Question for Pokemon FireRed

What happens if you cheat, like use code to get national pokedex early in the game? Will anything go wrong will you still be Able to fight elite four? Please reply because I have cyndqial and it won't evolve because I need the national pokedex.

I believe that if you use the National Pokedex, you will re-enable that flag, and Prof Oak will skip the whole scene about giving you the Pokedex, and allowing you access to the other islands.


Also, that is really interesting. I don't think having a Pokedex, will stop evolutions from happening. Are you playing this on real hardware or emulation? I have seen some cases where rom dumpers, modify the code to pervent X things. If you're running emulation, I suggest getting a real copy(because a: support the company, and b: you legally own the game, so you can make a backup from the game.)

Hey thanks for your answer!! I'm playing on the iPhone the emulator gpsphone. The reason I wanted to cheat was because I have cyndiqal and when he gona Evolve at level 14 it stops alone and say ...? I didn't press anything. And also I'm using some cheats some work some don't how come? I'm trying to use cheats to get TM but when I check on the pc to withdraw it it's not there.
