Go to Pewter city then go up to the Pewter Museum of Science. But DON'T go into the main Entrance, cut though the tree and go into the house next door.

There should be 2 men at computers, 1 at the counter and 1 by the table talk to the one by the table he should give you an old amber, take it to the Pokemon Lab on Cinnabar Island take it to the man in the white coat in the testing room (The 3rd room).

He'll say: 'your late' keep talking to him when he asks for the Amber give it to him, then go out the lab then go back in and talk to him he'll give you back an Aerodactyl at Level 5.
