Paralysis is weird

So I started playing Pokemon firered again,I've played the game completely atleast 10 times,but for some reason recently I get stuck in paralysis,I know it's not supposed to affect you 100% of the time,but I go 20 turns in a row where I'm paralyzed,and it's not just for one specific Pokemon,I had to reload from an old spot because of how messed up it became....it's really ticking me off

Try to save the state of the game in both emulator and game if you play on ios or android and avoid cheats during that time
