I can't get the other herbs Professor Snape asked me to get because I can't open the gates with locks and I have chosen Hermione as my partner to get the herbs. Since she doesn'y possess any tricks to open locked gates, what should I do to get ron or to open the gates?

Ron is the one who knows Alohamora I think it's spelled. There is another way around...just keep looking.

Don't try using the door, that is for the alternate path with Ron and Hermione. The door is through the right path, you might want to take the left path, it will lead to spiderwebs, have Harry cast diffindo.
