Hello peeps and welcome to my Conker's Pocket Tales FAQ. I have worked on
this guide on and off for almost a year now. The FAQ isn't that large, it's
just that I never really got into a good pattern of writing. If I was really
concentrating I could have got this done and dusted within a week. Having
said this, it's not like there is a mad rush for an FAQ for this game, so I
guess there was no rush.

Okay, so what is the game about? Well Conker the squirrel may be a familiar
sight to some of you. He first hit our screens in 1997's Diddy Kong Racing 
as a playable driver. This game, Pocket Tales, was his second appearance. 
His finest hour came in the 2001 hit Conker's Bad Fur Day, a game which has
gone on to become a cult classic. Mainly due to it's violent, sweary nature
and the controversy that it caused. Unfortunately, Pocket Tales is much more
subdued and came 2 years before Conker had his bad fur day. Don't get me
wrong, I love this game, but it isn't laugh-a-minute.

"Surprise!" cheered Berri and friends as Conker stared  speechlessly at the
mountain of presents before him. "Happy Birthday Conker!"

He thanked them heartily, jumping up and down as he eyed the stash of gifts.

"Hold on", said Berri stepping between the squirrel and his birthday hoard.
"There's something else you have to do first..." She gave a whistle, and in
came a trolley bearing the biggest birthday cake  Conker had ever seen.

"Wow, Berri!  This is great!", he exclaimed.

But Berri was frowning.  "Hang on," she said suspiciously, "this isn't the
one I made..."

Suddenly the fake cake burst open with a crash.  A bulky figure sprang up
from the wreckage, cackling as it landed amidst the presents and started
gathering them up for itself. "Hey!" Berri squealed at the intruder.  "What
do you think  you're...YIKES!"

Quick as a flash, their uninvited guest turned on Berri and grabbed her under
one arm, even as it turned to flee with its haul of goodies.

"Conker!", came Berri's suddenly-panicked voice.

But by the time Conker had pushed through the stunned crowd and made it to
the door, the Evil Acorn and his captive were nowhere to be seen...

Conker is a red (that is European all you Americans) squirrel. Years before
a bad fur day, Conker is a mild-natured creature. His girlfriend Berri has
thrown a surprise party for him. The game time is set on his birthday! His
mission is to recover Berri, who has been kidnapped by the Evil Acorn.


  B e r r i

Girlfriend of Conker. She becomes the damsel in distress when the Evil Acorn
kidnaps her.


  E v i l  A c o r n

The Evil Acorn is grey in colour. He has stolen all of Conkers' presents, as
well as kidnapping Berri. He has set up a number of obstacles and enemies
to hinder Conker's progress.


  A c o r n s

There are a number of Acorns to be found throughout the game. Speak to them.
They are friendly and will help you with your quest. An important Acorn is
the Forest Guardian. You will have to speak to him often.

Pressing the relevant direction will move Conker around the map. It will move
Conker around in water also. Additionally it is used in mini-games to control
cursors etc. Double tap the D-Pad to make Conker run.


  A  B u t t o n

Use this to jump. It can also be used in lue of the B button in some tasks
such as swimming. This will also bring up the proceeding screen during a
conversation. Double tap A to stomp.

  B  B u t t o n
���������������������������������������������
Use this as an action button to swim, push boxes etc. It's main use however
is to attack enemies. Pressing the B button will shoot a Conker from the 
Slingshot.


  S e l e c t

The Select button is used to dig and to dive into deep water. This is a
auxiliary action button.

Pause the game.

Double tap the D-Pad to make Conker run. You can only run in straight lines
and not around corners.


  J u m p i n g

Conker will need to jump over certain things during the game, such as pits.
You will jump much further if you are running before you jump. Double tap
the A button to stomp.


  S w i m m i n g
���������������������������������������������
Use the Diving Mask to swim. Press the A or B button to swim quickly.


  A t t a c k i n g
���������������������������������������������
Press the B button to fire a Conker from your Slingshot. These are used to
defeat enemies.


  D i g g i n g
���������������������������������������������
Stand on a darkened patch of dirt and press the Select button. Conker will
dig down into the ground and reappear at another darkened patch of dirt.


  D i v i n g
���������������������������������������������
Similar to digging, if you see a patch of darkened water press the Select
button. Conker will dive down underwater and you will have a new area to
explore. This ability requires the Diving Mask to utilise.

|                           WHAT IS HARMFUL TO CONKER?                      |

All enemies in the game are harmful to Conker in some way. These should
either be avoided or killed using the Slingshot. For more information on
enemies see the Enemies Guide.

There are stationary things that are harmful too. If Conker stands on spikes,
he will be harmed. If he falls down a hole, he will be harmed. I think you
get the idea.

Anything that hurts Conker will only take off 1 Health Acorn at a time. There
is nothing that will take multiple acorns.

  A z t e c  K e y

There are two of these to be found. One in the Mako Islands and the other in
Claw Swamp. Together they will open the Aztec Temple.


  B l u e  P r e s e n t

Finding Blue Presents is the aim of the game. You will need to find all 8
Blue Presents in an area before you can proceed to the next. 


  C o n k e r
���������������������������������������������
Conkers are ammo for the Slingshot. Use these to defeat enemies.


  D i v i n g  M a s k
���������������������������������������������
Defeat Sol and Luxo in Vultureville to gain this item. With it you can
dive down into deep water.


  E n g i n e
���������������������������������������������
Earn this by completing the Hurdling With Honker mini-game in the Mako
Islands. Use this to build your boat.


  G o l d
���������������������������������������������
Complete the Pan For Gold mini-game in Vultureville to earn this. Give it
to the Vulture Culture and they will clear the path to the Evil Acorn for
you.


  H e a l t h  A c o r n
���������������������������������������������
Health Acorns act as Conker's health. Every time you collect a Health Acorn,
Conker's health will increase by one.

  I n v i t a t i o n s
���������������������������������������������
These are white, spinning bits of paper. They're pretty much the same as the
Red Present, so see below for more info.


  K e y
���������������������������������������������
Throughout the game there are numerous keys to be found. These will open
certain areas. Asking around may help you determine what the key will open.

  P a n
���������������������������������������������
Take the Tankard to the Blacksmith and Vultureville and he will melt it down
to create this for you. Use it to take part in the Pan For Gold mini-game.


  P i c k a x e
���������������������������������������������
This can be found in Claw Swamp. It is used to destroy the rocks that block
your access to some items.


  P r o p e l l e r
���������������������������������������������
Earn this by completing the Long Jump mini-game in the Mako Islands. Use this
to build your boat.


  R e d  P r e s e n t
���������������������������������������������
Red Presents are a kind of bonus. Finding these will improve your rating. In
turn this will help you unlock the secrets hidden in the Mysterious Cave.
Often Red Presents are not found in a linear fashion unlike the Blue
Presents. You will have to revisit areas to gain Red Presents that can only
be accessed by the use of new items.


  R u d d e r

This can be found in the Mako Islands. Complete the Swimming With Honker
mini-game to earn it. Use this to build your boat for the big race.


  S a w
���������������������������������������������
Find this in the Mako Islands. Use this to chop down the yellow haystacks
that you will find blocking your path to certain items.


  S l i n g s h o t
���������������������������������������������
Use this to attack enemies. It requires Conkers to use. This is found in
Willow Woods.


  T a n k a r d
���������������������������������������������
Get this from Dusty in Vultureville. Take it to the Blacksmith and he will
melt it down and make a Pan for you.


  T o k e n
���������������������������������������������
Win this in the Target Practice mini-game in Krow Keep. Give it to the Acorn
in Present 2.


  W o o d
���������������������������������������������
Earn this by completing the coconut Shootout mini-game in the Mako Islands.
This is used to build your boat.

Depending on how many Blue and Red Presents (as well as Invitations) you have
collected, you will earn a different rating. You will start off at Woodland
Weirdo and work your way upwards. The better your rating, the more doors
will open in the Mysterious Cave. See the Mysterious Cave section for more
details.

collectable it took me to attain that rating.

Actually, there is one more rating after Birthday Bonanza but I haven't got
it yet. That doesn't mean that there is anything missing from this guide
(collectables-wise) it's just that I used a couple of different files to
finish the FAQ and consequently I haven't picked up every single collectable
on a single file. That is how you unlock the last rating. I WILL get this
included at some point, but it means playing all way through the game again
and I'm just not ready for it again. If you know about the last rating then

Before I start, I would like to give you a brief insight into how this guide
will work. This game being the usual Rareware collect-a-thon it is almost
impossible to get all items step by step. However, all you need to do is
follow the walkthrough along and you will find every single item.

Head to the left and enter the adjacent room. Collect the Conkers and the
Acorn from in here. You can also view the map of Willow Woods if you wish.
When you are ready, leave the house via the door at the bottom of the screen.

Walk directly to the left, along the path. There is a patch of dirt in front
of you. Stand on it and press Select. You will dig down into the ground and
appear on the other side of the fence. In this fenced area is the Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 2 - FIND THE GUARDIAN |
 O====================================O

Leave the fenced area by using the dig function. There is a larger fenced
area which Conker's house is inside. Search the perimeter of this fence to
find some Acorns and Conkers. Once you have finished exploring, go back to
the front of Conker's house. Just below the house is another patch of dirt.
Stand on it and use the dig function to leave Conker's 'garden'.

Speak to the Acorn who is rushing back and forth along the path. He will tell
you that you need to head Northeast to the Forest Guardian's house. Walk to
the right along the path. Follow it downwards. Take the first right and keep
on this path as it moves upwards. You will pass a Terrible Tulip on the left
hand side. You have no way of attacking it yet, so quickly run past it to
avoiding being harmed.

Carry on along this path until you reach another rushing Acorn. You don't 
need to speak to him, as he will say exactly the same as the first one. 
Instead walk up the stairs here. Run past the Terrible Tulip here. The Forest
Guardian's house is on the left hand side at the end of the path.

Pick up the Conkers and the Acorn from inside. Move to the next room. In 
here is the Forest Guardian. He will give you a few hints about playing the
game. He will also give you the Windmill Key and the Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 3 - WINDMILL WOES |
 O================================O

Leave the Forest Guardian's house. Move back down the path to where the
rushing Acorn is. Speak to him and he will inform you that the Key that you
just obtained fits the Windmill. 

Go along the path to the left, all the way back towards Conker's house. As
you are moving back up the path, just before you reach the house, there is a
sign post near the junction. This sign will direct you to either Spooky 
Forest or Mushroom Town. From this sign, follow the path upwards.

There are a number of Mushrooms walking up and down here. You cannot jump
over them, so hug to the fence to avoid injury. Keep on this route as it
moves to the left. Keep going until the fence turns downwards. Close by
there is a sign that will direct you to the Windmill. Walk up the steps next
to this sign. 

Beware of the Terrible Tulip at the top of these steps. Quickly run past it.
Follow this path, avoiding a couple more Terrible Tulips. At the end of the
path is the Windmill. Head inside.

Inside there is an Acorn. Don't speak to him yet, go through the doorway to
his left and collect the Conkers and Acorn from in here. Now go back and 
talk to the Acorn. He will give you instructions on how the box puzzle
works.

To push a box press A and hold D-Pad in the direction you want. The box
will slide until it hits something to stop it. You can only move white
boxes. You need to get the boxes to sit in the indentations in the floor.
As soon as you do, the puzzle will be complete.

Okay, this is easy enough to follow. The first box that you need to move is
marked 01. The second is 02. Just push them in the directions that the arrows
indicate to drop the white boxes in the indentations.

As soon as you have finished this task the door at the top of the room will
be opened. Behind it is the Present.

 | THE SLINGSHOT |

From the where you picked up the last Present, go through the door on the
right. In the next room collect the Acorn and a Conker. Head through the 
door at the bottom of the screen. In the centre of this room you will find
the Slingshot. You can finally attack your enemies! Now leave the Windmill.

 | BLUE PRESENT 4 - TARGET TROUBLES |
 O==================================O

You need to go all the way back to the Forest Guardian's house. Follow the
path down away from the Windmill, towards Conker's house. There are a number
of Terrible Tulips on this path. Try out the Slingshot and destroy them using
Conkers. Go down the stairs at the end of this path. Go to the right and
continue along this path, then take your first right (on the path). Follow
this path around to the Forest Guardian's house. You will have taken this
route before, so it should be familiar to you.

At the Forest Guardian's house, speak the Forest Guardian. Now that you have
at Slingshot he will set you a challenge. You need to hit all of the targets
within the time limit. Use the D-Pad to move to cursor over a target. Then
press A or B to fire a Conker at the target. There are 6 targets to hit. You
should have plenty of time to complete this mini-game.

After you have completed the challenge, the Guardian will open the forest for
you. He will also reward you with a Health Acorn. Exit the house and walk 
around the back. The Guardian also rewarded you with another present! It is
sat in a gap in the fence.

 | BLUE PRESENT 5 - IN THE FOREST |

Proceed through the gap in the fence behind the Forest Guardian's house. Pick
up the Health Acorn here, then read the signpost. You can either go to Forest
Wong or Claw Swamp. Claw Swamp isn't open to you yet, so head to the right.

Collect the Health Acorn. You will then come across what looks like an orange
Terrible Tulip. This is a Ferocious Flower. Kill it using your Conkers. 
Behind this is an actual Terrible Tulip. Take it out and head up that path.
If you have no Conkers to do this, take the path just to the right. This way
you will need to jump over a couple of Fire Ants before meeting up with the
other path.

To the left at the bottom of the screen there are Conkers and Health Acorns
to be found. Take out the Terrible Tulip at the top of the screen. Move along
and you will find a house. Obtain the Conker and Health Acorn before moving
inside. 

Once inside pick up the Health Acorns from this room, then head into the room
on the left. In here is an Acorn who will give you a Key (Mushroom Town). 
After speaking with him go back to the other room and head upstairs. In this
room is the Present!

 | BLUE PRESENT 6 - MUSHROOM TOWN |

If you are unsure where Mushroom Town is, check the map. You need to leave
the forest and go back towards Conker's house. As soon as you reach the path
that moves upwards towards Conker's house, stop. Instead of going up, take the
downward path. Pick up the Health Acorn here and take out the Crow and the
Ferocious Flower. Make your way over the bridge. Follow the path on the other
side to reach Mushroom Town.

Kill the first Mushroom that you meet, then head down the stairs. Take the
left hand path to reach a house. Your Key will open it, so head inside. Speak
with the Acorn in here and he will give you the Present.

Go through the door behind the Acorn. Collect the Health Acorn here. Move to
the right, pick up the Conker and then leave the room through the door here.

Push the boxes in the directions the arrows indicate. Push the 01 into it's
indentation first, then the 02, then the 03. If you mess up, press START to
reset the boxes. 

When you have done this, go back into the previous room. The door at the top
of the screen is now open. Pick up the Conkers in the here, then move into 
the next room. There is a mouse in the room, bouncing off the walls. You
need to double-tap the A button to stomp on it. Wait until it comes at you,
then start the stomp early, giving Conker time to jump first. You don't need
to do this, but it is good practice. Now leave this room. 

Back in the main room in this house, go to the left. There is another door
that has opened up here. Collect the Conkers as soon as you enter, then go
to the room to the left. In here there is a Spider. You don't stomp of these
to kill them. Shoot it with your Slingshot. Leave the house via the door at
the bottom of the screen. 

Outside, walk to the right and pick up the Health Acorn. Enter the near by
house. Gain another Health Acorn from in here, then move to the room on the
right. There is another box challenge in here:

As soon as you have done this challenge leave the room through the door at 
the bottom of the screen. In this next room speak with the Acorn. He will
tell you that there is a switch puzzle in the next room. This is a very
simple puzzle. There are 3 switches in a line. You need to stomp on them in
the correct order. The order is this:

Completing this puzzle will open the door at the top of the screen. In here
you will find your hard earned present.

Stomp on the only button in this room. This will open up the exit. Leave the
room and leave the house through the door at the bottom of the screen.
Collect the Health Acorn before entering the next house.

Obtain the Conkers from this first room, then proceed to the next. There is a
Mouse in this room. Stomp it to open the door. In the next room is a Spider.
You can ignore it if you want. Move downwards and collect the line of
Conkers. Watch out for the next spider, then leave through the door at the 
bottom of the screen. 

Outside, pick up the Conkers. Kill the Mushroom to the right. There is a 
house with two door here. You can enter from either side, but I am going to
take the left hand door.

Once inside gather the Health Acorn. Proceed to the next room. Take out the
Terrible Tulip in here. To the right of the room is another switch puzzle.
You need to press the switches like this:

After finishing this puzzle, go through the door at the top of the screen. 
There are 3 Terrible Tulips in this next room. You can take them out if you
wish but it isn't important. There is a Health Acorn behind the right-hand
one. There are also a couple of Conkers around the room. When you are ready 
go through the door at the bottom of the screen.

There are 2 Mice and a Spider in these next rooms. You can ignore these also,
if you wish. Exit the house via the door on the right. Outside, go to the
right and collect a Health Acorn. Go into the cave at the end of this path.

As soon as you enter the cave you will be face to face with a Giant Spider.
Hit it 3 times with the Conkers to defeat it. Move through the cave. There
is a Conker to the left. Go past the pond. After you move past the boulder,
you will see some holes in the walls. These holes are shooting out fireballs.
Wait until it has just fired and then move past it. Go past all 3 of these
and you will reach an Acorn.

You can talk to him but he says nothing important. Go past the Fire Hole and
dig (Select) through the patch of dirt. You will now be taken to another area
of the cave. Pick up the Health Acorn ahead. Take out the Mouse here, then go
down the ladder.

You will now be back in the open. Collect the Health Acorn here, but beware
as there is a Crow lurking. Go down the stairs and take out the Fire Ant at
the bottom. Pick up the 3 Conkers then kill the next Fire Ant. After this you
will have your first chance to talk with the Evil Acorn.

He will express his surprise that you got this far. He will also leave you
a hint about the Boss: Hsstamean. Before you go into the room you need to
stock up on Conkers. First of all collect the Health Acorn and the Conker.
Some sources will tell you to save the game and then the Conker reappear.
This doesn't work for me. Instead run back up the path that you just came
from. If you look to the right of the screen, you will see that the Conker
has reappeared. Repeat this until you have a good number of Conkers. You will
need an absolute minimum of 5, but it would be wise to allow for any missed
shots. Enter the cave.

You need to stand at either Point 1 or Point 2. If you stand here you cannot
be harmed by Hsstamean. He will leave one of his holes and then take a head
along the marked path. He will then exit the area through the other hole.
Wait until he passes by you and fire a Conker at his head. This will harm
him. If you are quick enough, you can hit him at Point 1 and the run to Point
2 and hit him there as well. However, the more times you hit Hsstamean, the
faster he will move. You need to hit him a total of 5 times.

After you have defeated Hsstamean, the Evil Acorn will make a quick getaway.
Go to the very bottom of the screen. At the bottom of the stairs is the 
present! Your rating will now move from Woodland Weirdo to Forest Fiend.
Exit the area through the portal at the top of the stairs.

After you have defeated Hsstamean go through the portal and exit the area.
Walk along the path here and you will find the Invitation.

After you have collected all 8 Blue Presents, you need to move on from Willow
Forest, to Vultureville, so you can find the next 8 Blue Presents.

Speak to the Acorn stood on this path. He will tell you he saw someone run
off towards the barn. Move along the path and collect a couple of Conkers.
In the middle of the path you will find your first Invitation!

Go left from here and push the log out of the way. Head upwards and over the
river. To the right is the Old Barn. Go in here. Inside, go through the door
next to the Acorn. Stomp on the Mouse in this room to open the door on the
right. Collect the Conkers from this room then proceed to the next. In this
room is a switch puzzle.

the screen. Collect the Key from a small room on the right and then leave
the Old Barn via the door at the bottom of the screen. You will now have made
it to Vultureville.

Well done! You made it to Vultureville. Look behind the Old Barn to find a
Health Acorn. Now follow the path to the left and you will come across a
house. Enter it through the right hand door. Inside, go upwards through the
doorway and stomp the Mouse in this room. Now walk right through the next two
rooms. 

You will now be in a long room. Go to the end and you can speak to the Acorn 
if you want. Stomp on the switch next to the Acorn. Head all the way back to
where you came in. From here go over to the left of the house. Go through the
room with the spider and the room after that. There is a switch puzzle here,
as well as the Present.

This will open up a gap in the fence, near the Old Barn. Leave this house. 
First, go through the gap in the fence directly below. In here are some
Conkers and Health Acorns. Now, go back to the path and walk along it to the
right. You will come to another gap in the fence. Go through here and move
downwards. Follow the path here then go over the bridge and enter the town.

Head into the Hotel, which is on the left. On the ground floor you will find
a Health Acorn and a Conker. Head over to the right and up the stairs. Up
here speak with the Acorn on the left. He will say something about leaving
the key to the upstairs at the cemetery. Grab the Health Acorns from the
room on the right. Now leave the Hotel.

Follow the path down and take your first right, past the Smithy's. Take the
upward path after this and enter the Undertakers. Collect the Health Acorns
from in here, then leave through the back door. 

Collect the Conker then head up the ladder. Follow the path at the top, then
make your way through the trees. Stomp on the Snake and shoot the Crow. Walk
along the path to the right, through the grave stones. In between the grave
stones you will find the key that the Acorn was talking about. This is all
you can do in Part 1.

 | INVITATION 2 - HANGING WITH THE COWS |

At the end of the path in the cemetery is a building. Don't go inside yet.
Instead head around the back of it and follow the path around. Keep on
this route and eventually it will open up into a grazing area for cows. In
this area is the Invitation.

Go back to the cemetery and go inside the building here. Talk to the Acorn
inside and he will introduce himself as the Undertaker. He will also tell you
that he has been shot. After this he will give you the Present.

 O======================================O

Speak to the Sheriff, who will have recently entered the room. He thinks that
it was you who shot the Undertaker! He will now arrest you and throw you in
jail. 

The next thing you know, you will be sat in a jail cell. However, I highly
doubt these cells could keep any criminals locked up. There is a switch
puzzle in your cell. Stomp the switches in this order:

Leave your cell and walk over to the right. Go into the next open cell. This

Exit the cell and follow the corridor around. Speak to the Sheriff. He will
adopt you as his deputy. He will also give you the Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 4 - THE BANK JOB |

Leave the Jail. Head to the right and walk down the main path. On the right
hand side is the Bank. Go inside and speak to the Acorn at the back of the
Bank. He will tell you that Honker is in the process of robbing the bank. You
need to defeat him. Move with the D-Pad and press B to duck down and protect
yourself. Use the A button to throw balls at Honker.

You need to hit him 10 times before he hits you 10 times. He will be
strafing back and forth. You need to do likewise. When it looks like Honker
is about the pass in front of you, throw a ball. It is easiest to judge this
when he has just bounced off a wall. Don't waste your time ducking down, if
Honker throws a ball at you, dodge it using the D-Pad. 

After you have defeated Honker, he will make a quick getaway, leaving the
Present behind for you.

 | BLUE PRESENT 5 - PAN FOR PRESENTS |
 O===================================O

Leave the Bank and go back to the Sheriff's office. Speak with him and he
will mention that the Vulture Culture can help you find out where Berri is!
Leave the Sheriff's office and go onto the main pathway. Follow it downwards
and then to the right. Leave town. Read the sign here. Follow the 'Outta
Town' directions. That means you need to head to the right, instead of over
the bridge.

Enter any one of the tepees here. Speak with the Vulture Culture member at
the back of the tepee. He will tell you that he will give you a mask if you
bring some gold. Okay then. Leave the tepee and go back to the bridge. Go to
the left and enter the 'PAN FOR GOLD' building here. Speak with the Acorn in
here. He will inform you that you need a pan before you can get any gold.

Leave the building and head back into town. Go into the Smithy's. Speak to
the Blacksmith and he will send you to see Dusty. Leave the building. Dusty's
is further down the path, on the left hand side.

As soon as you enter Dusty's shoot the two Spiders that are running around.
Now speak to Dusty. He will give you a Tankard to melt down into a pan. Now
go back and see the Blacksmith. He will melt the Tankard down into a Pan for
you. He will also give you a Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 6 - PAN FOR GOLD |
 O===============================O

Go to the 'PAN FOR GOLD' building. Speak with the Acorn in here. He will
explain how to play the mini-game. You need to use the D-Pad to line up your
pan. When a nugget of gold passes over the pan, press the A or B button. When
you have some gold in the pan, quickly press right, left, right, left
repeatedly on the D-Pad. When the gold disappears you will have recovered it.
You need to retrieve 9 nuggets in 60 seconds. 

When you have done this, collect the Gold Bar. There is also a Health Acorn
for you. Now, go and see the Vulture Culture again. Unfortunately for you,
the Evil Acorn has been there before you and stolen the mask! Instead, the
Vulture Culture will open a passage for you in exchange for the gold. Leave
the tepee.

Go to the top of the screen and climb the ladder here. At the top of the 
ladder is a Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 7 - BOSS: SOL AND LUXO |
 O=====================================O

Keep to the right and head straight up. When a raised area appears of the 
left move over to it. There is a ladder here. Before you go up, stock up on
Conkers that are scattered about the area. When you are ready, proceed up the
ladder.

Speak with the Evil Acorn up here. He will set Sol and Luxo on you. They are
a pair of vultures. They will fly around the top of this platform. If you 
come into contact with them, you will be harmed. You too run around here,
staying out of their way. As soon as one of them lands, hit him with a 
Conker.

Each vulture will take 4 hits before they are defeated. After you  have
banished one, you will find that the other lands a lot less. You need to
take full advantage when he does. After you have hit them both 8 times
combined, they will be defeated. The Evil Acorn will make a run for it
again.

Sometimes, when one of the vultures lands on the fence instead of the
ground, it doesn't take off again after it has been hit. When this happens
just keep hitting it until it dies.

The Evil Acorn will leave behind the Diving Mask. This lets you swim in 
water quickly as well as allowing you to dive beneath the surface. Next to
the Diving Mask is the Present.

Go back down past the Vulture Culture and jump into the water directly to the
left of the bridge. Press Select to dive under the water. Avoid the Red and
Yellow Fish and collect the Present from the river bed.

Just to the right of the bridge is another area of deep water. Dive down here
and avoid the Shoal. On the river bed is the Invitation.

Before you leave Vultureville, drop into the hotel and go upstairs. You now
have the key to reach the second floor. Once you are up there, head into the
room on the right. There is a switch puzzle in here. Stomp the switches in

Go back to the Old Barn. With your 16 Blue Presents you will be allowed back
in. Go all the way back through the barn until you come out at Willow Woods.
Go down the steps outside the Old Barn and walk down the path to the left.

Go past the steps leading to the Forest Guardian's house and keep on this
track. Follow the path as it turns downwards. Ignore the turning that takes
you back to Conker's house, instead stay on the downward path. There is a
Conker in a dead end on your left hand side. Follow this path and jump into
the water to the left. Swim out a little and you will find a small square of
deep water. Dive down here. Avoid the Red and Yellow Fish and enter the small
cave on the right hand side. Welcome to Krow Keep.

When you start out you will stood next to the Well. Head to a little to the
left and then turn upward. Kill the Ferocious Flower here. To the right of
the hay bales is a tent. Go inside.

Speak with the Acorn in here. He will offer you a prize if you beat his game.
This is a target-hitting game similar to the one you played before. This is
a lot more difficult though. There is a lot less time, so you really can't
afford to miss with more than one shot. After you hit a target, do not move
your cursor until the next target appears. That way you won't waste any time
by moving in the wrong direction. Moving in straight lines is far more
accurate than moving diagonally.

Once you have completed the task, the Acorn will give you three things. A
Health Acorn, a Token and the Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 2 - HUSTLED! |
 O===========================O

Leave the tent. Head upwards over the stream and enter the tent here. Inside
you will find a couple of Health Acorns. Leave the tent. Head upwards again
and stick to the right. There is another tent here. Inside there is an Acorn.
Speak with him and give him to the Token that you just earned. 

You will have another mini-game to play here. A pea will be hidden under one
of 4 cups. Watch how the cup moves and pick the one with the pea under it.
You know how this works, it has been done a thousand times. Just keep your
eye on the right cup. As soon as you select the correct cup the pea will be
hidden again. The cups will move again, but this time they will be a lot
faster. Pick the correct cup again and it will hidden for a third time. The
cups will move so fast they almost become a blur. Select the right cup for a
final time and you will beat the game.

Pick up the Health Acorn and the Present.

Head back down towards the well. When you reach it, go to the left and take
out the Crow here. Keep walking to the left. Kill the Terrible Tulip and
proceed. Kill then next Tulip and then enter the tent here. Speak to the
Acorn in here. He will give you a Key to open the Castle as well as a Present.


 O=================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 4 - WALDORF PART I |
 O=================================O

Leave the tent and head to the right. When the castle wall turns upwards, follow
it. Don't go inside the near by tent, as there is a Giant Spider inside. Carry
on moving upwards and you will come to the castle entrance. Use the Key to open
the gate, then go inside.

Pick up the Health Acorn and move through the next room, ignoring the Mouse
in here. In the following room there is a doorway between 2 statues. Head 
through here. You will now have your first meeting with Waldorf.

You are stood in a chamber filled with water. Waldorf is rushing backwards and
forwards along a platform at the top of the screen. You need to attack her
with your Conkers. Wait until he passes in front of you, then fire. Watch out
for her attack though. He will stop dead and fire a Shadow at you. Is will
bounce around the room, similar to how the Mouse does. If you touch it, you
will be harmed.

You need to hit Waldorf 4 times to defeat him. After you have done so he will
leave behind a Present.


 O===============================O
 | INVITATION 1 - HIDDEN PASSAGE |
 O===============================O

Leave this chamber. Proceed through the door at the bottom of the room. Avoid
the chair in here, as it cannot be destroyed. At the bottom of the room are 
4 tiles that are a different colour to the rest of the floor. Stomp them and
a patch of dirt will be revealed. Dig through it and you will be taken to an
area with a Health Acorn in it. Collect it and head back to the room.

Advance to the right hand side of the room and go through the door here. 
There is a room here with spikes in the centre and a Fire Hole to the left.
Move around the room keeping to the right and head through the door. Walk 
to the left in the next room.

Your progress will be stopped by a spike pit and a Fire Hole blocking your
path. You need to get a good run up, wait until the Fire Hole has just shot
out flame, then take a run and jump over the spike pit. Kill the Spider on
the other side. 

Move past the Terrible Tulip and then to the bottom spike pit. There is a 
path at the bottom of the screen here. It is covered on the top by planks of
wood. Anyway, walk down here and you will find a Health Acorn. Head down 
through the door on the left.

You will now be back outside. Take on the Ferocious Flower and grab the
Invitation at the bottom of the screen.


 O==================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 5 - WALDORF PART II |
 O==================================O

Head back to the spike pit next to this path and head to the left. Collect
the Conker and move to the next room. There are 3 Conkers here. Grab the
bottom one and head down the hidden path here.

Grab the Health Acorn and go through the door at the bottom of the screen.
You will now be outside again. Beware of the Snakes and make your way
downward. You will find a couple of Conkers and a Health Acorn here. Now go
back inside.

Head through the door on the left. There are 2 rows of spikes here. Jump
over the first and land in between them. Then jump the second. After this
there is a long row of spikes, so make sure you get a good run up before
attempting this one. Watch out for the Fire Holes here, as they will impede
your run and jump over the next spike pit.

At the other side of the pit, head through the door and take out the Spider.
You are on a narrow ledge here. You need to run and jump over the pit to the
left. Make sure you have your back to the wall before you set off and make
sure that you break into a run. Go into the next room.

There is a spike pit right in front of you. Next to this pit is another, but
this one has rising and falling spikes. Wait until the spikes are almost
gone, then jump onto the pit. Quickly get to the safe ground above it. There
is another doorway between another pair of statues here. Go through to
confront Waldorf for a second time. Hit him 4 times, the same as last time.
For defeating the Waldorf you will earn a Present.


 O==============================O
 | INVITATION 2 - IN THE SPIKES |
 O==============================O

Leave the chamber and go through the door on the left. Stomp on the Mouse
here and a door will open. Go through this door. In this room are 4 more
tiles for you to stop. Do so and dig through the dirt that is revealed. You
will be taken to a room with a Health Acorn in it. Pick it up and head back.

Go through the door at the bottom of the screen. Take a run up and jump over
the gap. Wait until the spikes disappear into the ground and pass over the
pit. Beware of the Fire Hole to the right though. Move past this and through
the door. 

There is a long path full of spike pits here. They will disappear into the
ground for a few seconds at a time, giving you time to pass over them safely.
As soon as the first spike pit moves down run over it. Do the same with the
second. However, there will be a third pit blocking your progress. You need
to take a run over (along the second pit) and jump over it. Now, wait for
the third pit to drop and move over it. Collect the Conker here. Run over
the first pit then collect the Health Acorn here. Move to the next room.

Watch out for the Fire Holes, then go into the next room. Shoot the Spider
here and advance to the room on the right. Stomp on the Mouse in this room.
At the head of the room there are 4 tiles that you can stomp. Through here
you can find an Invitation. 


 O===================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 6 - WALDORF PART III |
 O===================================O


Go back to the main room and leave to the right. Walk right around this room.
Collect the Health Acorn, but beware of the Flying Sword. You cannot destroy
this, so you need to avoid it. In the next room is the familiar sight of two
statues stood either side of a doorway. Go through here to face Waldorf
again. 

This fight is slightly different to the previous 2. This time Waldorf will
throw a Flying Sword at you. This is much quicker and harder to avoid than
the Shadow. Other than that it is the same fight. Hit Waldorf 4 times to
defeat him. Upon his defeat, he will leave behind a Present.


 O===========O
 | THE TORCH |
 O===========O

Leave the chamber and go through the door on the left. Destroy the Blob in
here with 3 Conkers. Collect the Conker then move on. There are 2 Spiders in
the next room. Ignore them if you wish and advance to the next room. 

In here you will be faced with a Fire Hole, move past this one and the next.
In the next room is a Fire Hole shooting out over a spike pit. Hug the 
bottom wall, wait for the Fire Hole to spit. As soon as it has, jump over the
pit onto safe ground. Repeat this with the second Fire Hole. You will now be
on a floor with a stomp switch. Stomp on it.

You now need to go all the way back through the rooms that you have just come
through. Past the location of the 3rd Waldorf battle and all the way back
to the room with all the shifting spike pits in it. Next to the third pit
(the second one in this direction), is a door. This door was opened when you
hit the stomp switch. Head through here.

Jump over the spike pit and collect the Conker. Move past the Fire Hole and
take out the Blob here. There is a doorway at the bottom of the screen. Go
down here. Jump over the pit and continue down the passage. Jump over the
spike pit and then over the pit. Here you will find the Torch. Go back to
where you entered this passage.


 O===================================O
 | RED PRESENT 1 - BEHIND THE SWORDS |
 O===================================O

Go through the doorway opposite. Stomp on the Snake. Collect the Conker on
the left, then move to the right to destroy a Terrible Tulip. Move through
to the next room. Wait until the Fire Hole has just shot. Then run in front 
of it and go into the pathway at the bottom of the screen. Down here you will
find a supply of Conkers and a Health Acorn. These will both come in handy
if you are running a little low on Conkers, as you will need quite a few 
shortly.

Go back to the original room and move to the right. Continue this way until
you see a Health Acorn. Watch out for the Fire Hole nearby, then pick it up.
Go through the door at the bottom of the screen. Walk through this room but
watch out for the spikes and the Fire Hole. In the room after that there is
a Health Acorn. Wait until the spikes have lowered themselves, then run and
jump over the pit all in one go. Collect the Conkers on the other side, then
head through the door.

Pick up the Conker here and take out the Blob. Take the path at the bottom of
the screen, avoiding the Fire Hole. At the end of this passage is a Health
Acorn. Pick it up and go back along the passage. Go through the door
opposite and avoid the Flying Swords. At the top of the screen, you will find
a Red Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 7 - WALDORF PART IV |
 O==================================O

Come back into the previous room and head through the door on the right.
Through here take the upper door. You will now be in a small room. There is
a large gap between you and 2 Health Acorns. There isn't much space for you
to break into a run. You need to make sure you are running (just double tap
up very quickly), then jump over the gap. Once you have collected the two
Health Acorns, leave the room. 

Kill the Spider here, then move through the door at the bottom of the screen.
There are a number of spike pits in here, as well as a Shadow bouncing around
the walls. Keep out of the way of the Shadow and make your way around the
spikes to get the 4 Conkers in this room. Leave through the door at the bottom
of the screen.

Take the door to the left, then take out the Blob here. Walk straight through
this room but watch out for the Crow at the other side. Follow the path
downwards and then to the right. Walk past the knight statues and go through
the door here. 

You have now reached Waldorf again. The fight is the same as ever, you need
to hit him 4 times as usual. This time here will fire 2 Shadows to keep you
occupied. As soon as you have defeated him, grab the Present.

Leave this chamber and if you head through the door opposite. There is a box

There is a spike pit in the centre of the puzzle. When the spikes go into the
floor, you quickly need to push a box into an indent. You need to get back
to safe ground before they reappear. You need to repeat this 3 times until
you have put all the boxes in the indents. When you have done so a door
will open to the right. 

In this next room is a patch of ditch in front of a knight statue. Dig
through the dirt and you will be in a room with a spike pit. Move over the
spikes to gain the Invitation.


 O=================================O
 | INVITATION 4 - HIDDEN PASSAGE 2 |
 O=================================O

Go back to the entrance of the last fight with Waldorf and head over to the
left. Go through the doorway at the bottom of the screen. Shoot the Spider and
head through the door to the left. Collect the Conkers here.

There are two paths that you can take here. You can take the upper path, or
the path to the left. I usually take the upper path first. Make your way up
here, avoiding the Fire Hole. There is then a long spike pit to the left. Take
a good run up and jump over it. Move past the Fire Hole and collect the Health
Acorn here. Head back along this passage, back to the fork. A tip here. Press
Start to pause the game. This will take you back to the fork, rather than
walking back yourself.

Take the left hand path. Quickly make your way over the first spike pit
whilst the spikes are lowered. Pick up the Conker here, then move over the
next pit. Pick up the next Conker. Go over the final pit. Collect the Health
Acorn here, then move through the door.

In the next area, there is a Shadow bouncing around the room. Watch its
movement and avoid it. Walk over the spike pit in front of you when the spikes
are lowered. Move past the next pit on the left hand side then pass through
the door.

Watch out for the 2 Flying Swords in this room. Go through the door to the
left. Collect the Conker as soon as you enter. There is a passage at the
bottom of the screen here. Move down it and you will find an Invitation and
a Health Acorn. 


 O=================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 8 - WALDORF PART V |
 O=================================O

Move back to the main area. If you want a couple of Conkers head to the left.
Move past all the knight statues and obtain the Health Acorn here. Now go
through the door. Avoid the Blue Chair in this room and pick up the Conkers
at the back of the room. Head back through the passage back into the room
with the Flying Swords.

Go through this room, keeping away from the Flying Swords. Pick your way
through the tables and go through the door in the top right. Take out (or
avoid) the Spiders here then go through the door. In this room are 2 Shadows
moving around the room. Avoid them and gather to 2 Conkers on the right hand
side. Make sure you are well stocked up on Conkers. You will need enough to
take out Waldorf again. That is at least 4. When you are ready, head through
the door at the top of the room.

You will now be face to face with the Evil Acorn. He will set up your final
fight with Waldorf. Collect the Health Acorn and head through the gate. 

This is a fight pretty much the same as the previous 4. This time though,
you won't be in a water-filled chamber. You are stood on a small floor,
surrounded by spikes. Waldorf will be rushing back and forth at the top of
the screen. This time he will fire 2 Shadows and a Flying Sword at you. One
of these will shoot directly forwards, whilst the other 2 come out at 45
degrees. Stand just to the left or right of Waldorf to avoid these. You will
now be free to shoot him. Repeat this and hit him 4 times to defeat him. Once
you have done this Waldorf will finally be defeated. Collect the Present as
your reward.

 | GETTING TO THE MAKO ISLANDS |
 O=============================O

Leave Krow Keep and go back to the Well. Move past the Red and Yellow Fish
and swim to the surface. Once you are at the surface go to the right hand
shore. Take the upward path and follow it round to the Forest Guardian's
house. Head inside and speak with him. 

The Forest Guardian will give you a choice of 2 destinations now. You can
either go to the Mako Islands or Claw Swamp. You will need to acquire a Key
from both locations, and technically it doesn't matter which order you do
this in. However, if you visit the Mako Islands first, you can get the Saw
and access all the goodies in Claw Swamp the first time. If you go to Claw
Swamp first, you will have to revisit it when you get the Saw.

Leave the Forest Guardian's house. Follow the path downwards and head
towards Conker's House. Head right past the house on the south side. At the
junction go upwards and then take the first left. Kill the Fire Ant here.
Go into the water here. Just below the waterfall is a square of deep water.
Dive down into it.

Watch out for the Shoal and collect the Health Acorn on the right. Now move
over to the left, avoiding the fish. Go through the cave here. You will
reappear in a cavern. Exit the water and pick up the Conker and the Health
Acorn. Leave the cavern at the bottom of the screen. You have arrived at the
Mako Islands.

Welcome to the Mako Islands. As usual there are 8 Blue Presents to be found
in this area. It is also the home of the Saw. When you arrive there is a boat
race imminent. You need to head out and make sure you take part. To do this
you must pass through mini-game hell. The concept of the mini-games are fine,
but their implementation is horrible. They are just difficult because the
buttons aren't big enough. I'll let you see for yourself...


 O=================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 1 - AN EARLY START |
 O=================================O

Move to the left and take out the Vicious Vine. Follow this path directly to
the left. Head into the hut here. Speak with the Acorn in here. He will 
explain that the winner of the boat race will receive a Key. Ooooh. You need
to head out and speak with the Boat Builder to get yourself in this race.
Have a look on the back wall to view a map of the islands. Once you are
finished collect the Present from the bottom of the hut.

 | INVITATION 1 - UNDER THE SEA |
 O==============================O

Leave the hut and go directly South. Go into the water and you will see an
area of deep water. Dive down and make your way along this underwater passage,
avoiding the Red and Yellow Fish. At the end of the passage is the Invitation.


 O===================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 2 - THE BOAT BUILDER |
 O===================================O

Go back onto the island and follow the path back to the right. Watch out for
the Vicious Vines along here. Go straight past the cavern by which you came to
the islands. Once you reach a sign directing you downwards to the Boat Builder
head downwards. You will hit the next island here. There are a few Health
Acorns kicking around here. Go to the far right of the island, past the
Vicious Vine. Move back to the left as soon as you can, then enter the 
cavern here. 

Collect the Health Acorns from inside then move through the door at the top of
the screen. Watch out for the Fire Hole here and pick up the Health Acorn at
the back of the cavern. Now turn around and leave.

Back outside go to the left and head up the stairs here. Follow the path and
enter the hut marked 'Ted's Boats'. Speak with Ted. He will make you a boat
if you can bring him the following parts.

1) Engine
2) Propeller
3) Rudder
4) Wood

After he has finished talking he will give you a Present.

 | BLUE PRESENT 3 - SHOOT-OUT! |
 O=============================O

Leave Ted's Boats. Head back down the path and over both lots of steps. Once
you are over the second set head to the left. Go past the cave here, there's
nothing of interest in here. Go up the stairs here. At the top is a hut.

Speak to the Acorn inside. He will set you a challenge. You need to score
7000 points or more at his mini-game. In this game you need to shoot the
coconuts that are flying about the screen. You have two crosshairs on screen.
Wait for a coconut to shoot in and the crosshair will automatically focus on
it. You need to shoot it down when it is perfectly in the square.

Hopefully, you will hit it first time, but if not the second crosshair will
auto-focus and you will have another chance to take it down. The coconuts
will come in slowly at first and your crosshairs will be small. The more you
hit the coconuts, the bigger your crosshair will become. As the game wears on
you need bigger crosshairs as the coconuts start to come thick and fast.

I'm not exactly sure of the scoring for this game, but you pretty much need
to hit every single coconut.

After you reach the goal, the Acorn will give you some Wood, as well as a
Present.


 O================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 4 - THE LONG JUMP |
 O================================O

Leave the hut and head down the stairs. Now, make your way to the south of 
the island. Head into the water, but watch out for the Shark. Swim south until
you hit the island here. You need to make your way over to the right hand side
of the island. Here, in between a small knot of trees is a hut. Go inside.

Speak to the Acorn inside here and he will set you another mini-game challenge.
You need to jump over 5.00m to beat the challenge. Hit left and right on the
D-Pad to power up Conker. You then need to hold A or B to get the perfect
take-off angle. You need to make sure you take off before the marker, or you
will be given a score of 0.00m. I find that the best angle is between 25 and
30 degrees. 

Here is a little tip that got me through this game. This is only really 
necessary if you are right handed. Turn your Gameboy upside down. Slide your
finger over left and right on the D-Pad quickly. You don't need to take your
finger off, just slide. This should power Conker up quickly. As you approach
the jump line, hold A and take your angle up. I did this at 27
degrees, so around that should be good. Make sure you get as close as you can
to the jump line.

This one may well take you a few tries, so keep at it. Once you have finished
the mini-game the Acorn will give you the Propeller and a Present.

 | THE SAW AND THE INVITATION 2 |
 O==============================O

Leave the hut and head to the left. Head past the 2 Snakes and past the boat.
Keeping going and you will reach the entrance to a cave. Head inside. Take
out the Terrible Tulip, then head through the nearby door. Avoid the Fire Hole
and make your way to the back of this passage. Here is a Health Acorn.

Go back down the passage and at the end go to the left. Collect the Health 
Acorn and then go through the doorway here. In this room you will find the 
Saw. Woot. Go through the door behind. Through this door is an Invitation.


 O==============O
 | INVITATION 3 |
 O==============O

Leave the cavern and go to the northern shore of this island. You will find
an area of deep water here. Dive down and make your way past the Shoal. At
the end of this passage you will find the Invitation. Head over to the left,
avoiding the Red and Yellow Fish. Here you will find a group of 3 Health
Acorns.





 O=======================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 5 - HURDLING WITH HONKER |
 O=======================================O

Go back to the surface and get back on land. Head to the right and keep going
until you reach the shoreline, then keep swimming to the right. You will hit a
small island. At the centre of the island is a hut. Head inside and speak to
the Acorn. He will set up a mini-game between you and Honker.

This is possibly the most horrible mini-game ever. It is just dreadful. Not
only that, it's hard. HARD. You need to move the D-Pad from left to right to
power up Conker and make him run faster. This is extremely hard to do. The
best thing to do is to turn your Gameboy upside down. Now, slide your index
finger back and forth over left and right on the D-Pad. The same as I told
you to do for the long jump. I find this much easier than actually pressing
the buttons, not to mention quicker. As soon as you reach a barrel, press A
to jump and quickly started to hit left and right again.

You really need to stay in front of Honker for the entire race, or just a
short way behind. You can't really catch up if you are far behind. If he
moves off of the screen, you might as well give up and start again. He will
finish in 36.20 seconds, to give you something to aim for.

When you beat Honker, the Acorn will give you the Engine and the Present.


 O=======================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 6 - SWIMMING WITH HONKER |
 O=======================================O

Exit the hut. You need to work your way to the north of this island. Head 
over the water onto the next island. Towards the centre of the island (left
and upwards) can be found another hut. Speak to the Acorn inside. He will set
you up another mini-game. This time you must beat Honker in a swimming race.


Same as before, slide your index finger back and forth over the D-Pad. This
will probably be a little tiring for your hand but it will be effective. This
must be the only game I've ever written for when I need to give people advice
on their physical condition. Bloody hell. 

Press the A button to breathe when the 'Breathe' appears above Conker's head.
You need to keep with going until you reach the Finish line. You can't pause
this to give your hand a rest so make sure you are up to it.

As soon as you have defeated Honker, the Acorn will give you the Rudder and a
Present.

 | INVITATION 4 |
 O==============O

Leave the Hut and head over to the East (right) of this island. On the North
side you will find the Invitation.


 O===============O
 | RED PRESENT 1 |
 O===============O

From Invitation 3, head to the right. You will come across a smaller island. On
the South side of this island, you will find the Present.


 O===============================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 7 - SPEAK TO TED |
 O===============================O

Head back to the Boat Maker's Island. It is found to the south of the hut that
you found the last mini-game in. Go into Ted's Boats and speak to Ted. He will
tell you to go to the West and see Honker. He will also give you a Present.


 O=====================================O
 | BLUE PRESENT 8 - RACING WITH HONKER |
 O=====================================O

Leave the hut and go back over the two flights of stairs. Now head to the
left. Keep going towards the shore and you reach a jetty here. The Evil Acorn
is also here. Talk to him and he says he will give you back Berri if you win
the race with Honker, but if you lose Berri will die.

I can't really give you a step by step guide to this race. You need to follow
the chequered flags that are floating on buoys. If you are unsure follow the
line that Honker takes. There are a lot of dead-ends to go down, make sure
you move from flag to flag. Watch out for the rocks as well. Try and stay
on the inside of Conker on the corners to gain some ground on him. 

Once you have defeated Honker, the Evil Acorn will leg it without giving
Berri up. He will leave behind an Aztec Key and a Present.

 | RED PRESENT 2 - IN THE CORNER |
 O===============================O

Before you leave, you might as well grab the second Red Present. Go to the
very South Eastern corner of the map. Here you will find an area of deep
water. Dive down and grab the nearby Health Acorn. Make your way through
the passage, avoiding the Shoals. At the end of the cavern is the Present.

 | GETTING TO CLAW SWAMP |
 O=======================O

Head back to the top most island of the Mako Islands, the Forest Wong. Go
through the cave on the east of the island. Dive into the deep water here
and make your way past the fish and to the surface. 

Go to the right hand shore. Go along the path here, then follow it upwards.
Make your way past Conker's House and to the Forest Guardian's house. Don't
go into the house, instead go through the fence to the side. At the T
junction go to the left, towards Claw Swamp.

Take out the Fire Ants and collect the Health Acorn. Make your way past the
Terrible Tulip. Keep moving along this path, taking out the Fire Ants and 
the Terrible Tulip along the way. At the end of the path is a cave. Head 
inside.

Move on to the right and take out the Ferocious Flower and the Terrible Tulip.
Continue along, paddle through the water and then jump over the pit.

At the other side of the pit is a Health Acorn. Stomp on the Snakes here,
then jump over the pits here. Kill the Wolf here. Move a short way to the
right and at the bottom of the screen is a haystack. Use the Saw on it.
Behind here the Pickaxe is found.

Now, head upwards and take out the next Wolf here. Pick up the Health Acorn,

Watch out for the spike pits. Wait until the first one is about to reactivate
before jumping to the second. You then need to push all of the boxes into
the indents. Once you have done this leave the house. Head to the left and
pick up the Health Acorn. Further up the path is a Present.

Follow the path along and jump over the 2 pits. Deal with the Terrible Tulip
then jump over the next pit. Continue forward and jump over the smaller pit
here. Stomp on the Snake and then jump over the proceeding pits. Go into the
gap in the trees ahead.

Follow the stream around, but watch out for the Terrible Tulip, the Snake
and the Crow. Pick up the Health Acorn on the left. Follow the path upwards.
When it turns to the left, you can go to the right. Down here is a haystack
with an Invitation behind it.

Now, follow the stream to the left. Take out the Crows and the Terrible
Tulips and you will reach a swamp. In the bottom left here is a Red Present.

Next, move upwards and take out the Ferocious Flower. Jump over the series of
pits here, collecting the Health Acorns along the way.

After this is a Spear Thrower. Wait for it to fire a spear, then move past
it. Watch out for the one on the other side of the path and then jump over
the next pit and then the next. There is a Giant Spider here. Take it out 
then collect the Health Acorn to the right, behind the Spear Thrower. Take
the upper right hand path. Jump the next pit and kill the Wolf here. You 
will have reached the next house.

There is another box puzzle here. I hope you like them because there are a
lot more to come. Follow the arrows to get all of the boxes into the
indents.

Follow the arrows for number 01. You might find the picture a little messy,
so to clarify, push the 01 box to the right and follow that arrow. Push
number 02 in, then 03 will pass over the spot where 02 was before. Number 04
will push against number 05. You will actually need to put number 05 in its
indent before number 04. Put number 06 in and you will be complete.

Leave the house. To the left is a Blue Present.

This is relatively simple to follow. The spikes around the edge are unmoving,
but the ones in the C shape in the centre will move up and down. Push the
boxes into the indents as indicated above.

Once you are done, go outside. A Present is sat just to your left.

This is easy. Just to the left is a haystack. Take it down and behind it you
will find the next Invitation.

Move up the path then jump over the 3 pits one after another. Crows will
swoop in to attack whilst you do these so either take them out or avoid
them.

Walk down the pathway, but look out for the Spear Throwers. Take out the 
Ferocious Flower at the bottom of the track. Move close to the pit here.
Kill the Ferocious Flower on the other side if it is too close, before
leaping over the pit. 

Jump over the next pit and then stomp the snake that is here. Further along
this route there are 2 Giant Spiders. Shoot them if you have enough Conkers
and then advance forwards. Kill the Terrible Tulip on the right hand side
before heading through the swampy area. 

Take out the next Terrible Tulip and carry on through the swampy ground.
Collect a Health Acorn here. Destroy the Spider here. Run past the Spear
Throwers and continue down this route. There is a Red Present just to the
right, but you can't reach it yet. Head into ANOTHER house here. Yawn.

OMFG! It's a box puzzle. I'm shocked.

Continue down the path. Kill the Terrible Tulip then wade through the water.
On the left hand side is a haystack guarding a Red Present.

Advance along the route, avoiding the Spear Thrower. Move past the Terrible
Tulip and the Snake. You will come to a small lake. Head through the gap in
the trees at the top of the screen.

Collect the Conker, then take out the Wolf. Keep on this path. You will
encounter another Wolf, as well as a couple of Health Acorns. You will then
reach a pit with a Spider running around near it. Take out the Spider then
leap over the pit. Stomp on the Snake at the other side. Watch out for the
Spear Throwers. After these you will meet another Wolf. Deal with it and then
head to the right. Here you will find the SEVENTH house. I think you can take
a guess what is inside. There have been a couple of clues.

Follow the path, but beware of the Spear Throwers. Collect the Conker and the
Health Acorn. Take out the Ferocious Flower and the Spider here. Walk down

Acorn on the left. There are a couple more of these further down the route.
Go past the Terrible Tulip at the bottom, then jump over the pits on the left
hand side. On the other side, there is an Invitation nearby.

Stomp the Snake here and then head into the EIGHTH house. I say that again
EIGHTH. I think Rare could have diversified this level a bit. Inside is the

Do I really need to tell you what to do here? Well I'm going to, just in
case you didn't get it the first seven times. Put the boxes in the indents.
Follow my pretty little diagram if you get confused. Once you are done, leave
the house. Follow the path upwards past the house. Make your way through the
swampy ground, past the Terrible Tulip. The Evil Acorn is ahead of you.
Speak to him. 

He will set up a fight with the Swamp Fiend. Save the game, then head through
the doorway to begin the battle. You will now be in a swamp. The Swamp Fiend
stays in the swamp throughout. You will get sight of his hands but that's
about it. This is a truly terrible boss battle. It has just been put together
poorly making it both difficult and joyless. 

The Swamp Fiend doesn't really have any attacks. The Swamp Fiend will appear
out of the ground. When he does, you need to stomp right on his fingers. Make
sure you hit the fingers and not the complete hand, otherwise you will be
harmed.

There is no real concrete method for defeating this boss. It is that goddamn
random. The best thing that I have found to do, is to stand in the middle of
the swamp and wait for the hand to appear. Quickly jump, then stomp on the
fingers. If you remain in the same spot, the hand will appear in the same
place, meaning you can safely attack.

After a few hits, a second hand will appear. Repeat the same process, but
this time try and hit both hands at the same time if they appear close enough
together. After a few more hits, a third hand will appear. Keep standing in
the same spot and stomp on the fingers.

A few more hits later, the Fiend will be defeated. Don't expect this to happen
easily, give it some more practice. Once you have finally given him a good
kicking, you will get the Aztec Key and the eighth Blue Present.

 | GETTING TO THE AZTEC TEMPLE |
 O=============================O

Walk into the portal and you will be taken back to Willow Woods. Hopefully,
you have already been to the Mako Islands, but if you haven't then see the
chapter above.

Now that you have both Aztec Keys, its time to pay a visit to the temple.
Directly north of Conker's house you will find a small area with a patch of
dirt at the end. Stand on it and press Select to dig.

Conker will dig a long way and emerge on a large patch of dirt. Grab the four
nearby Conkers as well as the Health Acorn on the right. Follow the yellow
path downward and grab the 3 Health Acorns along here (but watch out for the
Snake).

After you have the Acorns, follow the path northward past the Fire Ant and
the Spider. Along here you will find another Health Acorn at the side of the
path. Just to the right, you will find the entrance to a cave. In here, go
through the first door and collect the Health Acorn. Go through the second
door to enter the temple. As soon as you enter here, there is no way out
until you have finished the level.

There is a large spike pit in this room. Certain squares of the spikes will
rise, whilst others disappear. You need to walk on the ones that have
disappeared. When the spikes begin to change over, jump onto a square that
previously ha spikes on it. You should have dealt with this kind of thing
before. Anyway, work your way over to the left and head through the door
here.

Beware as you advance forward. As soon as you reach the circular pattern on
the floor, a huge rock (have you seen Indiana Jones?) will roll forward and
crush Conker! To avoid this fate, as soon as the rock begins to roll you need
to run back and hide the nearby alcove. Once the rock has smashed, you are
free to move forward.

Press on and run across the spike pit when the spikes disappear. Grab the
Conker before moving into the next room. Wait for the Fire Hole to shoot,
then take a running jump over the spikes. Go through the door and collect
the Health Acorn just to the right. Progress through this room until you
reach a pool of water. Jump in here and dive down.

Collect the three Conkers, then swim to the right. Swim past both of the
Shoals. Go past the Red and Yellow Fish and resurface. Up here, grab the
Conker just to the south, but watch out for the Mouse. Go north and make your
way past the Fire Holes before moving into the next room.

There are a series of long gaps now. You need to take running jumps to get
over them. After the last jump, head through the door. Through here, kill
the Blob then move past the spikes. Jump over the gap and run past the Fire
Hole. Leap over the next spike pit and collect the Health Acorn on the other
side.

Leap over the next pit, then make your way around the spikes and into the
next room. In this next room, you will find your first box puzzle. There's
gonna be a few of these again, so prepare to be bored.

You might find this map kind of confusing, but I couldn't think of a better
way to show it. The 01 white box goes into the indentation directly to the
left. The 04 box is pushed against the 01 box, before being pushed into the
indent on the line below. I hope this clears things up.

Once you have finished the puzzle, go through the door on the right. In the
next room, take a running jump over the spike pit. On the other side you
will find the Blue Present.

Kill the Blob just to the right, then leap over the next spike pit. Now head
into the next room. In here, take the bottom path and grab a Health Acorn
here. Now take the upper path and make running jumps to get over both of
the spike pits. Run past both of the Fire Holes and head into the next room.

In here there are a few pools. You can't dive into them, but you can grab the
Conkers in them. Avoid (or stomp) the Mouse and head over the spike pit. Go
into the next room to find the next box puzzle.

Leave the room through the door to the south and leap over the bottomless
pit. On the other side you will find the Blue Present.

Jump over the next pit then run past the Fire Holes. There is a pool of water
here. Jump in and dive down. Go past the fish and collect the Health Acorn.
The first time space opens above, swim up here, even though it appears to be
a dead end. Up here you will find the Invitation.

Carry on through the pool and emerge at the other end. Watch out for the
Shadow and exit through the door on the left. Go straight into the next room
and you will see the Invitation.

Take the other path in this room and kill the Blob. Wait for the spikes to
disappear before running across them, but watch out for the Fire Hole on the
other side. Now head into the next room. In here, make your way over the
spikes as they disappear, then go through the door on the other side.

Leap over the nearby pit and head to the right. There is a Shadow bouncing
around this area. Keep out of its way, then jump over either of the pits.
Just to the north you will find a door. In the next room is the next box
puzzle.

Once you have completed this puzzle, go through the door to the north. Leap
over the gap here and grab the Blue Present.

In the next room, wait for the Fire Hole to shoot, then take a running jump
over the spikes. On the other side is a Health Acorn. Repeat the same thing
with the next two Fire Holes and spikes. After this you will find the next
Blue Present.

Leap over the spikes in the next room and grab the Health Acorn. Take a
running jump over the next spike pit. Collect the Conker and move into the
next room.

In here, there are 3 pools. Grab the Conkers that are floating on top of them
before diving into one of them. Swim past the fish and head over to the left.
Avoid the Shoal and surface at this end of the pool.

Up here, there is a Shadow bouncing around. Avoid it and head north. Here you
will find a Health Acorn. Now go through the door to the south. Head through
this room, taking the Spider out if it gets in the way. 

In the next room, leap over the pit. After this the path will open up to the
right. There is one of those Temple of Doom rocks waiting for you here. As
you approach the circular pattern on the floor the rock will roll forward
and crush Conker, killing him regardless of how much health you have. To
avoid the rock, quickly run around the corner and watch it break up. Now head
through the door.

Stomp the nearby Snake and head along the corridor. Through the door at the
end is a box puzzle.

This puzzle seems to be a lot easier than the previous ones. Once you have
finished it, go through the door at the bottom of the room. In this corridor,
stomp the Snake, then collect the Blue Present from behind it.

Follow the corridor along until you reach a spike pit. Kill the Vicious Vine
on the other side before leaping over the spikes. Go through the door here.
In the next room, you have the opportunity to pick up a couple of Health
Acorns. However, these are defended by spikes and Fire Holes, so I would
suggest that you leave them alone.

Move through this room and collect the Conkers from the next. In the next
room, you will need to move over the spikes as they disappear. Once the
spikes that you are stood on begin to rise, you need to jump to a square
adjacent, where they are beginning to disappear. You should have dealt with
this before on numerous occasions, so this shouldn't cause too much hassle.

Go through the door on the other side of this room and you will be met with
a Shadow. Carefully watch its path and pick your way around it before leaving
the room. 

In the next area, there is a small pool close to a huge spike pit. Dive down
into the water. Swim to the other end of the pool and resurface. You will now
be on the other side of the spike pit. Go through the close by door.

Make your way along this corridor and grab a Conker and a Health Acorn. Go
to the right of the Acorn and just to the south, you will find the
Invitation.

Follow the path upwards and stomp on the snake. Go through the door here to

You see the ===? That's like a double line. Push the 04 along it first, then
the 05 along it after, if you get what I mean? Anyway, once you are done, go
through the door and grab the nearby Health Acorn. Move past the Fire Hole
and grab the Blue Present.

Go into the next room and leap over the spikes. Head into the next area and
leap over a couple of spike pits. Grab the Health Acorn on the right, then
kill the Ferocious Flower. Head over to the right and leap over the next
spike pit. Now go through the door.

Take out the Blob here. Now, make your way through this room and past the
Fire Holes. Head into the next room and you will be faced with a couple of
Shadows. Make your way past them and ignore the nearby pools (you can't dive
into them). Go through this room until you reach the door in the south.

Jump over the spike pit and take out the Ferocious Flower on the other side.
Leap over the next spike pit and grab the Health Acorn from the other side.
Now jump over the pit on the left. Hit the Blob nearby and go through the
door.

In the next room, jump over the spikes and head through the door. In here is
a...BOX PUZZLE!!!!!

Now that you are done here, head through the door to the north. Through here
you will find the Blue Present.

Go along this path and when you come to the Snake, there should be a path
moving downward, off of the main corridor. Go down here and jump over the
spikes. Dive into the pool of water. Swim to the other side of the pool and
resurface. In this small room, you will find the fourth Invitation.

Head back through the pool and jump over the spikes. Follow the path over to
the right. Run past the Fire Hole and head into the nearby door. Make your

Pretty simple. However, you should note that number 04 is going to the right
and number 05 is going just to the left of where number 04 started out.

Once you have completed this puzzle, go through the door to the left. Through
here, you will find the Red Present over a spike pit. Now, leave this room
and head back over the large spike pit.

Back out in the corridor, head over to the left. Go around the spike pit and
take out the Vicious Vine, before moving through the nearby door. Run along
this corridor and kill the Vicious Vine at the end. Go into the next room
and you will be met by three Snakes.

Ignore all the Snakes and go through the next door. Take a running jump over
the spikes here and collect the Health Acorn. Now go through the doorway to
the left.

Through here there is a Shadow bouncing around. Avoid it and head over to
the left. In the room here, there is a Spider and a Health Acorn. Kill the
Spider and go through the next door to find another couple of Acorns.

Go back into the main room and head south, past the pool. Stand in the
doorway down here. Just to the right you will see a rock just to the right.
Don't just go stepping out, that would be stupid. Quickly step out a short
way, then step back into the doorway. This should make the rock roll to the
left and smash.

Make your way down this passage and collect the Health Acorn. Leap over the
pit and then the spike pit. Grab the Acorn further along and you will be in
a room with three doors leading off of it.

Take the bottom door and grab a couple of Acorns from in here. Go through
the door just to the left and you will find a switch puzzle.

Completing this puzzle will open up the top door in the previous-but-one
room. You will find the Red Present here, over a spike pit.

 | BLUE PRESENT 8 - BOSS: GOLEM |

Go back to the main room and head through the door on the right. Collect the
Conker here. You're going to need at least 20 Conkers for a good go at the
last boss, so if you don't have enough then keep walking off screen to make
this one reappear. Once you have enough Conkers, head to the right. You might
want to save here before speaking to the Evil Acorn. Wait for him to
challenge you, then head through the door.

You will now be in a room that is half filled by spikes. Stand in safe area
in front of you and the statue (Golem) will release a Spider. Hit the Spider
will the Conker and Golem will try and suck you into the spikes. You need to
battle against this by running the other way. This will ensure Conker won't
be sucked into the spikes. Now, stomp the ground and Golem will stop sucking.
Quickly hit him in the face with a Conker and he will be harmed.

The next time, Golem will release two Spiders. Once you hit these, Golem
will begin sucking. Are you starting to see the pattern? Stomp the ground,
then hit Golem with a Conker. Repeat this for each enemy that is released.
After the two Spiders will follow a Blob, then a Blob with a Spider and
finally a Blob with two Spiders. Once you hit Golem after each of these, he
will be defeated.

The Evil Acorn will now instruct you to "meet him in the Catacombs". Grab
the Blue Present, then use the nearby Portal.

 | GETTING TO THE CATACOMBS |
 O==========================O

Finding the Catacombs is easy. However, you might want to check some things
out first. Like some of the Red Presents and Invitations that you couldn't
access earlier in the game. Information on these can be found in the three
short chapters below.

For now at least, you need to exit the cave where the temple is located, then
follow the path around to the big patch of dirt. Dig into the dirt and once
you emerge, head south. You should now be in the main area of Willow Woods.
Now either go and collect anything that you missed and visit the Mysterious
Cave or head straight to Conker's house where you will find the entrance to
the Catacombs.

until you pass over a couple of waterfalls. You will now be in an open
stretch of water with an area of deep water in front of you. Dive down and
grab the Present, avoiding the Red and Yellow Fish.

From Red Present 1 (see above), head over to the left. Go over this new
area of water and you will see a patch of deep water. Don't go down here,
that is the route to the Mako Islands. Instead, press on to the shoreline
and you will find a rock. Pickaxe this and you will find the Present behind.

On the way to the Windmill, you will come across a few Terrible Tulips. Take
out the second one which is on the right. Go past it and make your way along
the narrow path. You will come to a haystack. Chop it down with the Saw and
grab the Health Acorn behind. In this area you will find the Present.

Head toward the Windmill again. On the way, you will see a haystack sat next
to a Terrible Tulip on the left. Take down the haystack and grab the Health

the right. You will come to a fenced area. Use the Saw to take down the
haystack and get inside. Here you will find the second Red Present.

Head up to where you fought Sol and Luxo (that's past the Vulture Culture and
up the ladders). At the top of the ladders, hug the right hand wall and walk
directly upwards. You will come to a rock that is blocking your path. Destroy
it with the Pickaxe. In this area the Red Present can be found as well as a
couple of Health Acorns.

Grab the nearby Health Acorn and go through the door. Go right through the
next room, avoiding (or killing) the Spider. Move past the Fire Hole and

you will reach a spike pit with a Fire Hole over it. Wait for the shot, then
leap over the pit.

On the other side you will immediately find another pit and another Fire
Hole. Kill the Blob after this and head through the door. Make your way
across the huge spike pit and head through the door on the left. In here you
will find a box puzzle.

As soon as you finish this puzzle, go through the door. Through here you will
find the Acorn.

Go through the door on the left, but watch out for the Fire Hole. Move past
it and down the corridor. Grab the Health Acorn and move into the next room.
As soon as you are in here, kill the Giant Spider.

Head over to the right an take on the Terrible Tulip. Move past both of the
Fire Holes and into the next room. Move over the spikes as they disappear
and grab the Health Acorn on the way over. Now move through this room and
past the next spike pit. Destroy the Blob and head into the next room, where
a certain type of puzzle awaits.

Once you are done here, go through the door and grab the Conker from the next
room. Head through the door on the right and move over the spike pit. Keep
moving to the right and head through the nearby door.

In this room just take out the Blob, then go through the door. In here, grab
the Health Acorn and head through the next door. In here, go past the Fire
Hole and collect the Health Acorn, before walking through the next doorway.

Stay to the right of the spikes and run past the Fire Holes. Advance through
this room and go through the door at the other end. Nearby, you will find a
Health Acorn.

Go into the next room and move over the spikes when they disappear. After the
second spike pit, move to the left hand side of the room before moving
forward. By doing this, you will avoid the Fire Hole in the centre of the
room. Now go through the doorway on the left. Move through this room and into
the next to find another box puzzle.

Once you have completed the puzzle, go back through the door on the right.
Through here, the door on the right will have now opened. Through here, jump
over the spike pit, run past the Fire Hole and then jump then next set of
spikes.

Take on the nearby Terrible Tulip, before moving over the spike pit and
collecting a Health Acorn. On the left, you will find another Terrible Tulip,
kill (or ignore) it and head over the next lot of spikes.

Go past the next Terrible Tulip and the Mouse too. Follow the path to the left
and you will meet a Blob. Take it out and behind, you will find the Acorn
friend.

 | ACORN FRIEND 3 - AN EASY CATCH |
 O================================O

Head all the way back to the entrance of this room. Go past the Fire Hole and
into the room where you completed the box puzzle. Go to the left and take out 
the Fire Ants. Go through the door on the northern wall and you will find the
next Acorn Friend.


 O===========================================O
 | ACORN FRIEND 4 - BOX PUZZLE ON ELM STREET |
 O===========================================O

Leave the room where you found the Acorn friend and then go through the door
to the south. As soon as you move into here, a Giant Spider will come on the
attack. Either take it out or move past it on the right. Now head into the
next room.

In here, there is a Shadow bouncing around. Pick your way past it and go
through the door on the left. In here, wait for the Fire Hole to shoot before
taking a running jump over the spike pit. Leap over the next spike pit and
press forward. You will soon meet another Giant Spider. Kill it before
heading up the corridor.

Leap over a couple more spike pits and the corridor will widen out. On the
right you will see one of those Indiana Jones boulders. Stand as far away as
you can from it and move in front of the boulder. Quickly (very quickly) run
back out of the boulders path. Don't try to the top of the screen to avoid
it, this won't work.

Go left down this path. Collect the Health Acorn then move across the spikes
as they disappear. On the other side of the spikes, head through the door and
you will discover the next box puzzle.

This map is pretty easy to follow, but just to clarify, the number 01 goes
into the indent directly above it. The number 05 goes into the indent just
to the left.

Once you have completed this puzzle, go through the door on the right. Kill
the Fire Ant here and make your way through this room. Go through the door
here and head straight through the next room. Now run along this corridor
until you see a door in the northern wall. When you reach this door, head
through.

In this room is a large spike pit, which has different squares of spikes
rising and falling at different times. Make your way safely across these
spikes and on the other end, you will find an Acorn friend. Now get back
over the pit and move into the corridor.

 | ACORN FRIEND 5 - THE ONE WITHOUT A BOX PUZZLE |
 O===============================================O

Head into the room on the left and deal with the Blob in here. Go through
the door into the next room and you will immediately be faced with a Giant
Spider. Take it and press on down the corridor. Ignore the nearby door for
now and keep heading to the right. Move past the Fire Hole and you will soon
find the Acorn friend.

 | ACORN FRIEND 6 - THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY BOX PUZZLES |
 O==========================================================O

Head back over to the left and go through the door on the south wall. Here
there is a small spike pit, behind which you can probably see a Giant Spider.
It would be a good idea to kill the Spider before leaping over the spikes.

Over here, you will see another Giant Spider behind another spike pit. Take
out the Spider, then jump over the spikes. Leap over the final spike pit and
move past the Fire Hole before leaving the room

In the next room you will find yet another Giant Spider. Run past it and go
through the door at the south wall. Through here, grab the Health Acorn and
move past the spikes. Go into the next room.

There is a Terrible Tulip over on the left. Run past this (or kill it) and
head to the left. Here there are a couple of Conkers and a Health Acorn. Be
careful though, as they are guarded by a Fire Hole. Now, head back over to
the right where you can proceed into the next room.

In here are two Giant Spiders. Kill them or move past them before heading
through the door on the right. Go past the Fire Ants then take out the
nearby Terrible Tulip. You will now see 3 doors. One on the right, one on
the left and one down the middle. First of all, go through the door on the
right.

Head along this corridor, past the Fire Ant and past the Spiders. Go through
the door at the end and take on the Blob before moving into the next room.
You will see a closed door on the left. Head past this into the next room.
Kill the Ferocious Flower in here and grab the Health Acorn from behind it.

Now, follow the path over to the left and take on the Terrible Tulip here,
before proceeding into the box puzzle room.

Once you have completed this puzzle, head back along the path to the closed
door. Well, the door isn't closed any more and you can now find an Acorn
friend.

 | ACORN FRIEND 7 - THE FAST AND THE BOX PUZZLE |

After you have found the above friend, follow the path all the way back to
where the 3 doors are. You now need to go through the left hand door. On
this path, take a running leap over the spike pit.

Over here, there are numerous spike pits and a couple of Blobs. Work your way
around these obstacles and go through the door at the south of this room. 
Head over to the right and you will meet a Giant Spider. Take it on, or avoid
it and go through the nearby door. In here is a box puzzle.

Once you have completed this puzzle, head back to the room with the Blobs in
it. Go back over to the right and leap over the spike pit. You will now be
back in the room with the three doors. Go through the middle door and deal
with the Terrible Tulips on your way through this room. Near to the second
one, you will find a Health Acorn. Now, go through the door on the left and
in here you will find a Acorn friend.

From the last Acorn friend, head back along the corridor until you are at
the fork in the paths where there are 3 doors. Go through the left hand door
and leap over the spike pit. You will now be faced with the Blobs and the
spike pits again. Make your way over to the left hand side of the room and
go through the door.

Go past the Mice here and head to the left. Grab the Health Acorn and soon
after you will find one of those Indiana Jones boulders. This time, start
running to the left and you can outrun the boulder before it crushes Conker.

Head through the door here and pick your way around the Shadow in this room.
Go through the door on the left and collect a couple of Health Acorns nearby.
Move into the next room and in here you will find Berri!

At this point, the Evil Acorn will appear and tell you that the Catacombs
are going to blow up in 5 minutes! You now need to run back to the entrance
to the Catacombs before the time runs out. Talk to Berri to start the timer.

You don't need me to give you a step-by-step guide on how to get out of here.
Just come back the way you came. The important thing to remember is not to
rush. 5 Minutes is a lot of time considering the distance you have to travel.
If you rush, then you are likely to lose more health, so just take your time
and make sure you don't die on the way back.
