What you do is catch a flying type train it to learn stuff like Wing Attack and face Brawly {not sure of spelling}

If you mean what type has the advantage over Brawly's pokemon, than Flying and Phychic pokemon are the way to go.

No, the BEST way to defeat Brawly is to catch a SABLEYE from the nearby cave, it works everytime as none of brawly's Pokemon can attack SABLEYE apart from MEDITITE, try it, its the best way. it always works!!!!!!!!
