Question for Pokemon Emerald

Can I evolve Clamperl into gorebyss(yes I have a deepseascale and my clamperl holds it) without trading it?
PS: Is there any code I should put?

Calmperl can only evolve into Gorebyss when traded with the Deepseascale. It's the only way.

However, you can obtain Gorebyss by a Cheat Code or Trade.
