I just started playing this game yesterday and i wanted to know how do we get to mauville city(the one after rosboro). Do I need cut to cut the trees in the trick master guys house?

No. Just go toward the Trick House, then take a right. From there, just follow the path and, TA-DA!
No, although you need cut for other things. All the Trick Master does is let you get experience, good items, and enjoyment.
