When does a Clamperl evolve?

Clamperl must be holding the DeepSeaTooth or DeepSeaScale. The DeepSeaTooth lets Clamperl evolve into Huntail and the DeepSeaScale lets Clamperl evolve into Gorbyss. When it is holding one of them trade it and it will evolve.

Well... You need a deepseatooth to evolve it into....Huntail Or You need a deepseascale for it to evolve into Golbass you get 1 off captian stern for finding the scanner on the abanaered ship the other one you have to get by trade hope I helped

Clamperl is a "Trade Evolution" Pokemon.

You'll need to trade it while holding one of the following two items:

Deepseatooth (to get a Huntail) or

Deepseascale (to get a Gorebyss)

The only wayt o get a clamperl to eveolve is to have a deepsea tooth or deepsea scale and make it hold it and trade it

Um...it doesnt evolve at a certain level. It has to be holding a Deepseatooth or Deepseascale, when it's holding one of them and you trade it with somebody..it will evolve in two a certain Pokemon depending on what item it's holding.

Deepseascale; Gorbeyss(This one is Pink)

Hint: You get one of these items from Capt. Stern.

You either get the DeepSeaTooth or DeepSeaScale from Capt. Stern then give either one to you lvl 52 Clampearl. Then you trade it. Then it envolves.

Clampearl evolves when it's traded. It will evolve into HUNTAIL when it's traded with the DEEP SEA TOOTH ATTATCHED, or you can evolve it into GORBYSS with the DEEP SEA SCALE ATTATCHED when traded.

Go to the Abaandoned Ship between dewford and slateport. Here you have to find all room keys by finding the glittering things after yopu dive to the other part of the ship. In one of the rooms there is a scanner, take this to capt stern in slateport and he will give you an item. When clamperl is traded while holding this it will eolve.v
