Far Cry New Dawn Cheats, Tips, Strategy

Far Cry New Dawn is a first-person shooter game that is a spin-off and sequel to Far Cry 5. The game is set in an open world environment which you can explore freely on foot or via various vehicles. The story takes place in the fictional Hope County, Montana and uses a reimagined version of Far Cry 5's map. The nuclear war portrayed in Far Cry 5 has reshaped the landscape so that new areas have become available for you to explore while others are inaccessible. You take the role of a new character and embark on treasure hunts and liberate different enemy encampments and outposts. Take a look at our Far Cry New Dawn cheats. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Our Latest Questions

Who is The Judge?
There is alot of clues that point to the rookie from far cry 5
Are there microtransactions in this game?
Yes there are but only to make your life a lot easier as early as possible. You can purchase locked outfits, vehicles, and weapons you don't have access yet using Prestige Points. You can buy Prestige Points using real money. You can also pick up Prestige Points from Treasure Hunt locations though their amount is miniscule and limited. (You can get around 450 prestige points from all Treasure Hunt locations.

Fortunately, there's no Prestige-exclusive weapon; you can get them eventually through normal game progression - by upgrading your homebase and your workbench. Prestige Points will just allow you to get a weapon or vehicle earlier than necessary, without the hassle of farming for the necessary materials.
Are there collectibles in the game?
There are only two collectibles in the game: 9 Photographs and 10 music players. You can conveniently find all of these and have them displayed on the map by purchasing their respective maps from the roving traders or your Cartography facility (requires ethanol for purchase and leveled up Cartography facility)
What are Treasure Hunts and why do I need to do them?
These optional tasks will lead you to locked stashes and shelters that will always contain a lot of resources, Prestige coins, ammo, and 3 perk magazines. Treasure hunts will often include clues and sometimes puzzles on how to open them. The clues are often found in the immediate vicinity, left by the owners or creators of the contraptions if there are any. Make sure to look around for notes and read them. (Or you can just refer to our videos)

You can get all their locations by talking to scouts or buying the Treasure Hunt map. This map will become available after upgrading your homebase's Cartography facility to LV2. You can then spend ethanol to buy the map from your homebase or any backpacker traders.
What Perks should I prioritize?
For the first few perks, try to get these in order as early as you can. After that, it's going to be a matter of preference, depending on your playstyle and need.
