Welcome to my Final Fantasy 6 Boss FAQ for the Gameboy Advance. This guide
contains SPOILERS

You may be asking why I would decide to write one of these when there is
already one here on GameFAQs. You might say "Ravensoul, why did you
decide to write one of these when there is already one here on GameFAQs?"

This guide contains SPOILERS

Well, I just didn't find what I was looking for in that guide. His tactics
were solid but generic, meaning the reccommended Quick + Ultima tactics will
work, but didn't really get into the meat of the fight.

A bit about me. I have been playing FF3 since it's release on the SNES. I
completed the game numerous times over the years in many different ways. I
always been a fan of Final Fantasy (though each game past 7 gets less
interesting).

This guide contains SPOILERS

In regards to this sexy guide, I am going to cover my ideas on how each boss
should be taken. I will also include a cheap players strategy when applicable.
There will also be Pro Tips, free of charge, When I think about it, which
hold information, not always about the game, but information none-the-less.

Read it, print it, share it with friends, give it as a gift, I don't care.
Just don't sell it unless I get a cut. I mean, if you want to sell it and not
share then go for it, don't share, be a meanie. But remember, I have a team of
high priced lawyers with some type of air tight cases (justice cases I assume)
and names like Goldman and Wyzkowski. Ravensoul gets his share...one way...
or the other!

Use: Status Immunities and Weaknesses and Stats for Kefkas Final Form.

I want to extend special thanks to Lufia_Maxim. without his exhaustive
work on the beastiary this guide wouldn't have the Status Immunities,
weaknesses, and Special Attacks, and Kefka wouldn't have stats.

Look for "Tactic Submitted By:"

This will be an indicator that I have copied and pasted a contributers
contribution.

------------------
4.0 - Bosses
------------------
This is listed in 4 sections. The World of Balance and World of Ruin, the
Final Battle, and the Legendary Dragons.

The World of Balance is mostly linear in when you encounter Bosses, the only
variation is in the Choose your Scenario stages.

The World of Ruin is linear only in the beginning, then the world is
open to you. Every boss is optional, except the Triad, Kefka and the Tentacles,
Dullahan. After the airship you can go try and end the game with just Edgar,
Setzer, and Celes.

The Final Battle is a 3 part battle. In this you choose your battle order.
Battle order will set a line-up of heroes to fight the final bosses. The
First four on the list go first. If a character falls then the 5th character
in the line up will replace the fallen character. If another character falls
the 6th character will step in. And so on.

The 8 Legendary Dragons are past of a Side Quest. You don't have to fight
them, but if you defeat all 8 you will unlock the Crusader esper. In addition
you will also unlock the Dragons Den, a dungeon with the 8 dragons in uber
status and the Kaiser dragon. This FAQ will not be covering the Dragons
Den bosses as there is already a couple excellent FAQs available.

A few notes:

Common sense would dictate that you don't want to take too much damage.
Seeing as the back row halves physical damage, from and to, your character
always assume I have told you to have everyone in the back row, even if I
dont state to specifically. I just don't like repeatedly repeating myself
repeatedly. I don't work for the Department of Redundancy Department.

Bosses don't give experience, just like real life.

Bosses don't give much, if any gold, just like real life (2g for Ultros).

Not all bosses need to be fought, many are optional. If you want to rush
through the game then get the airship and get 3 folks and go to Kefkas
Tower. (Good Luck)

I will not be giving character run downs for every Boss. Especially in the
World of Ruin, where you pretty much choose your party. I will state who
I used and how.

There are numerous SUPER cheap strategies. I am one of those that go with it.
You wanna rig your slots? Go for it! You want to see an imped Cyan beat
something to death? More power to you! I am not going to put these strategies
in the boss's section, but will list them in my F.A.Q.s Section.

Ymir (What happened to Whelk?)
================

HP: 1600
MP: 1000
LVL: 6

Steal: Nothing
Drop: Hi-Potion

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap, Sleep
Vulnerable to: Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Strategy:

Don't attack the shell. Wedge tells you this. Killing the shell nets you
nothing of importance. Okay? okay! Anyway, Ymir will attack for minimal
physical damage and randomly slime a character, which slows them. Tek Missile,
Fire Beam,Fire Beam. Unload on the head. If I haven't Mentioned it, don't
attack the shell, it blasts you with Gigavolt.

Guard Leader
========================

HP: 420
MP: 150
LVL: 8

Steal: Mythril Knife
Drop: Hi-Potion

Gil: 350 gil

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Poison
Absorbs: ---

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Poison, Invisible
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Zombie, MagiTek, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep
               Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: None

Special Attack: Charge (200% damage)

Strategy:

Before hitting the point where Terra falls you will want to unequip her. The
Mythril Knife will be helpful to locke.

This boss is pretty tough at the levels a player will generally meet him at.
In addition he has two Silver Lobo that you must kill before you can even hit
him. As long as 1 Silver Lobo is alive the Leader won't use his stronger
attacks.

Have Locke attack and Mog Dance. The Dancing will destroy this boss.

He can cast stop on a character and do some pretty nasty damage. Just watch
your health and use a potion if needed,

An all moogle team will be stronger than a team with Locke, but then you can't
steal the Mythril Knife. Do the right thing, take a guy who steals along for
the trip.

Pro Tip: Relieve Mog of his spear and shield before engaging the Guard Leader.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

MagiTek Armour x2
=============================

HP: 210...each
MP: 250...each
LVL: 8

Steal: Hi-Potion, Potion
Drop: Hi-Potion

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Lighting
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
                 Doom, Sap
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sleep
               Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: Protect
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Metal Kick (150% damage)

Strategy:

Not really a Boss fight so much as a story driven event. The Magitek Armors
can hit you for physical damage with Metal kick or blast you with a Magitek
laser. Neither attack is much to worry about. I mean, you could never take
an action and eventually they would beat you, but that just isn't a sound
strategy.

Edgar should use his Auto Crossbow. It does nice damage and hits both the
armours. Also, the Noise Blaster will confuse the armours, causing them
to use Magitek laser against themselves.

Locke should attack, or even steal for some healing potions, Hi or
normal.

Terra should use fire. Not only will this cause a cutscene but will do damage
which is what I call the "Do Damage Theory (tm)".

The little armours should go down with minimal fuss.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Vargas
==================

HP: 11600
MP: 220
LVL: 12

Steal: Mythril Claws, Potion
Drop: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: ---

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap
                 Sleep
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Doom Fist (unblockable; standard damage, inflicts 'Doom')
Strategy:

Vargas...much cooler looking than Sabin. Vargas comes equipped with two pet
Ipoohs. Just as in the Guard Leader battle you must kill these silly ol'
bears before you can attack Vargas. They arent too tough and go down with
minimal effort. Auto Crossbow, Fire, Fight.

While you beat on the pets Vargas will return the favor by beating on you.
No matter what, after he loses a certain amount of HP a cut scene will ensue
allowing Sabin to enter the fray. Continue the fight and Vargas will Doom
Fist everyone but Sabin away. You are then clearly told what to do. Do as
instructed, giving the Raging Fist of Justice to the butt of EVIL! You then
win.

Pro Tip: Can't follow directions? I can't help with that but I will still try.

		Raging Fist:
		 - Choose Blitz with your pointer
		 - Press A
		 - Press <-
		 - Press ->
		 - Press <-

Ultros
==================

HP: 3000
MP: 640
LVL: 13

Steal: ---
Drop: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Lightning
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Image, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Ink (standard damage, inflicts 'Darkness')

Strategy:

One of my favorite characters in any Final Fantasy game beside Garland (Who
will knock you all down). Ultros can actually be a bit of trouble for the
new player. He attacks with Ink, which does a small amount of damage and causes
blind status, a multi target Tentacle attack that hits pretty hard, and a
single target tentacle attack which could OHKO a weaker character.

Auto-Crossbow, Aura Cannon (or Rising Phoenix if for some insane reason you
have it),Fire, and have Crazy Beard Bannon use Pray every turn. Also do
yourself a favor and make sure every character is in the back row, this will
protect you from the physical damage of tentacle. With Banon healing this
fight is almost a guaranteed win.

Pro Tip: I have been asked to tell you Seafood soup is NOT on the menu!

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Tunnel Armour
=========================

HP: 1300
MP: 900
LVL: 16

Steal: Bioblaster, Air Knife
Drop: Elixir

Gil: 250 gil

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Lightning, Water
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: Nothing

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Drill (200% damage)

Strategy:

Tunnel Armor hits as hard as he plays. He casts Bolt and shoots you with a
Drill. Both cause alot of damage.

Locke is reccommended to be equipped with the Air Knife you own and the Genji
Golve relic, as this will maximize the damage output.

Celes should make with the Runic to take
care of the magic. Do this every turn. Every. Turn. Locke can waste some time
stealing, using potions to heal or even attacking to defeat the armor. It's a
pretty basic fight.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Phantom Train
=========================

HP: 1900
MP: 350
LVL: 14

Steal: ---
Drop: Tent

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Holy, Lighting
Absorbs: Poison

Type: Undead
Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Silence
Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: MagiTek, Death, Doom, Critical, Image

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Wheel (200% damage)

Strategy:

The Phanton Train is pretty tough, the toughest boss so far. He has a
physical attack in Wheel, Acid Rain, which can hit your party hard, and
Diabolic Whistle, which causes various status ailments to your party.

So you know what it is going to throw at you, what shall you do?

Sabin should use Aura Cannon, which does pretty damage to the locomotive...
OF THE DEAD! (That was a joke, it's not really called that). Cyan needs to
use Fang. But he can also use the Bushido that uses Demi, as the Phantom
Train isn't immune to Instant Death Attacks. Shadow should throw shurikens at
the train. Repeat until the Train stops being alive...er... undead...whatever
...until you win.

Use whatever you have to remove status ailments, I would only worry about
confuse and poison. If someone other than Cyan is confused use his FIGHT
command as Cyans FIGHT hits like a weak and tired kitten.

Cheap Tactic: use a Phoenix Down or Elixer. This defeats the train instantly,
it's undead.

Pro Tip: In Sacramento, Ca. there is a historical train museum. Pretty cool.
It's not haunted, and doesn't have ghost trains, but is still pretty neat.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Rhizopas
====================

HP: 775
MP: 39
LVL: 13

Steal: ---
Drop: Remedy

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Lightning
Absorbs: Water

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
                 Silence
Vulnerable to: Darkness, MagiTek, Critical, Image, Berserk, Confusion, Sap
               Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Bite (150% damage)

Strategy:

If it weren't for a music change you wouldn't know this was a boss.
Fang and Aura Bolt/ Rising Phoenix for an easy victory.

One thing to be aware of is El Nino. It is a powerful water based attack that
does respectable damage. It generally won't get a chance to use this attack but
I would be remiss if I didn't warn you.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Hell's Rider
========================

HP: 1300
MP: 170
LVL: 14

Steal: Elixir, Mythril Vest
Drop: Remedy

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Poison
Absorbs: ---

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Zombie, Invisible, Imp, Confusion
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, MagiTek, Petrify, Death, Doom, Critical
Image, Silence, Berserk, Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: None

Special Attack: Silver Lance (300% damage)

Strategy:

Not too tough. Make sure Locke is around to steal a fancy Mythril Vest. Just
beat on the fella with Magic, as he has some massive physical defence.
Other than attack, the Hell's Rider uses Venom Mist to cause Poison. The rider
may use Acid Rain, but you still shouldn't have any trouble.

Tactic Submitted By:
Master_Gamer:
I'd advice the Onion Rider strategy. Wherein you steal its crap and die until
you have three Mythril Vests. And Snare is effective against him.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=
Kefka
=================

HP: 3000
MP: 3000
LVL: 18

Steal: Elixir, Hi-Ether
Drop: Peace Ring

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: ---

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap, Sleep
Vulnerable to: Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

Kefka, everyone who is anyone knows that Kefka is the best villan in the FF
series. Anyway. Kefka will cast Blizzard, Blizzara and try and poison your
team. Fire off everything you have. If Celes is in your group then use Runic
every turn for a much easier win.

I would use Edgar for his tools, Sabin for Aura Cannon, Celes for Runic, and
Gau for his Stray Cat rage. You'll do tons of damage quickly and your attacks
won't be absorbed by Runic.
=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Dadaluma
====================

HP: 3270
MP: 1005
LVL: 22

Steal: Thief's Bracer, Jeweled Ring
Drops: Thief's Knife, Twist Headband

Gil: 1210 gil

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Poison
Absorbs: ---

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Death, Critical, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap
Vulnerable to: Darkness, MagiTek, Imp, Petrify, Doom, Image, Silence
               Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: None

Special Attack: Sweepkick (standard damage, inflicts 'Sap')

Strategy:

This guy is pretty powerful. He has respectable Damage, will heal himself,
he can call for help from Brawlers, and can cast safe on himself.

After a few rounds of fight he'll down multiple Hi-Potions and then toss two
daggers, almost guaranteeing OHKOs for 2 of your party members.

So against this I would reccommend:

Edgar for his Drill/Chainsaw
Celes for healing and offensive magic
Gau for Trillium (which casts Bio)
Locke can attack and may steal a nice item from the boss
Cyan can use Fang and his other Bushidos

Just beat on him as fast as possible, healing as often as you need.

Cheap Tactic: Confuse one of the Gobbledygook and they will cast Vanish on one
of your party members. Dadaluma will have nothing that he can hit you with but
Shockwave, and i've only had him use that once in all the time I have played.

Ultros (part duex)
===========================

HP: 2550
MP: 500
LVL: 19

Gil: 2 gil

Steal: ---
Drop: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Lightning
Absorbs: Water

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Image, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Ink (standard damage, inflicts 'Darkness')

Strategy:

Apparantly Ultros was leveling up too. Perhaps for his live performance?

Ultros is less of a pushover this time. He has Acid Rain, which will cause
you damage over time. He also casts Fire and, as is appropriate for the
Opera, he can sing...in this case it's Imp Song.
(Rawk Fist).
Of course expect him to slap you with Tentacle.

Odd Note: He seemes to only direct ST attacks against the character on the
left side of the screen. This happens in every game I play. Either I am
extra special or there is a reason for this or it's just me.

You know the drill, green cherry for imp, (or the imp spell if you know it)
Heal as appropriate.

For your team it's ladies choice, to a point. Locke should attack, or use
Ramah...or even Thunder, if you have it from Ramah. The other 2 members
can be whomever you want. I like Gau for his rages and Edgar for Drill.

Aspiran is what I chose to use with Gau, the Gigavolt does major damage to
our purple friend....not quite OVER 9000!! but in the upper hundreds.

One thing to be aware of. Each time Ultros moves to a new position he has
full HP again. Kill him before he can move for the easiest battle. It's
not too hard.

Note: Blitz and Bushido cause retaliation with Acid Rain. If you have Sabin
and have collected the Burning Knuckle, then just have Sabin attack.

Shiva:
-----
HP: 3000
MP: 500
LVL: 21

Steal: ---
Drops: ---

Immune To: Lightning, Poison, Wind, Holy, Earth. Water
Weak Against: Fire
Absorbs: Ice

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap
                 Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

I am sure you recognize these two folks. Ifrit is Fire elemental, both in the
spells he uses, and his absorbtion. Reverse for Shiva, since she is Ice.
Both are immune to everything, elemental spell wise, but their weakness.

Use ice on Ifrit, fire on Shiva. This includes Rising Phoenix, Fira, whatever.
Celes can use runic to save you some heartache from the Espers spells.

The pair isn't too tough, just do as instructed, healing when needed, and you
will win.

A small excerpt from Lufia_Maximums Beastiary. This shows the Mechanics
of Shiva and Ifrit tagging out (No, I don't know what it means);

Ifrit:
If Var3 >= 5:
  Set Var3 == 0
  Remove Ifrit, bring in Shiva

Shiva:

If Var3 >= 5:
  Set Var3 == 0
  Remove Shiva, bring in Ifrit

Cheap Tactic: Just constantly and quickly unload only Fire spells, or only Ice
spells. Don't worry about who you are attacking. Yes, you will heal one esper,
but the ohter will be getting slammed. When one falls they both fall.

Pro Tip: The Espers aren't undead, don't use a phoenix down.

Number 024
======================

HP: 4777
MP: 777
LVL: 24

Steal: Blood Sword or Rune Blade
Drops: Flametongue or Ice Brand

Immune To: ???
Weak Against: ???
Absorbs: ???

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Slow
                 Stop
Vulnerable to: Imp, Image, Sleep

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Overflow (inflicts 'Confusion')

Strategy:

Watch for wall change, it will change his elemental weakness. Beat him to
death with drill, Aspiran, fight.

If you do use the Fight command be aware that 024 has high Def.

Move along.

He is slow, his attacks do minimal damage, and he hits like a sleepy puppy.
I don't think anyone on my team has ever, EVER been down to even half health
against him. I don't even bother to heal. Only the Holy Dragon is easier.

Even with all that said the boss CAN use attacks such as the -ra spells and
magnitude 8.

Cheap Tactic: 024 is not immune to Imp and Sleep, so you can abuse him.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Number 128
======================

HP: 3276
MP: 810
LVL: 23

Steal: Kazekiri
Drops: Tent

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: Ice

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Image, Silence, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Stop

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Critical, Berserk, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Blood Feast (steals HP)

Strategy:

Number 128, a multi part boss, this first you will fight.
This fight is similar to Guard Leader or Vargas in that there are actually 3
creatures to fight, the beast it'self and it's arms. It's fair because there
will only be three of you. The difference is that you can attack 128 without
destroying his arms.

First off, you can steal a fancy Kazekiri from #128. I would reccommend this
I am a completionist and it is really rare, but the choice is up to you.

Number 128 has multiple atacks, from shrapnel to hit, and some spells. Locke
should use thunder. I can't say who you will have on your team at this point
but I lean very heavily towards Gau myself. Anguiform, with it's fantastic
Aqua Breath. will be your main damage dealer. Anyone else is up to you.

Now you have a couple of options here. You can kill the arms and then the boss.
This will cause the team less damage overall, but since 128 can regenerate his
appendages I never bother. I just kill the body, the arms go with it.

                 Sap, Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Wrecking Ball (200% damage)

Just when you thought you were safe you are thrust into yet another fight.
This time you only get three people on your team. If you have
reflect rings you can reflect some of the Cranes spells.

The cranes are powerful foes, each can use Magnitude 8, the Left one will
charge up and use Gigavolt and the Right will charge and use Fireaga. They
can also use Magitek Barrier to increase their defences.

The left generally uses Thunder,-ra and the right will generall hit with
fire,-ra if they are not using physical attacks.

Because Fireaga is so powerful it is reccommended that you kill the Right
crane first.

Setzer can use his slots for good damage, and Lock should try and get a
Debilitator from the right crane before beginning to cast Ramah and Thunder
spells or attacking. It is up to you as to who the third character will be.
Gau should use Anguiform, Edgar should drill away, and Sabin should use
Aura Canon.

Flame Eater
=======================

HP: 8400
MP: 480
LVL: 26

Steal: Flametongue
Drops: ---

Immune To: Lightning, Poison, Holy, Earth
Weak Against: Ice
Absorbs: Fire

Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap, Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

This creature is of the Fire elment and will use Fire, Fira, Fireball, and
can summon Gernades/Baloons.

Terra: Use Blizzard/Blizzara
Locke: Use Blizzard/Blizzara
Strago: Use Aqua Rake

Toss in Shiva if you want.

Don't use Fire spells.

You win.

Flame Eater really doesn't do too much damage and you'll kill it before it can
kill you. Unless you're underleveled, like in a LLG, then just heal or
something.

Pro Tip: Steal from it if you get a chance, the Flame Tounge weapon is pretty
fancy.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Ultros (Prequel to the FINAL COUNTDOWN!)
===========================

HP: 22000
MP: 750
LVL: 25

Steal: White Cape
Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Lightning
Absorbs: Water

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Image, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Ink (standard damage, inflicts 'Darkness')

Strategy:

Ultros is actually less powerful this time around. Just fight him until
the scripted event.

Use Fire or thunder with Celes and Locke, and if you too the time,
with Strago too. You just need to survive until Relm shows up.

Once the battle starts again just sketch with Relm over and over until it is
successful. She will scketch Ultros, smack him with the drawings tentacle,
and you win.

You could always steal the white cape that Ultros carries. It's a nice relic.

Ultros (FINAL COUNTDOWN) featuring Typhon
==============================================

Ultros:
------
HP: 17000
MP: 8000
LVL: 26

Steal: Dried Meat
Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Poison
Absorbs: Water

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep
                 Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Image, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Octopus Ink (standard damage, inflicts 'Darkness')

Typhon:
------
HP: 10000
MP: 40000
LVL: 26

Steal: Dagger
Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Ice, Water
Absorbs: Fire

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
                 Doom, Critical, Confusion, Sap
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Image, Silence, Berserk, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Strategy:

For some reason this is one of my favorite boss battles.

Ultros is really weak, even weaker than the last fight. You can poison him if
you so choose, but it's not worth it unless you're in a LLG. Just cast Fira
on him constantly and after enough Damage he will call in Typhon (FUNGAH!).

Typhon is weak to Ice. I always burn down Ultros then give the cold shoulder
to Typhon. You don't need to do that, it's just what I do.

After you depelete all of Typhons HP he will snort your team out of the
battle. It's okay, you didn't lose. Calm down.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Air Force
=====================

HP: 8000
MP: 750
LVL: 25

Steal: Elixir
Drops: Princess Ring

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Lightning, Water
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: Nothing

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

Making up for the ease of Ultros and Typhon you are forced into battle with
Air Force.

This mechanical maniac is multi part. Not only must you battle him, but
also his Missile Bay and his Laser Gun. Missile Bay will TekMissile you, which
causes wound and Laser Gun uses MagiTek laser. Air Force is fond of Atomic
Ray. All three hit hard and all three move fast.

If you kill both the Missile Bay and the Laser Gun then Air Force will
release a Bit. Bit is always in Runic status, making spells susceptible
to Runic useless. The answer? Hit the thing until it dies, which it should,
quickly, as it only has a few HP.

Leave it long enough and Air Force starts counting down from 5. Once it hits
0 the Air Force blasts you with Wave Cannon. It is in your best interest to
kill the machine before it does this.

Thunder is the way to go, Water too. Aqua Rake will do tons of damage,
so Gau will be helpful with Anguiform. Once you kill off the Bay and Laser
just unload like mad. Make sure you take out the Bit. Heal as needed.

While you can bring anyone, I really found that those who can effectivly
cast Thunder,-ra and Water spells are really the most effective. If, for some
reason you don't want that then bring heavy hitters, like Edgar with his Drill
or Sabin for his Blitzes.

Pro Tip: Notice how far you're falling? I realized that you will be falling
through the sky for as long as it takes to beat Air Force. I find that odd.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Ultima Weapon
============================

HP: 24000
MP: 5000
LVL: 37

Steal: Ribbon, Elixir
Drops: Elixir

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, MagiTek, Image, Sap, Slow

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Full Power (200% damage)

Strategy:

Fancy Music, impressive looks, daunting speech. Yes, this is a perfect
choice to be an end boss...but he isn't. At least he get's to be the last
real boss of the World of Balance.

Flare, Flare Star, Meteor, Mind Blast, Quake...sound frightening?
It should be,Every boss before this has been a cake walk (except Air Force).
Even worse, as Ultima Weapon loses his health he starts using stronger and
stronger attacks.

I reccommend Float to avoid quake, or Gaia Gear to get some free healing. Be
aware that no everyone can use Gaia Gear, so get Cyan and Edgar Angels Wings.
Cast your strongest spells, have Shadow throw every turn. Make sure you keep
your health up or you will die. Should seem obvious, but generally most
bosses are easy and you don't need to watch your health as much as you do
here.

Depending on your team you will do different things. If you have Gau and the
Litwor Chicken rage you can do no nice damage since Ultima has float, but
you get some great healing from Quake (assuming you thought ahead and
equipped Gaia gear). Steal with Locke, you may get a Ribbon. Edgar should
Drill, Sabin should Aura Cannon, Celes should Runic to absorb flare. Strago
should use Stone, or if his HP are low, Revenge Blast. Mog should dance his
little heart out. I like Water Rondo. Cyan...should hit Ultima? Relm and
Terra are actually less useful here if Celes is on the team, as the
ex-general will eat their magic.

If you feel that Celes would be better used for Offence then you can equip
Reflect Rings, or prepare to heal after the big hits that Ultima can land.

It's pretty much a slug fest.

Cheap Tactic: Well, the best and easiest way to kill Ulitma is to teach
EVERYONE Rasp/Osmose. The quickest way to do this is obtain Zona Seek from
the Auction House. Drain all of the weapons mana away and it will die. Not
only that, but you will be saving yourself from the nastier spells it uses
when it's HP drops.

Cheap Tactic: Just do nothing while the weapon casts all of it's magic. It
will kill it'self or drop to so few MP that it won't be able to cast anymore.
This takes a loooong time.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Nerapa
==================

HP: 2800

Immune To: Poison, Wind, Earth, Water
Weak Against: Ice, Lightning, Holy
Absorbs: Fire

Type: Humanoid

Critical, Image, Silence, Sap, Sleep, Slow
Vulnerable to: Death, Doom, Berserk, Confusion, Stop

Inherent Status: Float, Reflect
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

I don't count Nerapa as a Boss except that he appears in the boss section of
the Beastiary and isn't optional.

Nerapa likes to share. He gives, without asking anything in return, Doom
status to Everyone on your team, so not only are you on a timer to reach
the airship, but on a second timer to die.

Don't cast magic as Nerapa has Reflect. Just beat on him fast. Throwing
shurikens will be the very fastest way. Don't worry, you pretty much can't
lose unless you take your sweet time to take action.

Of course, you should still have your reflect rings on, so if Nerapa uses
a death spell it may just kill it'self.

Pro Tip: After beating Nerapa Wait for Shadow. WAIT FOR SHADOW!
He will automatically appear when you have 5 seconds on your countdown to the
world ending timer. Then you will leave the Floating Continent.

Wait for Shadow.

Note:

World of Ruin bosses and monsters seem to be more susceptible to status
ailments than the World of Balance monsters. To get more bang for your buck,
especiallin in games with lower level characters, you will want to abuse
those weaknesses.

In all honesty the WoR equipment breaks the game. You will be so powerful that
only one or two of the more powerful enemies will give you trouble.

If you over level you're going to just kinda breeze through everything.

Monster-In-A-Box!

Simple- Don't attack the shell. Wedge told you this at Ymir. Okay? okay!
Anyway, Angler Whelk will hit you and cast spells like slow on you, Just
beat it to death. It's more of a mini boss/ strong monster.
If I haven't Mentioned it, don't attack the shell, it blasts you with
Magnitude 8. Of course, Float takes care of that.

Pro Tip: If you can get Banish to kill both the Shell and Head in one shot
you get 2 Dragons Claws instead of 1. Fancy pants!

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Zombie, MagiTek, Death, Doom, Critical

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Sleeping Gas (inflicts 'Sleep')
Strategy:

Behemoth King will start in a live form. He will cast ice spells and can
hit with Meteor. Actually, he's not too tough and I felt that regular
Behemoths on the Floating Continent were harder.

The king can be imped, but will cast it on himself, removing the effect.
Cast Imp and then Silence to take care of that.

Unload on him with whatever attacks you feel are best, except ice, as he
absorbs it. Once you kill King off you will instantly get a back attack with
an undead version.

This one is weak against holy and absorbs poison. You can use two tactics.
Unload on this one with Fire and Aura Bolt, or use cure,-ra,-aga spells
to damage this undead beast. The undead one uses Death, meteor and will try
and put your team to sleep.

Cheap Tactic: When the undead Behemoth King shows up just use a Phoenix Down.
It re-dies and you win, no sweat.

Note: If you somehow banish the live king you won't get to fight the second,
undead one. Not only do you only get 1 Behemoth suit instead of 2, but the
undead king will never appear on the Veldt. You won't get the rage.

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, MagiTek, Critical, Image, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Hit (inflicts 'Doom')

Strategy:

I hate this fight so much. Not because it is hard but because Chaddarnook
shifts to goddess and back so randomly. Expect a long and irritating fight.

Chaddarnook is hiding inside a painting of the goddess. Both use strong
attacks, which can cause seizure status, and will also use Thundera.
Both are weak against fire, so use that.

Unload fire attacks and the demon goes down...if it were only that easy.

Randomly Chadarnook will shift out, shifting the goddess in. It is pointless
to fight her because even if you kill her, on the next shift she ressurrects
with full health. This is really irritating because at times the shift from
demon ot goddess will happen right before you cast, causing you to waste MP
tagging Goddess. Worse is that she will retaliate with Poltergeist. This
causes seizure status. Also she can charm a character, making them fight
for her or cause your team to fall asleep,

There is NOTHING worse than getting put to sleep and then having to watch
her change to chaddarnook. Ribbons are always nice.

Just take it slow. Select casts just as goddess is changing back. Heal
when she appears. The biggest challenge is patience. Take it slow and
you will win.

Pro Tip: Do NOT bring Gau or Umaro, or a Dragoon. They may just provoke the
Goddess with a misplaced attack.

Curlax, Laragorn, Moebius
=====================================

HP: 15000 (Curlax), 10000 (Laragorn), Moebius (12500)
MP: 2000 (all of them)
LVL: 47 (all of them)

Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Curlax
------
Weak Against: Ice, Water
Absorbs: Fire

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap
                 Slow, Stop

Laragorn
--------
Weak Against: Fire
Absorbs: Ice, Wind

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Critical
                 Berserk, Sap, Sleep, Stop

Moebius
-------
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: Lightning

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Critical, Silence, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Slow

Strategy:

Curlax is your main target here. He will bring his brothers back to life if
they are slain. Once he is out of the way you are set. This has the added
bonus of nuliffying their Delta Attack.

Laragorn will use magic, such as Blizzara and Blizzaga. He will also run
away for a short time if either of his brothers die.

Moe will cast Thundara and Thundaga. He will cast reflect on himself to
and can cast Protect, haste and shell.

Just unload on the living brothers weaknesses, healing as needed. Well,
for Moebius just don't cast thunder spells. Physical attacks also works well
I prefer slapstick, but you may prefer weapons.

Heal as needed as they will cast damaging spells, but at this point it is
nothing to be worried about...
...woop woop woop, nyuk nyuk nyuk.

Deathgaze

HP: 55555

Absorbs: Ice, Poison

                 Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: MagiTek, Image

Inherent Status: Float, Shell, Protect
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Venom Claw (inflicts 'Poison')

Strategy:

Note: Deathgaze appears randomly on the World Map as you fly around with the
Air Ship. Each time you battle him he may flee on the 3rd turn. Luckily the
monster cannot regenerate his HP between each of your fights.

Deathgaze will always get the opening shot with lvl 5 Death. This will kill
anyone who has a level that is a multiple of 5. He will then cast Blizzaga,
attack, or use Aero.

Other than preparing for lvl 5 Death you will have little to worry about. A
safety bit and protection from ice will net you an eventual win.

Pro Tip: Deathgaze will drop the Bahamut Esper when you finally rid the skys
of his deathy mean deathness...DEATH!

Demon

Inherent Status: Image, Float, Haste, Protect
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Tyrfing (200% damage)

Strategy:

Demon is one of the three Goddess statues that Kefka...umm...liberated from
the Floating Continent. In my opinion it is the strongest of the three,

You will want Death Protection and Fire protection for this battle. Demon has
access to Blaster, a low hit chance auto kill attack and Fireaga.

He, well I guess she, can also use Flarestar, Aero, Southern Cross, and can
hit physically with Metal Cutter or his...her weapon Tyrfing.

Use Bio against her and make sure to steal the Red Jacket.

HP: 23450

LVL: 37

Steal: Genji Glove, X-Potion
Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire
Absorbs: Ice

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, MagiTek, Image, Sap, Slow

Inherent Status: Float, Haste
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Morning Star (200% damage)

Strategy:

Dullahan is a fairly tough fight, one of the few that actually give me
trouble.
This boss starts out the fight by casting lvl? Holy. This attack will hit
characters with levels divisible by the las digit of your gil. Make sure you
don't have a 1 as the last digit of your gil or it's a guaranteed hit.

Dullahan will also cast other spells such as Northern Cross, blizzara, and
absolute zero Prepare accordingly.

Since you will generally have just Celes, Edgar, Sabin, and Setzer on your
team you're pretty limited.

Celes should be on Runic Duties or healing, Edgar should be drilling, Sabin
should be Rising Phoenexing and Setzer can use his slots or attacks. I made
Setzer a caster so he had Fira.

Just make sure you keep your health up as Dullahan hits like a truck.

Pro Tip: You can drain Dullahans MP to kill him. He has a very small amount.

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Image, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Fiendish Rage (unblockable; 400% damage)

Strategy:

Fiend will use ice magic against you. Blizzaga, Northern Cross and Absolute
Zero. Prepare against this and you will have an easy time. Also, Fiend can
use Fiendish Rage for a powerful Physical attack.

In battle you may get a message stating that :Fiend's aura is trembling
violently!". Now Fiend Gains Image, Reflect, and Haste status.

If you can absorb Ice you will have little trouble. Holy Spear and Holy
are very effective against this goddess.

                 Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: MagiTek

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Knockdown (500% damage)

Strategy:

Kill 10 cactaurs in the Miranda Desert and go to the west side of said desert.
Now you get to encounter the esper Gigantaur. This beast will use 1000 Needles
over and over twice on it's 1st and 2nd turns, 4 times on it's 3rd turn. The
patter then just repeats.

Gigantaur will also use Knockdown, a very powerful physical that can OHKO a
character who is not at very high Defence.

Just use your strongest non fire, not water attacks on it and heal constantly.
remember, you can't block or absorb 1000 needles.

When slain the esper will launch 10,000 needles, where he will attack with 1000
needles 10 times in a row. This is more than enough to kill a moderatly leveled
party and can even kill someone at lvl 99 with 9999 HP.

I avoided this by having a character with the Dragoon Boots jump every round.

Death, Doom, Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap
                 Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: Image

Inherent Status: Haste, Shell
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy

The lovely Goddess, one of the smarter Bosses in the game. She isn't powerful
inthe attacks department, but makes up for it by forcing your team to go to
sleep, or even fight for her with Entice. He can use Flash Rain which will
cause Seizure Status, and blast you with Thundaga. She also uses Quasar, but
this doesn't happen often.

The Goddess will also use Cloudy Heaven. This will cause a doom timer on all
of your characters. Once they die the character will become a Zombie!

Other than Entice you won't have too tough a time with her. If you can absorb
lightning you pretty much win. Heal as needed to counter the seizure effect.

Vulnerable to: Slow

Special Attack: Ink (150% damage)

Strategy:

When you first encounter the Guardian, and the next time, it will tell you that
"You will go no farther", and it means it. It is invincible, so just run.

Guardian has 5 battle programs, including it's own. I am going to cut and paste

Weak Against: Fire, Holy
Absorbs: Poison

Status Immunity: Zombie, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Critical
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, MagiTek, Death, Doom, Image, Silence
Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: Protect
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Mega Claw (400% damage)
Strategy:

Watch for poison attacks here, along with the mighty lore Grand Delta. You
really want Strago to learn this as it ignores defence. Of course it ignores
your defence too, so heal after this. Hidon can also cause your dead to come
back as zombies with Crypt Dust, so keep a supply of holywater on hand.

Hidon will also toss around Bio, Venommist, and poison.

Hidon will aslo ressurrect all 4 Erebus if they are dead.

Holy Spears, Firea/aga, Aura Bolt etc will do wonders here. Try and protect
against poison and watch for the Erebus's. Kill them all to make this battle
less hectic.

The Erebus will generally just try to poison you.

Note: Hidon will not use Grand Delta unless all 4 Erebus are dead.

Pro Tip: Kill all the Erebus with Quake (ala Litwor Chicken or Cluck rage). One
of the Erebus's is immune to earth damage. Now Hidon won't kill and ressurrect
a teammate.

Humbaba
===================

HP: 26000
MP: 10000
LVL: 31

Steal: ---
Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Poison
Absorbs: Lightning

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Solar Plexus (300% damage)

Strategy:

This boss starts out scripted and keeps going that way. First you have Terra.
You can do nothing to harm Humbaba. Nada, zilch. All attacks do 0 damage.
Cheat and give yoursel Ultima and Quick, you can morph and still do 0 damage.
Terra will eventually be overcome and your team will jump in.

Hit Humbaba alot, cast Bio, if you have Gau use Trilium. Quickly he will be
overcome and will run away. Terra will say she can't fight.

If you decide to walk all the way here with just Sabin and Celes you can
have Sabin attack with Poison Claws and Celes use Runic or cast Bio. Make
sure you heal as you only have two character fighting for you.

Leave the town and come back. Go talk to Dwayne and then go down into the
little house in the south west of town. Humbaba will return. After a small
fight with your team you will be blown away.

Now it's time for revenge. Terra will Morph, with infinite morph time, and you
can unload on the ancient evil. As long as Terra knows Bio you will destroy
Humbaba.

For attacks Humbaba uses a physical called Solar Plexus, he can also use
the lore 1000 needles and uses thundara and thundaga.

Pro Tip: You can't get Terra on your team until you get the Airship. You can
do the first part of this quest, getting Fenrir Magicite, but you'll still
have to come back after getting the airship.

Inferno
===================

HP: 30800

Weak Against: Lightning
Absorbs: Fire

Status Immunity: Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Doom, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Stop

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Critical, Image, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Sobat (300% damage)

Strategy:

This beast is pretty strong, he is a three part boss with a torso and 2 arms.
Any time you hit him you may be countered by Sobat, a powerful physical attack.
If all three parts are alive then Inferno has access to Delta Attack. If only
the body is alive then Inferno will cast Magitek Barrier.

For attacks he can cast Thundaga, Gigavolt, Atomic Ray and Shockwave.
Lightning protection will make those attacks a breeze.

Rahu, one of Infernos arms will attack or use Raiper for solid physical damage.

Ketu, the other arm, can attack or use Slash, another solid physical attack.

After a time Inferno will reactivate both of his arms.

You have a few ways to victory, one being you can kill his arms and keep them
dead, lessening the damage you will recieve, or do as I did and just unload
thundaga into the main body. If you have a solid healer this is the quickest
way.

Pro Tip: I actually like this pallete over #128.

Leviathan

Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Berserk, Confusion
                 Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: Nothing

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Entangle (inflicts 'Slow')

Strategy:

Leviathan will always open with Tsunami, and will follow with Aquabreath or
El Nino the next turns. He can also strike with a decent physical attack,
i've had him hit twice in a row and then use Aquabreath. Leviathan can also
use Entangle, which causes slow.

Since Leviathan has no weaknesses just strike with whatever you can. Since
Leviathan is so quick you can always put Marvel shoes to good use. Just
heal as needed (every round) and strike hard.

For equipment, the Imp Equipment absorbs Water, so you will just have to use
other gear for Defence. Yes, the Reed Coat can be worn by a non imp.

Pro Tip: Locate the little fish by taking the boat from South Figaro to Nikeah
after you get the Airship.

Magic Master
========================

HP: 50000
MP: 50000
LVL: 68

Steal: Crystal Orb, Elixir
Drops: Megalixir

Immune To: ???
Weak Against: ???
Absorbs: ???

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify
Death, Doom, Critical, Image, Silence, Confusion, Sap
                 Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: Berserk

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

First off, you should still have reflect rings from when you were making
your way up the tower. Bounce offensive spells off your team to damage
the Magic Master.

Magic Master, at the top of a tower that only allows magical spells...guess
what kind of attacks he uses. If you guessed physical then you are wrong.

The master uses numerous spells to pelt your team. Watch for Blizzard, fire
and thunder and their stronger versions. You must also be prepared for Death,
Silence, and Bio.

He will also change his weaknesses if you use elemental spells on him. Libra
will keep you in the know as to what to use on him. Of course non elemental
spells will always work.

Since you are limited to magic you'll be using alot of MP. Lucky for you the
Magic Master has a ton of MP to go around, so use Osmose. Just do like you
did on the way up and bounce spells off of yourself to hurt him, and off of
him to heal you.

At the end of the fight it gets tricky. Once he dies he will cast Ultima with
his last breath. You die, game over. You have a few ways around this. You can
keep track of your damage by casting Libra every few rounds to keep track of
his HP and then cast the esper that causes the whole team to jump.

Your other option is Re-Raise, which will bring you back to life after you
are slain by Ultima.

Pro Tip: You can drain the MP of the Magic Master to kill it. Just be aware
that this will take a loooooong time.

Master Tonberry
====================================

Where you at?! - Cave To The Ancient Castle

HP: 22000
MP: 1200
LVL: 73

Steal: Elixir, Megalixir
Drops: Gladius

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: Water

Status Immunity: Zombie, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, Image, Sleep, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Knife (800% damage)

Strategy:

Monster-In-A-Box!

The Master of Tonberries is a very tough customer.

He will counterattack with a lore called Traveller, a non -elemental and
unblockable spell that does damage based on the number of steps you have
taken. He can also hit you with his knife attack, this does alot of physical
damage. Tonberry can change his weaknesses with Barrier Change. Finally this
jerk can toss about spells like the agas, bio, quake, holy, and tornado.

This is one of the stronger of the "boss" monsters, so prepare for him.
Equip as much defence as you can and have 1-2 characters attack with their
strongest attacks. I had Setzer with the Fixed Dice. The other two should
concentrate on healing.

If you win you get the Gladius, a weapon i've never used.

Samurai Soul
=================================

Where you at?! - Ancient Castle

HP: 37620
MP: 7400
LVL: 61

Steal: Murakumo, Murasame
Drops: Master's Scroll

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Poison
Absorbs: ---

Type: Humanoid
Status Immunity: Zombie, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Silence, Berserk, Sleep, Slow, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, Image, Confusion, Sap

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Assassin Blade (inflicts 'Death')

Strategy:

Monster-In-A-Box!

This boss is one of the easier of the Monsters in a Box, but should still
be taken somewhat seriously. He can toss water, lightning, and fire scrolls.
he can also use gale cut, or shockwave.

If the battle runslong then Samurai Soul will flash and will Gain Image,
Reflect, and Haste status.

Abuse his weakness to poison with Bio and he should fall quickly, just make
sure you keep healing up or he can kill you.

Cheap Tactic: Muddle the Samurai and watch him kill himself.

Pro Tip: The Masters Scroll works very well with Setzers Fixed-Dice. Once I
equipped him with it I have never taken it off. Even at low to moderate levels
setzer can do 39996 with 4 lucky shots, but look more in the 5000-11000 range.

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Stun (inflicts 'Slow')

Strategy: Each tentacle has an elemental absorbtion. You can cast Libra to
figure out who is weak to what and cast accordingly. Non elemental spells
help too, if you have them

Tentacles can hit you, or sap you. Once this happens a tentacle will grab
a character, effectivly taking that character out of battle until it feels
like letting go. I call this a friendly hug. The grasp can only be used
when a character is slowed, so hermes shoes will be of benefit, as you
cannot be slowed. A bonus is that the tentacle will then begin to absorb
health from the hugged character. Eventually the tencacle gets bored with the
love and will drop whomever it holds. They will also lose their grip if they
die.

Edgar should use Drill, Sabin can use Aura Cannon, Celes can use whatever
weakness is applicable.

Cheap Tactic: Choose an element and just blast all 4 with it. Fire is the best
as sabin has Fire Dance. Yes, one will be healed, but the rest will go down
almost at the same time. This will make this battle end much more quickly.

Absorbs: Poison, Wind, Holy, Earth, Water

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Stun (inflicts 'Slow')

Strategy:

"I am the one known as Ultima... Forged an eternity ago and left here...
Forgotten in the mists of time... Long have I pondered what I should do...
Long, long have I pondered...But now it seems I have an answer..."

A visit tothe Jail in Kefkas tower will allow you to hear the above from the
big brother of Ultima Weapon.

This beast will flash three times during this battle, and on the third he
will unleash Ultima. Otherwise He is similar in his attacks to Ultima Weapon.

Watch for Flare, Flarestar, Quake, the -aga spells, Tsunami, and Southern/
Norhter cross. There is really not many ways to prepare defences. Float will
nullify Quake, Reflect can defeat Flare and the -aga's, and ice immunity will
handle the Southern/Northern Cross.

Don't use Poison, Wind, Holy, Earth, or Water attacks. Heal as needed, use
Arise or Re-Raise as needed.

Cheap Tactic: Ultima Buster has the same weakness as Ultima Weapon. namely a
dependence on MP to survive. You can drain the monsters MP to defeat him. This
method has the added bonus of lessening his ability to toss spells around.

                 Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:

This snake/bird/roman will use many ice based attacks such as Blizzard,-ra,
-aga and freezing dust, this will freeze a character. Use fire to thaw them.
Prepare to ward against ice and you will be fine.

Use fire spells only. Valigarmanda, or as I like to call it, Valley Girl Amanda
has 250 defence, you will be lookin at 0-1 damage with physical attacks.

A pretty easy fight.

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Magic Drain (steals MP)

Strategy:

First move in the battle will be Wrexsoul possessing a companion. That
character will then take small amounts of damage over time. This leaves you
to battle the Soul Savers. These little buggers cast strong spells and will
ressurrect one another, so you need to kill them at once. Easier said than
done. Once they are dead and gone kill your possessed teammate. This will
force Wrexsoul out into the open.

Now unload ice spells as fast as you can, taking a moment to ressurrect the
sacrifical lamb of a dead character. Wrexsoul will cast spells at you and
eventually repossess a character. Without the Soul Savers to bother with you
can just start with the team killing again.

Keep doing this and you will win, welcome to the Alexander Esper!

Cheap Tactic: Banish the Soul Savers to remove them completly from the battle.

Special Attack: Tackle (300% damage)

Strategy:

Umaro in his cooler form. He can hit physically for decent damage, and if the
fight goes long enough he will pop a green cherry, enhancing his physical
prowress.

He can also use a MT Snowstorm adn tackle against you. Tackle is a physical
attack with enough damage to threaten a low armored character.

Just cast fire or use strong physical attacks. He is as pathetic a boss as he
is a character.

4.3 - Final Battle

For the Final Battle you will choose your battle order.
Battle order will set a line-up of heroes to fight the final bosses. The
First four on the list go first. If a character falls then the 5th character
in the line up will replace the fallen character. If another character falls
the 6th character will step in. And so on.

Strong hitter should be your first priority, meaning your strongest and most
well equipped characters. Followed by lesser and lesser characters.

My order would look something like:

Relm - Terra - Mog - Setzer - Celes - Locke - Shadow - Edgar - Gau -
Gogo - Strago.

If you get all the secret characters...well all two of them, you will have
to leave 2 people on the Airship.

Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Sketch, Control

Special Attack: Sapping Strike (inflicts 'Sap')

Short Arm: 27000HP
Long Arm: 33000HP

Strategy:

Ready for the first tier of the final battle? Okay.
Visage isnt too bad, he has his fists of fury and his face of...facing?

The face can cast Sapping Strike, Dread Gaze, and Reverse Polarity.
The fists can use shockwave, physical attacks, and other magics.
I think I saw a Quake Spell.

When Visage dies he casts Quake, so prepare for that.

Concentrate on the fists first as they are the real damage dealers. Drill,
magics, whatever, it's an open buffet of damage dealing for you! Once you
kill them just work the visage over, just make sure to have equipment to
absorb Earth, or cast float on everyone.

Steal: Elixir

Strategy:

Tiger can use Southern Cross and Flarestar

Machine can use Missile, Delta Attack, Gravity Bomb, Absolute Zero and
Diffractive Laser.

Magic uses the -aga spells, poison, drain, bio, flare, and other spells.

Power will use 10 hit combo on you, which hits 10 times. It's physical only so
you can evade or block all 10 seperate hits. Otherwise it just attacks.

Quake is your friend. It will do heavy damage to every part except Tiger, who
will absorb it. Quake will mess up the other three and kill it fast, leaving
you having to only deal with Tiger.

Cheap Tactic: Bad Breath, the Lore, will cripple this boss.

Rest

Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop, Haste, Shell, Safe
Vulnerable to: Nothing

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Sketch, Control

Special Attack: Repose (inflicts 'Death')

Strategy:
I would reccommend Locke or Gogo on this battle. Why? Because you can steal
the Ragnarok from Lady and Ultima Weapon from Rest.

Lady is the "White Mage" She can cast White Wind, healing 9999hp per cast and
will ressurrect Rest every time you kill her. Lady can absorb every element so
stick with non elemental damage, such as non elemental weapons and magic, eve
*shudder* Ultima.

Rest is the other half. He is more based on offence. He will cast such
spells as Meteor and Meltdown which do hurt. Even worse, he will constantly
be healed by Lady and will be ressurrected if he dies.

Finally, if rest dies for good then he will take one of the team with him,
using Repose.
Make sure you have Re-Raise on everyone if you actually want to keep your
team intact.

So you know what you are up against, now what? I'll sound like Gau;

Kill Lady Kill Rest Uwooooo!

Keep your defences up, heal when necessary, kill good.

Vulnerable to: Nothing

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Libra, Control

Special Attack: Havoc Wing (400% damage)

Strategy:

The Final Battle, Kefka and you, Man/God thing vs. Your team.
I am not going to tell you what to do to beat the mad clown, i'll
just give you some pointers and some things to watch out for.

Hyperdrive: Heavy Damage to the whole team.

Fallen One: Drops the HP of the whole team to 1

Havok Wing: Strong Physical Damage

He will also use the -aga spells, Trine, Vengance, and Ultima.

Make sure you bring resists and MDef equipment. Kefka tosses around many
many spells. Jump will be helpful here, as you can dodge his attacks. Just
hammer away at him however you would like.

Beat him and you beat the game.

Enjoy.

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Wing Sabre (300% damage)

Strategy:

The Storm Dragon is a nasty little bugger. He can use aero, which hits for
massive damage, he can just hit you, and can use his special, the unblockable,
multi target, Rage. Rage will hurt you badly and is his worst attack.

What do you do? If you already have Mog and some Dragoon Boots you can have the
Moogle and Edgar just use Jump constantly. This will keep them out of harms
way while still doing damage. If you have Gau I would use Destroyer rage. This
will cast Re-Raise quite often, an especially helpful thing in a LLG.

Everyone else should use thunder, as thats the beasts weakness.

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Hit (200% damage)

Strategy:

The Ice Dragon uses, as I am sure at least some of you can tell, Ice spells.
Blizzard,-a,-aga are his main attacks. He can also use Northern Cross...or
Southern, I can't remember. Either way it will freeze a character or two.

If a character does become frozen you can thaw them instantly with a fire
spell...just use fire, not Fira or Fireaga.

Use fire like crazy and you will win. Fur Muffler, Minerva Bustier, Fire
Shields, these are your friends.

If you feel like physical attacks a flame sword will work wonders.

Cheap Tactic: Bad Breath it and Forget it. The dragon can be muted, blinded,
poisoned, etc. Once you muzzle the thing it's a cakewalk.

Strategy:

Blue dragon is a water dragon. It will cast Flash Rain, Aqua Rake, and the
like. Watch out for Rippler if you have Shadow as it will permanently steal
Interceptor.

Use Thunder spells against him. Imp armor can absorb water spells, your're set.
Gau will once again have use in Aspiran rage. It absorbs water and uses
Gigavolt.

Holy Dragon
===================================

Where you at?!: The Kefka Cult Tower

HP: 18500
MP: 12000
LVL: 71

Steal: Holy Lance, X-Potion
Drops: ---

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: ---
Absorbs: Holy

Status Immunity: Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom, Critical
                 Image, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Zombie, MagiTek, Silence, Slow, Stop

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Hit (150% damage)

Strategy:
Easiest boss fight in any game. Seriously. Cast mute, you win. Wear reflect
rings, you win (it'll take longer).

Oh, and the dragon can cast Dispel...OH NOES!

Holy Dragon absorbs holy and only attacks with Holy. Mute it and it's useless.
Reflect it's holy spell and it heals it'self, but doesn't hurt you.

Red Dragon
==================================

Where you at?!: Phoenix (not Arizona) Cave

HP: 30000
MP: 1780
LVL: 67

Steal: ---
Drops: Murakumo

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Ice, Water
Absorbs: Fire

Status Immunity: Zombie, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
                 Critical, Silence, Berserk, Sleep, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, Image, Confusion, Sap, Slow

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Eraser (unblockable; standard damage, removes 'Reflect')

Strategy:

Fire is a friend of this Dragon. It uses Fire,-a,-aga and will cast lvl4 Flare
at times. All of it's attacks can be ignored with an ice shield and levels that
are not multiples of 4.

Use Blizzard magic and water magic. Tridents and Jump, Gaus Chimera Rage. etc,

Generally if you are protected from fire you won't lose. Ice Shields, even
Reflect will serve well.

Pro Tip: Lockes back, go raid Narshe!

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Earth Dragon
====================================

Where you at?!: Opera House

HP: 28500
MP: 16500
LVL: 53

Steal: X-Potion
Drops: Magus Rod

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Wind, Water
Absorbs: ---

Status Immunity: Zombie, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom, Critical
                 Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Stop
Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, MagiTek, Image, Sleep, Slow

Inherent Status: Float
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Honed Tusk (500% damage)

Strategy:

Earth Dragon will use earth attacks (shocking). expect quake, and Magnitude
8. He can also hit like a truck with Honed Tusk.

It is reccommended that you cast float in this battle. This will let you
avoid his stronger attacks. Just be prepared to cast it again as the dragon
isn't stupid and will cast a spell called 50g. This will dispel your float.

For attacks you can use Tridents with Jump, as Tridents are Water Elemental,
which is this dragons weakness. Cast Leviathan, use Gaus Chimera rage. Heal as
needed.

Cheap Strategy: Use Angel Wings on everyone. Earth Dragon will waste turns with
50g's to try and dispell your relic induced float.

Cheap Strategy: Still have Gaia gear? Equip that and all those quakes that the
Earth Dragon casts will heal you.

Gold Dragon
===================================

Where you at?!: Kefka's Tower

HP: 32400
MP: 4000
LVL: 62

Steal: ---
Drops: Crystal Orb

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Water
Absorbs: Lightning

Status Immunity: Zombie, MagiTek, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death, Doom
Critical, Silence, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Vulnerable to: Darkness, Poison, Image, Berserk

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Control

Special Attack: Hit (400% damage)

Strategy:

Lightning is pretty much all you have to expect. Thunder Shields, Force
Shields and Armor, Minerva Bustier, etc, will make this a cake walk.

For attacks you can use Tridents with Jump, as Tridents are Water Elemental,
which is this dragons weakness. Cast Leviathan, use Gaus Chimera rage.

This is a very basic and easy battle.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Skull Dragon
====================================

Where you at?!: Kefka's Tower

HP: 32800
MP: 1999
LVL: 62

Steal: ---
Drops: Muscle Belt

Immune To: ---
Weak Against: Fire, Holy
Absorbs: Poison

Status Immunity: Darkness, Zombie, Poison, Invisible, Imp, Petrify, Death
Critical, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Sap, Sleep, Slow
                 Stop
Vulnerable to: MagiTek, Doom, Image

Inherent Status: None
Other Immunity: Meteor Strike, Control

Special Attack: Hit (unblockable; effect unknown)

Strategy:

The Skull Dragon is not undead, contrary to it's appearance. Skull uses
Doom, which can be ignored with a Safty Bit, Momento Ring, Lich Ring or
re-raise. Also, any of Gau's undead rages will get around this. Skull can
also use Will o' the wisp and his most powerful move "Disaster" which is
an insta-kill if it hits. Lucky us it rarely does.

For offence use fire and pearl. Edgar and Mog can leap with a holy lance,
Illumina does tons of damage, or you can use Fire 3, Holy, or Merton if
properly prepared.

Gau, with the Lich Ring, can use his Holy Dragon rage and cast Holy for free
often without having to worry about doom.

4.5 - Why aren't they bosses?

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Sometimes you come across a monster that is so powerful it's like a boss fight.
These monsters reign supreme in whatever area they choose to live. I am going
to list them in no particular order.

These guys are random and never need to be battled. No stats or strategies,
just some names to look out for.

=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=

Intangir-

This big fellow abosrbs every element and is immune to most status effects.
He has a boatload of HP and MP, and has nice defence.

In addition if you kill him he launches a salvo of meteors against his slayer.

Cactaur-

This little guy only has 3hp but makes up for it with near perfect defence
and magic defence, attach to that a perfect evasion and you aren't hitting him,
but he can hit you! 1000 needles does a guaranteed unblockable 1000 damage to a
character. Unless you are creative he will poke you to death.

Brachiosaur-

Rare and drops the celestriad relic. Starts with Disaster, which has a low
chance of hitting but is an auto kill. He can also hit multiple targets with a
powerful physical attack called Tail. In addition he can cast the mighty Ultima
spell. He carries a ton of HP and defence. I consider this monster one of
the biggest challenges in the game.

------------------
5.0 - Frequently Asked Questions
------------------

Q: How early can I get all the sweet Treasure from Kefkas Tower?

A: Get Mog, get his Molulu charm and go raid Kefkas tower. Celes with a Minerva
Bustier is a wonderful thing. Same goes for Setzer with his fixed Dice.

Q: Where's Mog?

A: Same place he was in the World of Balance, in the Narshe Mines. As soon as
you get the Airship just fly to Narshe and battle your way to the mines.
Narshe is overrun with monsters this time. You can take the back entrance
through the mines, or go the same way Terra did, through the old mans
house.

Q: Where is Molulus Charm?

A: Once you re-obtain Mog press A on the spot he was standing, against the
wall.

Q: How do I rig my slots?

A: Rigging Slots: Normally the Jokes Death attack from getting 777 on Setzers
slot command is rigged against you, meaning you have little chance of ever
getting it naturally. You can, though, rig your chances.

Note: Joke Death kills anything, even those things immune to death. Yes,
This means undead, bosses, even final Kefka.

-Echo Screen: Use an echo screen on Setzer, this unlocks the 777 for your use.
Now it's just up to you to actually get it.

-Casting: Have a character cast any spell, and as the name of the spell
appears on the screen and the character begins the casting animation you
get your first 7 on the Slots. THis 7 must be gotten before the name of the
spell dissapears from the screen. Now the other two 7's are unlocked for
you. Same as above, the actual getting it is up to you.

Q: How do I use the Psyco Cyan glitch?

A: Psyco Cyan: Kill Cyan, Bring him back to life, have him use his lvl 2
Bushido and then imp him. THe next time an action is taken Cyan will lose
his friggin mind and start to attack, constantly, non stop. You don't get
to take any more turns, nor does the monster. Cyan will slowly beat whatever
it is he is attacking to death. Combine this with his swords with the built
in Wind Slash, the Tempest, and you will be breaking wind and skulls.

Q: What's an easy way to kill MP dependant bosses?

A: Stand and don't gun: If you are under leveled and you are fighting a boss
with MP fuled attacks that you can't run from then just do nothing. Perhaps
you can heal if needed. See, generally bosses will start using nastier and
nastier spells as their HP drops (I'm looking at you Ultima Weapon). If you
don't harm them then they will waste MP on their weaker spells. Now they are
meek squirrels to your smiting might.

Q: How do I make gold for the Excalipoor and get enough AP to learn spells?

A: Need cash, AP, or experience in the World of Ruin?

The desert just below Maranda houses Cactaurs, which give up 10000 gold and
a whopping 10AP per kill. The buggers have high Def, MDef, and evade so use
weapons that ignore defence and a snipers eye relic. or better yet use Setzer
and his Fixed Dice. It's an auto kill.

Speaking of Cactaurs, stay away from the left side of the desert or you will
end up battling the daddy cactaur, Gigantaur. He is an esper, and he is
powerful.

Also, look for the Slag Worms. They give a respectable 5AP a nice amount of
exp, and 10000 gold per kill. The best part? They are susceptable to death
spells.]

Above the Veldt is a small dinosaur shaped forest. In here are the mighty
Tyranosaur. These beasts fling Meteor and do respectable physical damage.
The dinos give excellent exp.

In addition there are rare Brachiosaur. These monsters cast Ultima and will
randomly sneeze your teammates away. They can also do a multi target hit with
Tail. If you beat one you get excellent exp. You also have a chance of getting
a celestriad.

Q: Why did you stop mentioning Gau?

A: I don't know, I just did.

Q: Do you8 like me? Yes No Maybe

A: Yes
