Question for Metriod Fusion

How do you get to the target in the task Engage Serris? I am exactly at the save station below it. How do I get to the target?

If I follow the map to get to the target, there is a place that has straws all over it blocking to get me to the target.

How do you break straw the straws or whatever it is called or what is the other way to get there if I am not doing it right?

Your'e not doing it right. (Starting from the beggining of the sector) Youv'e got to continue going left until you reach a room where there's electrified water below you, a passage above you and a door to the left. Go up. Continue upwards until you reach a door to your'e right. Enter, and you will be able to save. Now look to your'e right. There should be a cracked block on the right side of the save station. Shoot it, and pass through it. Continue going right. You should pass a large room with a big skeleton in a tank of water. Get rid of that big eye whosamadingydong and pass into the next room. (you should be underwater) Jump onto the ladder to your'e upper-left and run across the pathway. Serris should appear at a high speed. Hope this helps you. Good luck!
