In Game of Gods you create your own God and unleash powers from the heavens and the Earth to protect your Godstones from enemy forces. The good and bad gods are being threatened by 'a dark and powerful force of Chaos' and so they must work together in order to defeat that threat and save Earth. Your objective is to stop the enemy hordes using a variety of powerful god magic that is at your disposal. The game features a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer that allows you to team up with other players to battle back against large scale invasions. Always keep a close eye on the HP bar of each of the God Stones while protecting them from the enemies trying to destroy them. If an enemy has attacked one you need to make sure you do everything possible in order to prevent it from taking more damage.
Make sure if you decide to save humanity you do not let the humans distract you from your primary objective which is to protect the God Stones. Remember that if the demons destroy the God Stones the connection between the Earth and the Hall of Gods will be broken which will mean you have failed in your mission. Alternatively, if you have decided to join the dark side you just need to kill as many humans as possible.
At the bottom of the screen is the Mana bar which indicates the amount of Mana you have available to use on skills. You will find that skills have different Mana costs so you need to be careful when spending it. It is advised that you have cheap 'spammable' spells on hand at all times that can be used in any situation along with at least one powerful expensive spell which you can use in an emergency to deal massive damage.
A good strategy is to take your time against the enemies so you can learn their strengths and weaknesses and then use spells that you will know will have an impact against them.
Upgrade the skills you get whenever possible, they will all be useful at some point thoughout the game. Use the coins you earn to upgrade them.
The various spells that you can cast require different degrees of accuracy, makes sure you know the difference between these spells so you can get the most benefit from them. A flare spell for example does not need much precision to be effective whilst a spell such as the lightning bold does require accurate moves.
It is advised that you place the spells that do area damage ahead of your enemies so you get the most benefit from them as this will force them to go through the damage area whereas if you drop these spells from above you will find the enemy will be able to escape the damage area quicker.
You will be rewarded with God Points whenever you pass a level. These points can then be used to upgrade skills and abilities. It is important that you spend God Points as soon as you get them otherwise they will disappear.
It is advised that you save the coins you earn so you can use it to unlock new skills and upgrade your existing ones.
If you save up 2,000 coins you will be able to get this ability which doubles the amount of God Points you earn with each god.
If you have spare coins you may want to consider checking out the store and the 'New Item' option and getting a new item for your character.
