fissure Solarbeam Shiny Colors? Yes. (Does not mean it's shiny all the time.) Level at encounter: 70 Type: Ground. Moves Needed: optional HM02 (Fly) After you beat the Elite Four, go to the Weather Institute and talk to the guy that gave you Castform. He will say a drought is in Routes 114-116 and 118 (I'd say 114). Go in the Cave and go through some doors to find the Lv70 Groudon. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ IV. KYOGRE [KYOG] Moves Learned at Capture: Hydro Pump Rest Sheer Cold Double-Edge Shiny Colors? Yes. (Does not mean it's shiny all the time.) Level at encounter: 70 Type: Water. Moves Needed: HM08(Dive), HM03(Surf), optional HM02 (Fly) After you get Groudon, go back to the guy and he says theres a rainfall in Routes 105, 125, and 127 (I'd pick 105). Dive in a patch of water and go in the cave, Marine Cave. Go to the Lv70 Kyogre and battle it. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ V. SUDOWOODO [WOOD] Moves Learned at Capture: Faint Attack Rock Tomb Rock Slide Slam Shiny Colors? Yes. (Does not mean it's shiny all the time.) Level at encounter: 40 Type: Rock. Moves Needed: None Go to the Battle Frontier and to that waterfall with the weird tree that looks different than all the others. Use the Wailmer Pail and it will engage into battle. Get it and I think it is around Lv40. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ VI. SMEARGLE [SMER] Moves Learned at Capture: Sketch --- --- --- Shiny Colors? Yes. (Does not mean it's shiny all the time.) Level at encounter: Random Type: Normal. Moves Needed: HM03(Surf), Elite Four Defeated Go down that waterfall near where Sudowoodo was and keep going left until you see a cave. Go in and catch a Smeargle. The cool thing is, this cave is infested only with Smeargle. Catch as many as you want. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ VII. REGIs [REGI] Moves Learned at Capture: RegiRock Rock Throw Curse Superpower Ancientpower Regice Icy Wind Curse Superpower Ancientpower RegiSteel Metal Claw Curse Superpower Ancientpower Shiny Colors? Go all the way down the desert and there should be a cave with a opened door. Go in and follow the text. Enter the door that opened. This is Regirock's room. Press A up to him and try to catch him. B. REGICE Moves Needed: HM03(Surf) After getting Regirock, go to Dewford Town and go to the upmost of it. Surf ALL the way to the LEFT and go up when you get in a dead end. When you go up, there should be some land. Cross it and go left. Go into the cave when you reach it. Follow the text and go in the door. This is Regice's room. Battle him and catch him. C. REGISTEEL Moves Needed: HM05(Flash), optional HM02(Fly) After Regice, go to Fortree City and get on Route 120. Go down the route until you see a ledge after the tall grass maze. Jump over it and cross the bridge. Then go to the nerd, battle him and go left onto the stairs and into the tall grass. After that, go onto the other stairs and go into the cave that has the opening. Follow the text and go in. Battle Registeel and catch him. ___________________ VIII.
