Use the on-screen joystick and touch on the right half of the screen to move the hero and on the left half of the screen to place the bomb. Or alternatively turn the 'Tilt' control on at the 'Main' menu screen and tilt your device to move the hero and touch anywhere on screen to place a bomb.

At the 'Main' menu screen you can disable the 'Tilt' control by pressing the middle button and switch between left/right halves of the screen (right button) if it suits you better to place the bombs with your right hand and move the hero with your left hand.

Try to get as many stars in a level as possible by destroying ALL the boxes. This is worth doing as you may be lucky and find an entrance to a secret level. You can also earn more Stars scoring combos like destroying at least 2 boxes at once or killing at least 2 enemies at once.
