1. I have heard you can do this, but I'm pretty sure it involves using a 'ditto' pokemon. The Idea is to get any Pokemon (maybe you have to use two ditto's) and give it an item, and breed it with a ditto... Then the baby is hatched holding the item... I have never tried this, but I will. And when I do, I will come back to you about this in the hints/cheats section for these games.

2. I'm pretty sure you can, just use the one for gameboy advance, because the general 'programming' for these machines is the same. But maybe there's someone more wualified to answer this on here...

3. I really don't think there is anything special... You make the alphabet and I think there are two others, exclamation and question marks... 4. Can you catch Raikou? Well, that really depends on whether you chose Squirtle as a Starter or not. You get a choice of which legendary dog you want at the start. If you pick squirtle, you get raikou, pick Charmander you get Suicune, you pick Bulbasaur you get Entei. You will get the dog that is type-strong against your Starter Pokemon.

If you have chosen Squirtle, you will have to defeat the Elite Four. It sounds like you have already done this, so Raikou should be roaming around in the wild. You will have to encounter him like a regular pokemon. Hunt in tall grass. You will not encounter raikou in caves or on water, and I don't think you encounter him in the sevii isles...then make sure you use your Master Ball on it. It is the only roaming Pokemon in this game (along with Entei and Suicune) and it will run away when you encounter it, also if you accidentally knock it out, chances are you will not have saved soon before encountering it, and will have to look for it again in the wild. Use your masterball on roaming Pokemon legendaries.

5. Give the up-grade to your porygon and Trade it. You will get a porygon-2 (get a porygon from the Game Corner prize room by paying a fair few coins)
