Shining Pok'emon Starters

This is a very clever way to get shining versions of the starter Pok'emon in Emerald(shining Pok'emon are special kinds that flash in different colors, and are accompanied by a passing star at the beginning of battle). First, when Professor Birch is being chased by the Zigzagoon, walk up to the bag and SAVE.

Then, choose the Pok'emon you want to be the shining Pok'emon. If it is not shining, simple; press A+B+select+start at the same time. Your game will quick-restart. Repeat the process again until you find a shining Pok'emon!

P.S. This will take a while. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

P.S.S. This cheat can also be used to find a hard-to-get female type, useful for breeding.

P.S.S.S. This cheat works for Legendary Pok'emon, too. You can get a Black Rayquaza this way!

P.S.S.S.S. When working with Shining Latois/Latias, you must save before you talk to your mom and find out about the Pok'emon on TV. Repeat.
