I heard on other websites that you can't get shining Pokemon in fire red and leaf green. Is it true or can you find shining pokemon?

I found a shiny gastly it's nature it's naive it evolved into a shiny haunter it's very rare to find some times it would just pop out

Yeah you can, I've started my fire red 4 times and leaf green 2 times and in all the games I started I found 1 shiney spearow (gold wings) and 2 shiney Garados (red like in G/S/C) but it is VERY rare so I would recamend you don't look 4 them but just keep yor eyes open

I found a shiney metapod but I couldent catch it because I had no pokeballs. Keep lots of them wit u!
