I have played Mega Man since literally the day I can remember. The first Mega
Man game I can remember playing is Mega Man 2 on the NES. The first Robot
Master I can remember fighting is Wood Man, which makes him one of my favorite
Robot Masters. Mega Man has always been my favorite video game icon since I
was a kid. I own every American released Classic Mega Man and Mega Man X game.
I don't really play the other series' though.

I decided to write this FAQ for anyone who hasn't been into Mega Man for very
long and wants to better themselfs at fighting the Robot Masters with only the
Mega Buster. I decided to include some videos of me fighting the Robot Masters
just incase you can't understand what I am saying in this FAQ, you will have a
visual example to go off of. I hope this guide helps you!
I have covered all the Robot Master Battles from Mega Man's 1 - 10, Mega Man &
Bass. The Stardroids from Mega Man V, the Mega Man Killers, the Doc Robots
from Mega Man 3, and Bonus Battles against Mega Man Himself, Dark Man, and
Fake Man I hope this guide helps you out! If you don't understand what I am
saying in this FAQ, then follow the links after each Robot Master description
to see a video of me personally taking out the Robot Masters, hopefully a

3/12/2010 - Started writing the guide, finished writing all the battles from
Mega Man 1 & 2.
3/13/2010 - Continued writing the guide. finished writing all the battles from
Mega Man's 3 - 5. Also changed writing program from Wordpad to
Notepad.
3/14/2010 - Finished writing Mega Man 6 & 7 Robot Master Battles. Started
Recording Mega Man 8 Robot Masters, finished them.
3/17/2010 - Went through and made sure everything was formatted correctly &
wrote some strategys for the Mega Man 8 Robot Masters.
4/12/2010 - Recorded Mega Man V Stardroid Battles and Mega Man Killer Battles.
4/15/2010 - Finished writing Mega Man 8 Robot Master Descriptions and wrote
Mega Man 9, Mega Man & Bass, Mega Man V, Mega Man Killers, Doc
Robots, and Bonus Battle Descriptions.
4/16/2010 - Finished writing all the Mega Man 10 Robot Master descriptions and
double checked the links and battle times.

----------------------------------MEGA MAN V----------------------------------

Ah, the amazing finale to the Gameboy Mega Man's. Very different from all the
other Classic Mega Man Games and also the only one to not have Dr. Wily as the
final boss. Also the first to have Boss's that aren't ____ Man. Also the first
one to have Tango, Mega Man's Cat.
------Mercury------
Difficulty: 4/10
Grab Buster----- 2
Blob Collision-- 2
Mercury's Main attack is his Grab Buster weapon, which can steal even E-Tanks!
First thing is first, when the fight starts shoot as soon as you can, and jump
over the grab buster shot. He should transform into a Blob like form and litte
pieces of him will jump to the other side of the room. Slide under them to
avoid them. Prepare a Charged shot while you are dodging them. After all 3
have formed together again he will return to his normal state. Fire off the
Charged Shot as soon as he has transformed back into his Normal state to keep
him from using his Grab Buster. Now he will return to his Blob form and slide
along the ground to the other side of the room, leaving 2 blobs to jump over
and one against the right wall, so jump over them to the left while preparing
a charged shot and when he returns to his normal state unleash the charged
shot and repeate from the beginning.

Mercury's fight is from 0:01 - 0:49
------Venus------
Difficulty: 7/10
Venus is one of the harder Stardroids to fight Mega Buster only, but he is
still pretty easy. He is somewhat unpredictable, but he has 3 main attacks. He
will jump high and shoot a small bubble that will try and track down Mega Man,
just destroy the bubble with a Normal Shot. He will sometimes jump to the
middle of the room and leave a Bubble Bomb, stand back and shoot it with a
Normal Shot to avoid being caught in it's explosion. The only other thing he
does is he will sometimes shoot a small bubble while edgeing closer to you,
just destroy it with a Normal Shot. Overall he isn't too hard.

Venus's fight is from 0:50 - 1:20
------Mars------
Difficulty: 7/10
First thing is first. He will start out by shooting 3 Photon Missiles one
after another, slide under the first one then slide back a little, then slide
under the next one then slide back a little and then slide under the third one
and then slide back. While sliding back and forth prepare a charged shot and
hit him with it after the third Photon Missile. After that stand near the left
wall and rapid fire to avoid being hit by his rapid fire projectiles. Next he
will charge across the room, leaving behind 2 mines. Hit the one closest to
him with a charged shot and let the other one detonate on its own while you
prepare another charged shot. Hit him with it once he has revealed his face
again. Now slide to the right and start rapid firing at him to the left to
avoid being hit by his rapid fire projectiles again. Now he will shoot 1
Photon Missile, slide under it like before, and hit him afterwards. Now he
should fire a homing missile, destroy the missile when it gets near you with a
normal shot and slide under the next photon missile and repeate for another
turn. Now he should slide across the room again leaving behind 2 mines, just
repeate what you did before.

Mars' fight is from 1:21 - 1:54
------Jupiter------
Difficulty: 5/10
Jupiter is one of the easier Stardroids to fight with the Mega Buster. He will
always fly around at the top for a few seconds before hiring off his electic
shock attack, once that attack is done, he will fire 4 shots downward that
kind of spread out a little bit, then he will come down then go back up. What
you will want to do is stay on the other end of the area from him, so long as
you are far enough away nothing he does should hit you. Try to lure him into
going the wrong way then slide away from him, then when he comes down fire off
a charged shot at him and repeate.

Jupiter's fight is from 1:55 - 2:52
------Saturn------
Difficulty: 6/10
Saturn isn't too hard when you learn what to do. He only really has three
attacks he does. The first one he will throw the ring around him and then
slide to the other side of the room and catch the ring with his body. To avoid
this, just jump over him as he slides and slide away to give yourself room. He
can also pull you closer to him using the ring, if he does this, charge up the
Mega Buster and fire a fully charged shot at him. It will cause your shot to
be stuck in the ring, but once he has stopped trying to pull you to him, the
shot will connect. Lastly he will jump to the center of the room and freeze
you in place and then fire shots around him in a circle motion. To avoid this,
stand under him when you see him jump to the middle of the room.

Saturn's fight is from 2:53 - 3:31
------Uranus------
Difficulty: 7/10
It is pointless to use Charged Shots on Uranus, because they do the same
ammount of damage to him as Normal Shots do, so just stick to rapid firing
at him throughout this battle. When the battle starts he will pick up one of
the blocks from the floor and throw it at you, slide under it or jump over it
to avoid it. Now try to stand somewhat close to him and slide under him when
he jumps across the room. Now he should stomp on the floor causing an
avalanche of bricks to fall on the right side of the room (Which is a one hit
kill to you). So stand next to him as he does this. After that he should pick
up another brick from the floor and throw it at you, again, slide under it or
jump over it and then slide under him when he jumps to the other side of the
room and repeate.

Uranus' fight is from 3:32 - 3:58
------Neptune------
Difficulty: 6/10
Neptune isn't that hard, he only really has 2 attacks. When the fight starts
he will jump across the room, he always takes 3 jumps to go from one side of
the room to the other, just slide under him to avoid collision damage. Once he
has reached the side of the room he was jumping to he will either jump over
and over causing salt water to drip from the ceiling, just move left and right
to avoid it, you can't slide because of the room shaking. He will either do
that or he will fire a ball of salt water, which will splash into 3 smaller
drops of salt water, just slide away to avoid it. Overall he is pretty easy.

Neptune's fight is from 3:59 - 4:27
------Pluto------
Difficulty: 7/10
Pluto is somewhat fast, but so long as you learn his pattern you can dodge it
easiely. At the start of the fight he will shoot 2 projectiles at you, either
jump or slide to avoid the first one and jump over the second one, next he
will dash at you and then wall jump from the left wall to the right wall and
back to the left one and shoot 3 projectiles at you. Slide to avoid them. Now
he will drop down from the wall and repeate the same thing from the left side
of the room, just do the same thing you did before.
