Many fake ROMs play just like the regular game. In the regular game, you obtain a key from one of the Rocket Members after defeating them. This key allows you to use the elevator.
The only way to walk through walls is by a cheat code. Cheat codes are a little difficult when is comes to fake ROMs. Try using Pokemon FireRed Cheat Codes, if you really want to do the cheat. Use at your own risk though.
