this guide that I wrote may help you and give you tips in the game. Just have some

TV Fun
If you turn on your TV at exactly 4:44 in the game's time (use the clock you can purchase to tell 
exact times), the game will open the dialog box repeatedly forever until you reset the game. Also, 
if you watch the TV news on a Friday the 13th, there won't be any.


Jewel Of Truth Locations
Once you purchase the Shelves from the TV Shopping show, you can start searching for the Jewels 
of Truth. Here's a list of where to find some of them. 

1. On your dog house's roof 
2. The water trough in your horse's barn 
3. Purchase from Won ($50,000) 
4. Trade 1000 medals at the Horse Race 
5. Inspect the lampposts between the Church and Rose Plaza 
6. On the second floor of the library, inspect the center right-most shelf 
7. Play the New Year's game show on the TV inside the town cottage 
8. Inspect the calendar in the mountain cottage (it falls out) 
9. Take all eight of the above gems to Thomas' house; inspect his refrigerator



Unlock Harvest Goddess Mini Game
When using the TV, press RIGHT, RIGHT, UP (or DOWN), LEFT. You play a numbers guessing game. 
You can only play this game the first five games on spring. The more wins you get, the better the prize: 

1 win = Nothing 
2 wins = Grass/Herb 
3 - 9 wins = Grass/Herb 
10 - 14 wins = Tea Leaves 
15 - 19 wins = Lotion 
20 - 24 wins = Water 
25 - 29 wins = Tissue 
30 - 39 wins = Perfume 
40 - 49 wins = Dress 
50 - 59 wins = Golden Log 
60 - 69 wins = Fish Fossil ($5000) 
70 - 79 wins = Treasure Box ($10,000) 
80 - 89 wins = Ketchup Recipe 
90 - 99 wins = Fried Potato Recipe 
100 wins = Book 


Hint: Befriend The Sprites
Trying to make friends with the Harvest Sprites? An easy way to make them like you is to 
give them the herbs on the beach from spring to fall. They are located very close to their house 
(behind the church) and they love them. You'll be playing with the gnomes and having them do your work 
in no time. When giving grass to harvest sprites, make sure to try and color coordinate (e.g. give the blue 
sprite blue grass, purple sprite purple grass, etc.) This will have a much bigger effect in building 
friendships. 


Hint: Easy Power Berry
To get your first Power Berry, till all the squares in your farm's field. It will appear 
somewhere in the field.


Hint: Unbreakable Fence
When you are clearing your field at the beginning of the game or after a storm, instead of smashing the small 
stones, place them where you want your fence. They do the same thing as a wooden fence except that they 
require no maintenance and will never break. Also, you can chop all of the sticks and put them towards an 
extension.


Hint: Reach Level 255 in Both Mines
Step One: When you first enter the mine or advance to a new level, save your game in the 1st slot. 

Step Two: Dig until you find the stairs. Remember where it is. 

Step Three: Load game save from earlier. Go to the where you found the stairs before saving immediatly 
and dig there. This way only a 1 enegy is used. 

Step Four: Before going down the stairs save the game in slot 2, in case you run into a dead end. I've gone 
down 40 floors and found no dead end floors. But if you dont want to waste more energy just restart and go 
back down again. 

Step Five: On the next floor repeat steps 1 to 4 again. Repeat as necessary until you reach level 255.


Hinyt: Easy Legal Money
When it comes to Horse Racing, enter your horse. On the day of the competition, bring your basket and save 
the game before entering the Rose Square. 

You may bet in the first two races if you want, but you don't have to. In the third race, bet 99 times on your 
horse and when you win, buy 39 truffles and sell them the next day by leaving your basket in the square 
(it won't disappear). Remember that truffles are much more worthy than diamonds.


Increase ALL animals' affection toward you.  Confess "I was cruel to my animals"  
You may marry the Harvest Goddess after meeting certain criteria.  Confess "I want to marry the Harvest Goddess"  


Unlockable Items 
To unlock the below items, you'll need to perform these tasks:

Teleport Stone:  Be in at least year 3 on your farm and dig for it on the 255th floor of the Sping Mine.  
Jewel Of Truth's:  Buy the Shelf from the Saturday Shopping Network.  
Mythic Stones:  Found in floor 60 and below after blessing all the cursed tools.  
Record Player:  Buy it from Van (aka Lou) after linking with Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life with the 
necessary tasks completed on that game.  
Record CDs:  Buy from Van (aka Lou) after linking with Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.  


Extra types of seed 
There are extra kinds of seeds which you can unlock by shipping other produce. Simply ship a total of 
100 of each of certain produce to unlock them.

Strawberry seeds (spring)  Ship 100 Turnips, 100 Potatoes and 100 Cucumbers  
Pumpkin Seeds (Summer)  Ship 100 Tomatoes, 100 Corn and 100 Onions  
Spinach Seeds (Fall)  Ship 100 Sweet Potatoes, 100 Eggplants and 100 Carrots  


Harvest Moon Easter EggsMeet Kappa 
Make sure you have at least 10 cucumbers in your fridge or somewhere you can keep them. Each day 
for ten days, throw one cucumber in the lake near the mountain. Once you have done that for ten days, 
he gives you a special Blue Berry. 

Everyone calls you Moneybags 
When you obtained a Golden Lumber, put it outside your farm and go to sleep. When you wake up the 
next day, go outside your farm and most of the townsfolks will yell at you. Talk to people who includes 
your name in their dialogue such as Elli, Mayor Thomas, Harris etc and they will call you "Moneybags" 
instead of your character name! 

Harvest Moon SecretsSecret Fishing treasures 
In the summer, use your level 6(cursed) fishing rod at mineral beach and you can catch a pirate 
treasure(rare)and sell it for 10,000 Gold. 

In the fall, use your level 6(cursed) fishing rod at mineral beach and you can catch an Ancient 
fossil(rare) and sell it for 5,000 gold. Double all profits made in one day. 
Starting with Year 5, then every 5 years after that (eg: Y5, Y10, Y15, etc.) visit the Peak 
of Mother's Hill on Fall 10 between 6PM and midnight to activate a serect event called the Shooting 
Star Event. Make the wish to double profits (option 3). The day will end. You then have until 5PM to ship 
as many things as you can. When Zack comes, he'll double your profits for Fall 11.
NOTE: Fall 10 MUST be sunny, or the event won't activate. 

Carter's Secret Mushroom Plantation 
There is a place where you can get truffles for free behind the church, through the locked door on 
the right. All you got to do to access it is to be friends with Carter, give him mushrooms once a day for 
a season or so. During fall, go to the church, if you are good enough friends, carter wont be there and then 
you would go to the door and find its unlocked, after a short scene, you can pick Truffles and Mushrooms 
anytime you like! Truffles are worth a lot, take advantage of this plantation Weeds as a gift to Popuri. 
Instead of giving Popuri gifts that cause money, give her weeds. She excepts them, and it will raise 
her heart total for you. Harvest Moon GlitchesWalk on crops, rocks, and wood This glitch allows 
you to walk on top of crops, rocks, and wood, and you normally can not. To do this, you need to 
have your grown horse and either a sheep or a cow. 

Place your cow or sheep next to a crop, small rock, or piece of wood. The object has to be positioned 
in such a way that you can normally jump over it by running. 

Next, get on your horse, and go to the side of the crop/rock/wood that is opposite of the sheep or cow. 

Lastly, run towards the cow or sheep, and your horse will attempt to jump over the object. But, 
the horse will stop, and stay on top of the object. You can now walk on top of any crops, rocks, or 
wood that are next to that piece. 

When you get off of your horse while on top of an object, you will 'slide' in the opposite direction
you were facing until you are in an area normally accessable. If you want to walk on top of the objects again, 
you have to start over. 

50G Curry Powder 
When you're going to buy a Curry Powder in the store, it says it's 100G, but it's actually 50G only!
