Mystery events hints and tips for Pokemon Ruby

Mystery events

You can unlock the option Mystery event in the main menu BEFORE you start your game. You have to;

1. Go to Petalburg city

2.Go inside the Pokemon Center

3.Talk to the guy by the PC

4.Let him see your profie

5.Say MYSTERY EVENT IS EXITING

He will then say you're in some type of club. When he finishes, save the game, then turn the gameboy off. Turn it back on and after you press start, you will see the option "Mystery events" on the menu. But I think you need to link up with someone because every time I pick it, the game always says "link standby"
