Weak isn't always easy.

Some people will see a weak Trainer (through the usual game or wireless or link cable) and just use anything to win of they have a stronger Pokemon. I laughed when my friend lost against the first gym leader, when he had a level 26 Marshtomp. (He kept loosing, so he kept training like crazy)

It's because he thought he could win anyways, so he just paid no attention and just used moves.

But no, he did not win. He was 1., Not paying any attention to what type or Pokemon he was up against. And 2, he thought he could win just because his Pokemon was at a higher level. This is for ALL Pokemon games that involve battling. Remember to always pay attention, and not just throw moves at the opponent because you have a higher level Pokemon then the foe does.
