First of all you have to beat the Pokemon leage twice and have the national dex from prof. Oak. Nos this is how it works:

*first you should have a hm03 sufr, hm04 strength and hm06 rocksmash

* in cerulean city, pass the bridge and use surf until you reach a land then go inside the.

*iinside the cave thers ladders go inside the one in the middle, it should lead you to your destination.

*by using your instinks find you way to mewtwo. Mewtwo is in the corner standing on a rock

* I suggest that you bring a Pokemon that knows thunderwave or sleeppowder, this should make mewtwo paralyzed or fall asleep.

* now use a Pokemon that is below lv70 but not below lv60 beacuse mewtwo is at lv 70 when I caught him. Damage mewtwo with weak attack that should make mewtwo very at a very low hp. But don't kill mewtwo or you will start again.

* I suggest tha you bring couple oo ultrab ball like 20 to 30. Do not use a masterball if you don't have a cheat device like me! I caught metwo by just throwing 3 ultraballs, no kiding, legendary birds are more harder to catch than mewtwo.
