The Beginning

So, you've conquered the Gym challenge while thrashing Juan eh? Now it's time to take on the Pokemon league and the Elite Four. Good Luck. Before you take them on or if you took them on and got thrashed, consult this guide. This guide contains tips, strategies, and the weaknesses of the Elite Four. Here we go!

Section 1: Team Strategies
Before you take on the Elite Four, Have a well-rounded team with good movesets and levels at 45 or more. A bad team would be
 Swellow level 50
Aerial Ace
Endeavor
Wing Attack
Fly
Rayquaza level 75
Outrage
Thunder
Extremespeed
Blizzard
Sceptile level 50
Leaf Blade
Solarbeam
Giga Drain
Earthquake
Walrein level 50
Blizzard
Surf
Ice Beam
Aurora Beam
Camerupt level 50
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Eruption
Earthquake
Manetric level 50
Thunder
Thunder Bolt
Shock Wave
Spark
Reason why this is a bad team: 3/6 of your team Swellow, Rayquaza, and Sceptile can't take an ice type attack. Rayquaza would 4x the damage. two members could be dispatched by ground types therefore neutralizing 5/6 of your team with only 2 types.
A good team would be:
Blaziken level 50
Blaze Kick
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Sky Uppercut
Walrein level 50
Surf
Ice Beam
Blizzard
Aurora Beam
Pikachu level 50
Thunderbolt
Thunder
Shock Wave
Thunder Wave
Aggron level 50
Brick Break
Earthquake
Metal Claw
Flamethrower
Shiftry level 50
Extrasensory
Solarbeam
False Swipe
Fury Cutter
Salamence level 50
Fly
Dragon Claw
Fire Blast
Crunch
Reason why this is a good team: It consists of a variety of pokemon of different types that each can conquer an Elite Four member.
Now that you've got the basics of team constructing time to take on the Elite Four.
Section Two: The Elite Four
Sidney the Dark Trainer
Pokemon: Mightyena lv. 46, Absol lv. 49, Shiftry lv. 48, Cacturne lv. 46, Crawdaunt lv. 48
Tips/Strategies/Weaknesses: For the first Elite Four member, this guy is a wimp. A good Fighting type could defeat them all.
Now you've thrashed Sidney and can move on.
