How do I catch Zapdos because I battled him twice and I got nothing. Thanks to anyone who answers.

Sorry, but it will take longer than just 2 battles with it. It took me about 5 or 6 tries to make him join my team.
Try and keep battling it. If you need it, get a Friend Bow and attach it to your Leader, that will give you a 10% boost of recruiting Zapdos.
I'm adding my own answer to my question. Go to Mt. Thunder with 1 Pokemon (a fire type suggested) and battle him like 3 times. Works for the other birds.
If you have lvl 40+ or a friend bow it should be done in 1-2 fights.
If you don't have that then train some
If you have it but it doesn't work then you have to check if you have enough room in your team
It takes more or less battle depend on your luck and your leader Pokemon level, to increase the chance you should level up and attach the Friend Bow to the leader
I heard this from someone but if you battle him and he accepts to be part of your team does that mean he gives you the friend area Legendary Island or not. Thanx to those who answer
Takes more than Just 2 battles. :| My Pokemon Raichu is leve 51. And I have friend bow. And if you are that high of a lvl it's easy to Beat him. Just need more chances of Getting him. :3
I'm battleing him with a friend bow AND articuno I still didn't get him he keeps flashing and dies
Beat him like 10 times but when I beat him I turn off and go back to save point and keep trying although moltres took 1 try haven't tried articuno yet :P
