What do you do when the item finder starts shaking rapidly
When I activate the item finder and then I get to the place where it starts shaking rapidly I activate it again when I'm on the place where it starts shaking rapidly nothing happen. Do I need to use the tm dig or something?

When this is happening, I believe all you must do is click the A Button to pickup the item in front of you.

It happen to me when you do it it means more than 1 item is on the floor

If the Itemfinder is shaking rapidly, it doesn't mean that you're ontop of the item, it means that you are right next to it. Face empty tiles and press A to discover where the item is.
The only places that the itemfinder will get you items when you're ontop of them are the 8th gym (where Giovanni was standing) and the top of Lavender tower (right where you saved Mr. Fuji)
