You're welcome. ^_^

Ok. First of all, you need Grass types. Grass is Swampert's only weakness. Ludicolo is a good choice since he's both Water/Grass he won't take x2 from ice. Quagsire is also a good choice, but stick to Ludicolo for now. There's no possible way of finding Jirachi or Deoxys unless you use Gameshark or trade for one. You know the river that runs up the route to the Weather Institute? Try the lake where it empties out. Surf to the small island with the lone trainer and fish there. Good luck!

Dragon Pokemon are weak against dragon moves, so using a dragon move with a dragon Pokemon against salamence will generate a super effective move, that is extra powerful.

But be careful, it goes both ways. Your dragon Pokemon will also be weak against salamence and it's dragon moves.

An Ice Pokemon of similar level should fare much better against salamence, at the very least, equip a strong ice move to one of your other pokemon.

Jirachi cannot be obtained from any regular game, you can win it for transfer from a game called "pokemon channel" for gamecube, but you can only transfer it to a copy of Ruby or Sapphire that have had the Elite four and champion beaten within that game. And you must have played the Pokemon channel game entirely through too, which takes about three to five days depending on your dedication.

Deoxys is a special event Pokemon and can only be obtained in this way, (a giveaway at stores after the game release)

Feebas is incredibly difficult to find, keep trying. There are six possible squares feebas can be found upon, which change depending on the trendy phrase in Dewport. But feebas has a 50% occurrence rate on those spots it is present.

A good strategy I find is battling with dual type Pokemon, catering for that Pokemon type's weakness with adequate moves.

Ludicolo looks like a good match up against swampert because grass has the advantage against ground and water I do not know about quagsire so... Against which ever tucker the I have only battled the dome ace tucker once and won If your ludicolo is strong enough to beat swampert and uses charizard or metagross charazard is easy for ludicolo because it is water also this could be your time to win

ItaKure answered:

I recommend electric type pokemon against Tucker
